We wore flack vest in Vietnam. They had ceramic plates that would stop shrapnel and if you were lucky, deflect rounds. You lived and slept with it on, just like your boots, in the boondocks.

Well you don’t really bring your own stuff when you’re playing a role in a movie they just give you stuff anyway not to keep it to use in the movie and it really depends on his acting skills
Man, I'd totally use these tips, becouse it looks amazing, but... I'm a WW2 German reenactor and all my fragile gear is on my back/butt, so I can't. I wish German gear didn't break this easily :v PS.I'd appreciate if you included falling forward and dying when laying on the ground, it'd help me out a lot :P
Kuba Grajewski haha fragile WWII equipment. That’s why I’m a WWI reenactor. I can fall pretty hard on most areas because only hard part is my canteen which is thunk as hell, my shovel and bayonet are on my side more so I can fall pretty hard
t's good for cinema. In order to obtain a complete study, some training is needed. Here the Stanislavski method should be used. First, the human anthony must be well known. Second, you have to train your body. Any object can be used: chemical, airsoft bullet, and more. Track and remember the primary reaction and movements of your body. Then imagine that you lose your strength and fall. Third, practice how to fall, so you do not get hurt. It is very important that your imagination helps you to recreate such scenes. I will only remind you that if the hit is not in a vital organ / heart, head, kidney /, a person does not die immediately. It's good to be recreated and explained by you in your next videos. If you know a stuntman, he'll explain and show you everything. I think that's enough for now. I admit that I still liked the video. One of you includes decent good acting. You must make a sequel with new hits, with other weapons, and so on. Of course, I'll be glad to see the short films created by you, unless videos of reenactments. You can always grow your business: videos of reenactments, airsoft, short films, training films ...This will give you popularity. Good luck and expect the next video.
Me; supposed to be working but this is more educational so I’ll spend the day binge watching your videos. These looked great and done well, I could feel the hit through the screen. The double and throat hit both made me jump even though I knew they were coming.
I loved this video full of humor till the end I subscribed keep up the good work guys i give this video 5 stars ✨ this video was so much better than I expected 👍🏼👍🏼
Just a heads up, there is already a "Reenactor Guy" on youtube. He does mostly German WW2 reenacting but I would maybe look into a different name to avoid confusion.
Can you or anyone in the comments tell me where the best place to get the gear they have? I’m 6’5 and I can’t find a whole lot in my size excepts boots.
ik this is a sorta old video but if anyone knows where he got his m16a1, can you give me a link. Also i really need the short 20round mag not the extended ones
Hayden Sewell you don't mainly because it is expensive and hard to do also the gear is expensive as fuck it is about 50 pounds for a pair of trousers or a shirt hope I could help
Captain Ghost as do we. But in the past few years getting the real weapons for Vietnam has been an expensive endeavor. So in the beginning we used airsoft guns.
If I may make a suggestion, you are missing your bug juice , a tooth brush, and smokes on your helmet. Oh, and your boot knife. Got pic of my uncle who was a Marine at Khe Sahn, in '68 that had that stuff on his "steel pot".
Well my old man wore "tiger stripes" no steel pot ,no rank and no ID patches, he was there in 67- 69 . He told me "grunts wore the typical uniform where guys like my Dad, he was LRRP wore another, but to me they still were classic Vietnam era uniforms. And better looking than todays uniforms.
the stuff that guys put on their helmets was their own personal preference. none of that was required to be on anyones helmet. many Marines didn't even have helmet bands on their helmets.
I would greatly appreciate if you would change your screen name. I'm not sure if you did this to be spiteful, but I will give you the chance to change it and not bring TH-cam Admin into this.
