Every room is a process and it’s all starting to come together 🫶 so proud of you, love! You always find a way to create something beautiful for so much cheaper!
I love it! I do wish you would've added a center support for the table legs...maybe a hole through the center of the middle arches and a pipe with a couple of flanges drilled into the top and bottom arch. The weight of the table is mostly being supported by the brackets you added at the bottom, the vertical boards, and the center support. I just can't see that being very sturdy. Then again, I have kids, so I do have to take into consideration the table being leaned on and mistreated. Regardless of my 2 cents, it is beautiful & the fluting with the rug is a steal! I have a move coming up & I think I'm going to try this for my family dining table!
That came out amazingly!! Here's another dining room suggestion: a bar cabinet or cart or something to hold glassware and serveware for the dining room.
Tina, you are becoming such a DIY goddess!! Love the table and the tip for the bamboo rug was the chef's kiss on top of a giant sundae! Thank you and Brian for great content.
Absolutely gorgeous flip Tina, it looks stunning and those chairs are beautiful, great find 🙂 Perhaps a light hanging over the table (it would have to be a plug in) All the best to you both in your adventure from a cold and frosty UK 🥰😍
Thrifted the exact same table for about $30 😅 I kept the original design because I think the silhouette is timeless but it was super cool to see how you adapted the bones to your style!
The table looks really nice! Good job flipping it for such a good price, and the color suits it well! I’m especially in awe about those chairs they’re beautiful! I was drooling, you got a great deal on them!
One of my favorite things about Sundays is a Tina upload. As per usual you outdid yourself 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. I have a black table and buffet and it definitely shows dust more but I love them
When i was young my mom signed me up for The Weekly Reader Book Club. So much fun receiving those books. And thank God for the Book Mobile. Made my summers bearable back in the 60s. Thanks for your video. ps Your table looks great & the chairs are fantastic!
I have those rattan dining room chairs but they’re black-I saw someone else on your Facebook Marketplace page selling them for $499 dollars! And even those cream ones are listed for $350! 😨 I paid $175 for mine! And got 2 of the barstools that match for $140! Both styles were on major sale last summer on Amazon-and people out here trying to sell them for 2x or _3x_ what they actually paid. Oof, that’s _wild!_ Can’t believe I got them for such a *_steal!_* I absolutely love them and they all look great in our bardominium’s apartment-which is more of an industrial design! 😍 And funny enough, my mom has those wishbone chairs in the barstool style-she _IS_ wealthy, and probably paid a bundle for them! 🤭 Great find, Tina! The table turned out beautifully! It seriously _does_ look just _like_ the World Market table-it’s like you snapped your fingers, like, Mary Poppins, and it just showed up at your house! Kidding, of course, I know, you worked hard to achieve the look you wanted, and let me just say, girlfriend, you *_achieved it!_* Been going through a lot this past week, but catching up on your videos as taken my mind off of losing one of my fur babies-glad I had several of your videos to catch up on…you’ve been the only TH-camr whose content has taken my mind off of that and actually helped me to smile and laugh for a few hours. Merry Christmas, Tina! [& Brian, too] Hope your Holidays are bright and cherry-just like you! ❤️🫶🏻💚
That's because some of them are just copies of original design. The Wegner Y chair costs around $420 pr. chair. The ones in this video are just copies .
this came out great! if you fancy doing a smaller project you could DIY some placemats and a table runner? I'd love to see that. Maybe some candle sticks too, to finish off the dining area vibe :)
@@tinalemac I’ve just inherited a mid century modern dining room table that extends and six chairs. U love them but they need minor restoration and something different done to the chairs (so boring). Isn’t there somewhere i can send you a pic to show you?
I am so happy for you-also jelly- that you found those chairs! And the table looks amazing! Thank you so much for rhe bamboo rug idea! So stealing that ❤
Loved the table! I would have liked that you would have wrapped the flat side of the legs with the fluted finish as well. I feel it would have looked even better.
Genius idea with the rug! I think that is what I’m going to do instead of individually putting slacks of wood on my wall I’m going to use this bamboo rug thank you Tina!
Love the make over, dining room table looks fantastic. I think the legs on your picnic/work table should extend a few more inches so you don't have to hunch over. OR You could use the base of the table you flipped for the base of a worktable!?!
Hi Tina you always have some great ideas in doing your makeover when finished it turns out awesome, just a areas rug and it will definitely be a beautiful dining area 👍🏻 👍🏻 for you Brian is awesome he's always a supportive husband blessings to both of you thanks for sharing your awesome videos.
I honestly dont know which I love more the table or chairs. I also love this style of table but i couldnt pay that much for a table! I might try and make one... maybe 🤞
You two made out on easy street with those chairs. Tina, I love the look and style, gorgeous! Now, I have to let you know that the white coat is still visible. Next time, opt for a darker base like gray or lean into your color. 😘 Tina, another stunner. Many blessings ❣️
We have been blessed to inherit some beautiful antique furniture over the years. But as much as I love my furniture, I will admit I had some FOMO watching you make this gorgeous, more modern table!! I do have a question, I would like to refresh the wood on these antiques, and I have seen some products online..... but the reviews are so mixed. Any suggestions on what product I could use? Thank you SO much. Also, the bamboo rug you used comes in lots of different sizes. I'm thinking about using them in my master bath!
Hi Tina, nice table and chairs but honestly I don't think its practical considering that the 2nd person sitting on the longer side cant have his /her both legs comfortably fitted under the table plus on the shorter side a person's legs will keep hitting the table legs.... dinning table should be a very comfortable relaxing piece of furniture since the eating experience is important. without being uncomfortable... just an observation , would be interesting to know if my theory is correct, cheers!
Hi Tina, you truly amazed me with your talent. Can you please share what type of surface (light green) that you are using as you cut the wood with your jigsaw??
I love it Tina! I did have an idea from the Wander house you stayed in and I can't remember if I commented on that video. When I saw those cabinets in the opening I thought how pretty they looked and that you had put peel & stick wallpaper on them to bring out the warm tones we love. Could be an upcoming video? There is always Good gone.

I think you need a rug to ground the space to give it its own space in an open floor plan.
Yesss, definitely! Adding in a rug and everything else the makeover 👌🏼👌🏼
Stunning flip, Tina! Black and that beautiful wood tone look great together. Can’t wait to see more! 🥰
Thank you, Jenny!! I’m excited to finally pull this space altogether 💛
That came out amazingly!!
Here's another dining room suggestion: a bar cabinet or cart or something to hold glassware and serveware for the dining room.
You can adhere the pole wrap with magnets so you can use the supports as storage under the table.
I love this idea. We have downsized homes, so I need extra storage any where I can find it!!
Oh, I love this idea, it's genius!!
I came to say the same thing 😂
Tina, you are becoming such a DIY goddess!! Love the table and the tip for the bamboo rug was the chef's kiss on top of a giant sundae! Thank you and Brian for great content.
Wow so creative to use the flute from a rug! 🤯 looks gorgeous!
Thank you!! I honestly can’t believe how well it worked! Excited to use it again 👏🏼
I hope you keep all 6 chairs. You're sure to make friends there!
Absolutely gorgeous flip Tina, it looks stunning and those chairs are beautiful, great find 🙂 Perhaps a light hanging over the table (it would have to be a plug in) All the best to you both in your adventure from a cold and frosty UK 🥰😍
You did a great job of the table and the chairs are a bargain seeing they were brand new.Your new home is really looking beautiful now 🥰
I am planning to refinish a dining room table and you have opened my vision to so many more options!
Yes! Drew on his Lonefox channel DIYing the billy book case was epic!
Great job on the table!
That bamboo rug hack is genius!!
Omg!!!!! You have no idea how long I’ve been looking for an alternative to pole wrap 😅😅 thank you
Thrifted the exact same table for about $30 😅 I kept the original design because I think the silhouette is timeless but it was super cool to see how you adapted the bones to your style!
Such a fantastic result--looks great and definitely sophisticated.
Table looks so good, definite win
The table looks really nice! Good job flipping it for such a good price, and the color suits it well!

Love the combination of black and wood on the chairs. Great style.
That turned out really well! The chairs were a great choice and find.
Great flip and looks amazing. I think a rug would finish the space nicely
this came out great! if you fancy doing a smaller project you could DIY some placemats and a table runner? I'd love to see that. Maybe some candle sticks too, to finish off the dining area vibe :)
Love the table! The rug seems like an awesome alternative to polewrap!

Brilliant dupe Tina!
Genius idea with the rug! I think that is what I’m going to do instead of individually putting slacks of wood on my wall I’m going to use this bamboo rug thank you Tina!
This turned out so good!
Absolutely gorgeous, great DIY. I see these tables everywhere and they look so cool, but the ends leave no leg room, literally none.
You did an amazing job with this! Looks stunning at the end
You knock it out the park gorgeous!
Turned out way cool! May be a good idea to seal it with a poly finish to prevent scratching to the paint.
It all turned out beautiful! Great job! 👏🏽
Love the make over, dining room table looks fantastic.
I think the legs on your picnic/work table should extend a few more inches so you don't have to hunch over.
OR
You could use the base of the table you flipped for the base of a worktable!?!
All 6 chairs fit, I'd keep them; you can always put a chair in a spare room as a side chair. This turned out really nice and the score on the chairs!

11:49 Tina singing ASMR Lover by Rupaul has me cracking up 😂 that song always gets stuck in my head too 😂
I’m so glad you found a pole wrap dupe!!! I’ve been wanting to do pole wrap on my closet but the price tag was just too steep
That is gorgeous! Great job.
Looks sensational 🫶🏻🤍🫶🏻
Beautiful idea, great space!!
The target wishbone chairs would have been a jam too!

You two made out on easy street with those chairs. Tina, I love the look and style, gorgeous! Now, I have to let you know that the white coat is still visible. Next time, opt for a darker base like gray or lean into your color. 😘 Tina, another stunner. Many blessings ❣️
I think you did AMAZING ❤
The chairs are the same color as the original table color, but look so good with that darker color.
That is so beautiful and clever ❤😊the rug was genius ❤😊
