Hi, I've just found your channel, I've been binge watching all your videos 😊, your dolls house is very lovely, I'm looking forward to your next video. Diane in Yorkshire, England, UK 🇬🇧
I just discover your channel but I LOVE your witch house and the way your built under the stair and your kitchen ! Great great great so cool and good vibes it's look real.
I found your channel when searching for McKinley dollhouse. I love how you converted it to a Georgian design, my favorite time period. I also love how you thought to put the sink in the bow window. Great space saver. My McKinley is going to be an old fashioned toy store. Love what you’ve done. ❤ you should make the door to the witch room a hidden bookcase door. That would be very in style for someone practicing witchcraft in the Georgian era.
Greenleaf houses sacrifice space for aesthetics, so I have made a habit of economizing the square inch-age as much as I can by making built-ins wherever I can. I also have been over the dollhouse industry's penchant for Victorianizing everything. I like the Regency/Georgian look much more. Since the McKinley had taken quite a beating from the squatters that took residence when it was in the attic for so many years, it wasn't too much of a problem to reshape it. And the attic has such a waste of space with those inexplicable gables (how would those even work as a town house?). So I bashed it.
I thought about the hidden door, however Miss Huxley is a rather renowned sorceress in Boston, and she prefers to have the iron- infused red paint on her magic room door to shield against unwanted spirits, and make the room safe for her visiting clients.
Thank you! Miss Huxley is not as much saucy as she is clever and wry. Her friend and fellow sorceress, Miss Wolffe is the saucy one. She is a dark witch, Miss Huxley is a white witch.
I love this. I am working up to converting a piece of furniture I have into a late Georgian Cabinet house on a table with cabriole legs. I love Jane Austen and I also have the action figure. You have a lot of really interesting and clever features! It's so funny, a lot of the furniture styles you have, specifically the tables, my MIL has full size. I currently only work with the crap wood until I figure out what I am doing. I have some videos on my channel but half the things I film, I end up messing up and not using. 😅 I did succeed in hand carving an embroidery stand frame and will be posting this soon. Your studio looks like mine except mine is in my open concept living space until we move in May....
@@feffiescottage i probably don't need to say this, but don't buy an opened kit. I've been burned more than once. I even saw a seller the other day trying to sell a box of crap wood as the nursery kit. Those of us who know the kits, know there is never a piece of 1 inch ( or bigger) wood in a true kit. I will only buy a factory sealed kit. With 1 exception. I'll buy the kitchen kit opened, if I can see the parts. I just finished my 3rd kitchen. Lol
Very nice! Very talented to use a mini lathe! Just remember old houses have crooked walls, bookcases etc. it adds to their charm! ;)

This house is really beautiful!!!
Wow, nice work. I always feel like I am in my own little world when I work on miniatures. I love it.
The cabinets are amazing!
I really like how you designed the inside. The little touches like the small floor tiles and small drawers etc... add so much.
I love your house, and how you used the space under the stairs is perfect. Well done.
I'm currently developing a kit for a version of this staircase for any 9" ceiling.

@@feffiescottage you did a great job of making it all work and gave me so many good ideas. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next. 😊
My next endeavor is to turn a Duracraft Heritage my Mother-in-law gave me into a Regency-modified Tudor for Miss Wolfe.

Be sure to check out the updated tour I posted yesterday.
You did a great job!
First time watching your channel. The house is remarkable. Must say, Miss Huxley looks somewhat saucy.😀

@@feffiescottage Gotcha! Now I have the back story. Does Miss Huxley have the white hair?
I love it amazing!

EXCELLENT!
Lovley!
Real-life kits are awesome. A shame they went out of business. I have a stack of them
Me too. I grab them whenever I see them on ebay. They're really excellent quality.

@@swearenginlawanda That's a given. That works for Xacto kits too
Do You Buy the furniture ir You construct it?and do You sell ?
There is a mix of purchased pieces from Bespaq, some pieces made from kits, and pieces made by me.
Your fence is VERY well done..I see no need to change it…we’re always more self critical, I guess.
I already remade it. It's so much better.
@@feffiescottage oh o.k..well still hope you felt the compliment.
Thank you!
No cat?
I'm looking for the perfect one. Standards are high... wallet is thin.
