    *I LOVE THIS ANALOGY*
When *GOD* wanted to create fish, *HE* spoke to the sea.
When *GOD* wanted to create trees, *HE* spoke to the earth.
But when *GOD* wanted to create man, *HE* turned to Himself.
Then *GOD* said: "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness".
    Note:
If you take a *fish* out of *the water* it will die; and when you remove a *tree* from *soil*, it will also die.
Likewise, when man is disconnected from *GOD*, he dies.
*GOD* is our natural environment. We were created to live in *His* presence. We have to be connected to *Him* because it is only in *Him* that life exists.
    Let's stay connected to *GOD*.
We recall that *water* without *fish* is still *water* but *fish* without *water* is nothing.
The *soil* without *tree* is still *soil* but *the tree* without *soil* is nothing ...
*GOD* without man is still *GOD* but man without *GOD* is nothing.
    May God Bless You 🙏

I’m 16 and have been battling repetitive sin for months, and I’ve been tempted more and failing more ofter in the past couple days. I’m worry that I’m not horrified enough at my sin to truly repent. Thank you for these verses, pastor Allan. They give me and so many more people hope.
To those who are in a similar situation to mine:
Keep fighting. I’m right there with you. We can do this. We can defeat this repetitive sin by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let these verses encourage you and revive you. If you need some more encouragement, read Romans chapters 7 and 8. Please pray for me as I am praying for you. May the grace of the Lord be with you. Amen.

Remember that Jesus says to us that if our brother sins against us seven times in a day and repents seven times we are to forgive them. If God expects us to forgive that way surely he does forgive and understand that we are still in our flesh living life to overcome in Christ. We're all works in progress and its an eternal adventure. I have found that as soon as I overcome one thing in this battle the next thing is there for me to overcome. Thank God it's not by our own strength that we overcome but by learning to walk in the spirit. I've also found the more I'm in sincere daily prayer and fellowship the more I walk in the strength of our sweet Savior. May God bless and keep you always.

Emphasis is IN, must Abide IN Christ Jesus. John 15. To abide in Him, one must first die to self. Imagine kicking or slapping or insulting a dead person, he only moves by the force of the kick, the body gets displaced but quickly returns to rest-still.
Likewise a believer must first die to the flesh, not minding stuff that will make him react and then respond in sin. The flesh profits nothing, it is the Spirit that gives new life John 6:63, and this life is in His spoken word- in Himself, the Word of God made flesh. Thus, once this life giving word gets into a person, it quickens his Spirit, just like it's finally plugged into a power outlet. But it must remain plugged to function. Then, it begins to change his mind, renewing it according to the word ingested, till he no longer feels anything that will bring condemnation. This is where the works of a believer is, but many have replaced it to church attendance and good works. No word, no quickening, no Spirit, no life, no Jesus no God. Romans 8:9; 1 John 5:9-12. So, the believer must separate himself unto the Lord, in the sense that he no longer id susceptible to those things that are just vanity. The Lord only asks us to pray for our daily bread. The daily bread for one can be just a loaf of bread and he is content, or $1000.00, and he is content. The beauty of it it God always supplies our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, unfortunately, we tend to want to horde. Why would someone do horrible stuff to make it big, only to donate the proceeds to charity or leave their fortune to their pets. Not that that is bad in itself, but he would have done damage to his soul all along for something that is earthy and not eternal. Believers are promised all they could wish for and more in the regeneration, and that thought alone helps them to endure all life's challenges, knowing He that promised is Faithful and True. So, no believer that is Spirit filled, Christ conscious with the hope of coming Kingdom glory will want to lose them for a moment's pleasure here in this present system. Everything is momentary in this world, nothing lasts more than that fraction of a second it materializes. Good food, wine, money etc...thus men need to constantly look for them to prolong the pleasure, but it's futile. So, what we need to do is make sure we're connected to the vine, and we can bear much fruit, and be rewarded as promised. This also comes with peace and contentment. It doesn't make sense, but that's how it's laid out. The Holy Spirit does all the word through the believer, and no matter the situation, God honors His word and keeps them until the redemption of the purchased possession. Can we, are we willing to wait, and in the meantime ignore feeding the flesh and getting to feed on the word that quickens our mortal bodies and keeps it till the end? As we feed on the word daily, asking for the infilling and leading of the Holy Spirit, putting off the old man, putting on the new man after Christ, putting on the whole armor of God Ephesians6:11-18, , we grow gradually until we grow up to the fullness of the stature of Christ Ephesians 4:13-24, meaning, each part of His body is breathed into each believer, and when it's fully grown to fit the part of His body, the flesh is put off and they're changed to become like He is and fits snugly into their different parts in His body in proportion to the Head, and they become that new Creature we've been singing about. We then get to come with Him to battle the enemies, as more than Conquerors already at the last battle. How exciting this is getting! All we need to do now, is to encourage one another until the end. What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world? Which of the religious leaders people put their trust in died for them or promised them eternal life? The witness of God is greater! Cease ye from man no matter how good or holy or powerful etc.! 1John 5:9-21. Isaiah 2:22.

@@mariea.1015 the bible as we know it is a collection of books that were written over centuries (about 500 years for the Old Testament and another 200 or so years for the New Testament).
The bible was compiled by men who picked and chose among the manuscripts available to them (probably several hundred) and selected the ones that they thought should be included in the bible. And that agreement was hardly unanimous. Looking to the Old Testament even the major religions can’t agree on how many books should be included. The Jews have 24 books, the Protestants 39, the Catholics 46, and the Eastern Orthodox have 51. Which one is correct?
But it’s important to recognize that you don’t have the original texts. You don’t even have copies of the originals. What you have are copies of copies of copies of copies of …. you get the idea. And every time a copy was made there was an opportunity for copyist errors to creep in - especially since in many cases the copyist didn’t speak the language they were copying. (Originally in Hebrew with Aramiac in some parts to Latin to Greek then to English & others language). Worse yet it provided the copyist with an opportunity to amend the text to agree with their own personal orthodoxy. And then come to translation errors. There are plenty

Yes you will fail, I will fail, we all fail when we rely on our own strength. To overcome sin is by the power of the Holy Spirit when we choose to give Him the authority to govern our lives. Addressing your hardened heart, pray and ask God to soften it again; to make it sensitive to everything that does not glorify Him; for the Holy Spirit to convict you. There is nothing that our Father cannot do and having you turn to Him is a great pleasure. You watched this video, you even commented, under the hurt, unforgiveness amd acts of sin, there is still a soul that longs for Him. He can create in you a clean heart Beloved... Just let Him.

This came at such a perfect time! I have personally been struggling with a fleshly sin for the past week. I would sometimes do it three times a day other times I would do it once a day, but I struggled with it hard. I had previously struggled with it before but it would be like a 'once and done' and then I would repent and never really deal with it again for months. But recently it's like this struggle came and tried to keep me bound down in darkness. Finally through some intense prayer (which I am continuing to do everyday!) I finally said that my SPIRIT is the one who is in control, NOT my flesh. I reclaimed my victory that is already mine, and I regave my life and body to Christ.
Now I was scrolling through TH-cam today, and this video popped up. Honeslty I feel like its a sign that from the Lord. He's saying that no matter how much we sin, He still loves us (as long as we repent of course, which I do) But I also feel like this is the Lord's way of saying that He'll fight with us through any struggle or temptation! He understands and He is willing to fight with us! Thank you for this video! God bless!

    Thanks for this.
We deserve nothing but damnation - to recall already the great mercies God has bestowed on us is another good reminder to keep coming to Him with thankfulness and repentance when we mess up. He came all the way: don't think His arm is shortened.
Also recall to treat such 'mess ups' as serious - to seek to live in a manner that is not displeasing to God, and that remembers Christ, and Him crucified.
"For the wages of sin is death" (From Romans 6:23) - sin is that serious, not just a 'little thing.'
Also: thanks for mentioning Jesus's temptation in the wilderness as being tempted *by the devil* for forty days.
Despite having read those passages multiple times (Matthew 4, Luke 3), it never struck me that temptations were ongoing throughout that forty day period, but rather I thought that the devil just came at the end of the fast when Jesus's body was physically at its weakest.

    Take care! :)

I feel like i'm struggling every single day, put simply, I don't evangelize alot. I have alot of oppurtunities at work, but i seem to fail, to get that conversation going. And I kinda punish myself for it, I just feel so guilty for not saying anything, i've read apoligetics books, looked at ray comforts videos, and I just seem to be a coward and still fail to say anything. If you guys could, please could you pray for me with this issue, I really need help with this. Thank you and may God bless you all 🙂

      Try something different.
Try writing an anonymous short letter/message and leaving it somewhere for a person to find.
Try humming worship songs at work.
Allow yourself to take small steps.
That's the only thing that has been helping me.
Also, sometimes you just need to listen to people's needs, desires or struggles and ask yourself how you can help both spiritually and in a practical way.
You got this! God's with you.

Remember that one of the most powerful ways to evangelize is to simply set a good example. I was atheist for 50 years, and had a lot of people try to tell me why they believed, but what really got me into church and interested in God was by observing the everyday lives of people that were good Christians. Not everybody has the gift of convincing speech but everybody can live a godly life and trust me, people will notice!

Do what I do and try using one of your situation to spread the gospel with people at work. Open up to them and share with them one of the things you’re struggling with and explain to them how Jesus Christ loves you and is working on you and loves and forgives you. That’s a good way to start the conversation
