= I'm assuming that ALL of your "other" BATTERIES in the Battery RACK must be switched "OFF"
with the "ON / OFF" switch & the Circuit Breaker ???
and it appears that your CAT-5 Cables are still inter-CONNECTED from one Battery to Another ?
...
it would help if you showed >MORE detail on the Battery pictures & details on each PROCESS

Yes you are right. All the other batteries should be off. Set that address switch to zero on the battery you are going to update. Then do the update and remember to set the address back to what it was then turn it off.

what issue does this solve? It seems like I'm having an issue where then BMS shuts my batteries off even before hitting the max discharge of 100A.

It allows the 18kpv to communicate with lifepower4 batteries.
