As a Male that is 35 years old I never expected much from life is strange but I was shocked how deep the whole plot and narrative became, this song is paramount to the series and it always is effective, I don't know if there is another medium that I felt for more than Chloe Price, it's that good. What a powerful song.

After reading some comments, I’ve come to realize this song isn’t just a sad song for me. This song is one I listen to when I need to accept life moves on and nothing ever stays the same. I’ve moved states because of covid, jobs, schooling and other complications. Each time, I’ve had to face life head on and embrace my feelings. This song reminds me of those moments when you’re thinking of all the people and change coming your way. Maybe when you’re sitting in the airport, as you begin your next journey - or when your close ones have all moved away. Beautiful song. 10/5

I remember listening to this song during an extremely dark time, I felt so numb inside that I had to hurt myself and see the pain physically in order to still feel alive. As long as whatever I inflicted on myself was stronger than the suffering I felt inside, I knew I could survive. Interesting to see how different my outlook on life is while listening to the same song, just years later. As much as I hate the memories this song brings back, it helps remind me how strong I’ve gotten and how much I’ve overcome since then
last night (24th april 2022) i saw foals in concert where they played this song. i've loved this song for years, but nothing will ever compare to hearing it live, it was just absolutely incredible and i really don't think i will ever enjoy hearing a song live more than i did hearing this one. thanks for an awesome concert though guys!

The greatest friendship I have ever seen. Finished BTS and LIS last week and I have been beaten over the head with emotions, still reeling trying to process the meaning, morality. I was lucky enough to play BTS before playing LIS even though I was aware LIS is where most of us started. I ignored this game for years because I was not in the head space to play and when I did mess around with it, I only journeyed a few mins into it, completely unaware what this story held and completely getting the wrong impression what I was in for after deciding to fully play. I decided to play in chronological order instead of release and that was a combo of pain back to back. The last set of games to grab a hold of my conscious this profoundly was Mass Effect 1-3 but LIS is in a whole other category because it's realistically relatable. We all know it's a game but after being immersed in a world where the characters feel like family, growing attached to their personalities is equally enjoyable as losing one. This song is a flurry of emotion bringing back that final scene we all know so well and dread wishing it could be changed one final time for the better and giving a girl some peace instead of sorrow. @@IwhowasdatXD960 Very glad you can relate. I really wish there was some kind of advisory for first time players to play in Chronological order. Many people on Reddit for some reason advise against this but I think it is a must or at least a recommendation before playing. It doesn't take away or spoil anything and I personally find it adds more suspense. Deepens that mystery when going into Lis Original. I also played Captain Spirit before LIS2. Now if you like going into games blind and not knowing anything like myself, that might give away some slight things but it actually spoils nothing. If anything, it added more questions when loading into LIS2. The DLC for LIS TC will spoil that game for you a little bit story wise so I definitely suggest playing TC all the way through first. Wish I could play them all for the first time again. Looking forward to the next LIS game. Hopefully it drops soon!
@@xBloodXGusherx Yeah I would have to agree that it is better to play In order,at least for LiS and BTS because while I really enjoyed playing BTS,at the end I knew how things would inevitably end,but it was pretty cool seeing how characters like Victoria and Nathan were before LiS. Of course playing as Chloe was great too(Also good I didn’t have to see Jefferson the entire game lol) But I actually just barely started playing these games in like the past couple weeks and the reason I didn’t know BTS existed is simply because it didn’t show up separately on the Xbox store when I searched LiS,which i definitely would’ve played it first if I knew. But has there been any news of a new game being developed? It would be great to know. Anyways thanks for the reply👍

There is a channel named DomTheBomb who covers that info along with other youtubers. Careful though, I believe there is spoilers on the other games in their videos so I would complete all the LIS games just to be safe. I spoiled myself on something from the True Colors game like an idiot being nosy on youtube.
I'm American so I had never heard of Foals as a band. When I played Life is Strange though the Song really stuck with me, now they are my favorite band 😁 I'm so glad the game opened me up to this British Indie band, their music is amazing ❤️

@nosfe9124 Heres the thing, this song did the same for me. This game is insane if you chose bay over bae.. You get to live an extremely traumatic experience and are not able to share it without ending up in the psychward.. or you trauma bond with the blue haired beauty that you literally killed for, and then travel the country and heal with her. I always go for the Bae. Hoping double exposure is good.

I've been listening to Foals since their more math-pop days in the 00s. They're the band that introduced me to math as a genre and are responsible for a huge part of my music taste today. Total Life Forever (the album this song is on) was a notable departure from their previous sound (2008's Antidotes) and it was a huge surprise at the time for them to take such an introspective and emotional direction, but it has become my absolute favourite album of theirs and I still come back to listen to it. I am SO glad that Life is Strange has drawn people's attention to this song, and I'd encourage anyone to go and listen to Total Life Forever in its entirety. It is a masterpiece of an album and full of vulnerability, but interspersed with nods to their mathy roots.

After reading some comments, I’ve come to realize this song isn’t just a sad song for me. This song is one I listen to when I need to accept life moves on and nothing ever stays the same.
I’ve moved states because of covid, jobs, schooling and other complications. Each time, I’ve had to face life head on and embrace my feelings. This song reminds me of those moments when you’re thinking of all the people and change coming your way. Maybe when you’re sitting in the airport, as you begin your next journey - or when your close ones have all moved away.

I remember listening to this song during an extremely dark time, I felt so numb inside that I had to hurt myself and see the pain physically in order to still feel alive. As long as whatever I inflicted on myself was stronger than the suffering I felt inside, I knew I could survive. Interesting to see how different my outlook on life is while listening to the same song, just years later. As much as I hate the memories this song brings back, it helps remind me how strong I’ve gotten and how much I’ve overcome since then

last night (24th april 2022) i saw foals in concert where they played this song. i've loved this song for years, but nothing will ever compare to hearing it live, it was just absolutely incredible and i really don't think i will ever enjoy hearing a song live more than i did hearing this one. thanks for an awesome concert though guys!

The greatest friendship I have ever seen. Finished BTS and LIS last week and I have been beaten over the head with emotions, still reeling trying to process the meaning, morality.
I was lucky enough to play BTS before playing LIS even though I was aware LIS is where most of us started. I ignored this game for years because I was not in the head space to play and when I did mess around with it, I only journeyed a few mins into it, completely unaware what this story held and completely getting the wrong impression what I was in for after deciding to fully play.
I decided to play in chronological order instead of release and that was a combo of pain back to back.
The last set of games to grab a hold of my conscious this profoundly was Mass Effect 1-3 but LIS is in a whole other category because it's realistically relatable.
We all know it's a game but after being immersed in a world where the characters feel like family, growing attached to their personalities is equally enjoyable as losing one.
This song is a flurry of emotion bringing back that final scene we all know so well and dread wishing it could be changed one final time for the better and giving a girl some peace instead of sorrow.

Very glad you can relate. I really wish there was some kind of advisory for first time players to play in Chronological order.
Many people on Reddit for some reason advise against this but I think it is a must or at least a recommendation before playing.
It doesn't take away or spoil anything and I personally find it adds more suspense. Deepens that mystery when going into Lis Original.
I also played Captain Spirit before LIS2.
Now if you like going into games blind and not knowing anything like myself, that might give away some slight things but it actually spoils nothing. If anything, it added more questions when loading into LIS2.
The DLC for LIS TC will spoil that game for you a little bit story wise so I definitely suggest playing TC all the way through first.
Wish I could play them all for the first time again.
Looking forward to the next LIS game. Hopefully it drops soon!
@@xBloodXGusherx Yeah I would have to agree that it is better to play In order,at least for LiS and BTS because while I really enjoyed playing BTS,at the end I knew how things would inevitably end,but it was pretty cool seeing how characters like Victoria and Nathan were before LiS. Of course playing as Chloe was great too(Also good I didn’t have to see Jefferson the entire game lol)
But I actually just barely started playing these games in like the past couple weeks and the reason I didn’t know BTS existed is simply because it didn’t show up separately on the Xbox store when I searched LiS,which i definitely would’ve played it first if I knew.

Yes. Nothing official though. All of it is rumors from a supposed play tester who leaked info to another person.
There is a channel named DomTheBomb who covers that info along with other youtubers.
Careful though, I believe there is spoilers on the other games in their videos so I would complete all the LIS games just to be safe.
I spoiled myself on something from the True Colors game like an idiot being nosy on youtube.

You get to live an extremely traumatic experience and are not able to share it without ending up in the psychward.. or you trauma bond with the blue haired beauty that you literally killed for, and then travel the country and heal with her. I always go for the Bae. Hoping double exposure is good.

I listen to this song whenever my anxiety gets heavy, when I can't control my obsessive thoughts. I'm unable to relax. I cry every time I listen to this song, when it's about to end my tears starts to fall down, like a blossoming.

I've been listening to Foals since their more math-pop days in the 00s. They're the band that introduced me to math as a genre and are responsible for a huge part of my music taste today. Total Life Forever (the album this song is on) was a notable departure from their previous sound (2008's Antidotes) and it was a huge surprise at the time for them to take such an introspective and emotional direction, but it has become my absolute favourite album of theirs and I still come back to listen to it.
I am SO glad that Life is Strange has drawn people's attention to this song, and I'd encourage anyone to go and listen to Total Life Forever in its entirety. It is a masterpiece of an album and full of vulnerability, but interspersed with nods to their mathy roots.

this song marks the end of my psychotherapy i made because i have many traumas from my disturbing relationship full of violence with my first boyfriend. 2 weeks ago i could pass his house and the city where i experienced it all, without having fear. his street was my runway and the first time in my life i felt self secure. and then the line "leave the horror here, forget the horror here, leave it all down here.." was so fucking indescripable epic. thank you so so much. i almost got the feeling this song was only written for this one moment of my life and i cant imagine how many other souls this song can help trough similar times. music is unbelievable and magical. who feels me and goes to the concert in berlin at the 20.th of mai, i would appreciate to share the evening
If I had to choose only one song I am able to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be this one. Never getting tired of it. Also does it mean a lot to me.
