  • Welcome to Botanical Gardens Metro-North Station. Here is the bulk of the action between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The busiest time seems to be between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm, when they run with 3 tracks going north. Lots and lots of non-stop Harlem Line and New Haven Line action. Enjoy =)

    Very nice video!
    I have a point for discussion. Does anyone think that the MTA and CDOT should re-negotiate that 1848 agreement and allow some New Haven Line trains to stop at some of the Bronx stations such as this one, Williams Bridge and Woodlawn?

      @TheLewistownTrainspotter8102 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think it'd be worth it, as it would allow more flexibility for New Haven Line commuters. Plus it would relieve some traffic from the Harlem Line.

      @@TheLewistownTrainspotter8102 Think it would certainly help people who work in the Bronx but live north along the New Haven Line

    excellent video. keep up the good work. this is just an observation from me. has anyone noticed that nearly all of the train station in the US & Canada are not user friendly for persons in wheelchairs. if that was here in Australia the builders of the stations would have been jailed for failing to meet the disability standards. but to me it is obvious that AMTRAK, MARC, SEPTA, METRA, LIRR, METRO NORTH and others are quite happy not to have people in wheelchairs travel on their trains or in fact anyone with a disability, this is my opinion.

    • @deepnation10009
      @deepnation10009 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your observation is incorrect. Most of the station on MNRR are accessible. As are most train stations in the United States.

    • @de-fault_de-fault
      @de-fault_de-fault ปีที่แล้ว

      @@deepnation10009 there are a lot of non-accessible stations (mostly because of low platforms) all over the US, including most of SEPTA and most of NJT’s Hoboken division (including Hoboken itself) just to use two examples close by. But yes MNRR and LIRR are generally good for accessibility and NJT’s Newark division is decent.
