- I built my own asymmetric DIY dining table! I used MDF for the table top and achieved the marble look by using epoxy resin and acrylic paint for the DIY marble veining. For the table legs I used round concrete/cement cylinders and painted them gold. This is my very own DIY table and it was an awesome DIY room decor project for my kitchen / dining area.

@@cakerbaker9965 That, and the fact that they're painted doesn't hide the obvious spiral seam of the cardboard, making it look like a big, painted toiletpaper roll. I know for a fact that black shows up darker on camera and gold (or anything metallic/sparkly) is a common camera trick to distract the eye, so in real life it looks worse than it does on camera here.
I've no idea how you got onto my algorithm. I could give a hoot less about trying to build furniture. However I think is absolutely astonishing the things that you were able to create from your mind with simple tools and I have to commend you for that effort and give you the respect you deserve. Congratulations! This is absolutely something to be proud of and I'm so happy you found a passion to pursue!

I know exactly how you feel; as I’ve been there and I’m anxious to get back into it. Creating things from scratch and looking back at the accomplishment and saying to myself, that looks great and I did it myself. It’s so rewarding to actually have a creative hobby like that. If I ever get the money again I will get back into this rewarding hobby. Thank you for sharing.
