Or something you can fix up on a day where it's busy. Especially if your not the fastest cook. I find it easy to chop vegetables a few hours or the night before you start Everything else.
Ms Liz Morg yep I do it all the time. I chop vegetables the night before and just throw it in the crock pot the next morning. I love coming home from work and the burden of cooking off my shoulders for the night and if I’m lucky, leftovers!
This makes a ton! I slow cooked the chicken separately first because I was worried the tomato sauce would burn. Added it about 2 hours before serving. That was the only change I made to the method. This was tasty!
Made this recipe but I cooked my chicken a little before I put it in the crockpot just to give it that seared flavor and it was awesome with garlic bread on the side! Thank you for this recipe I have also started flavoring my chicken/hamburger with red or yellow curry with my usual herbs and spices I feel that it’s a great marriage for any pasta dish
I love all of your recipes! I am a pregnant momma with 3 hungry boys all in sports and these meals save our weekly bellies and budget! Thank you 😊 👌👌👏👏
I just found your channel and I LOVE IT! You give us the recipe in the description, you don't gab and talk all the way through it and your recipes are so amazing! Keep up the great work! I am a new subbie here and already a big fan of your channel!!!!
I loved your enchilada chili recipe. Now I'm going try this one out today. 😊 All we have here in the barracks is a microwave and a mini fridge so my slow cooker has been my life saver lol.
Just made this and enjoyed it, so many thanks for video. Unfortunately for me my mozzarella was out of date and now in bin, and I never had any tomato sauce. I substituted with a jar of pizza base sauce and a tin of chopped tomatoes. I grated some mature cheddar and thankfully I did have Parmesan. No problem though, it was scrumptious. I had enough leftovers for two more meals which I put in ziplock bags and put in freezer for a later in the week. Only having to cook for one comes in very handy when you don’t want to cook😂😂🇬🇧
Sorry if I got a little testy with your video. The ads were a bit much to get around to the recipe. It looks delish and I will definitely try tomorrow. Thanks for posting.
I made this a couple weeks ago, and I liked it, but, I would recommend putting the cheese on individual servings. That way everyone gets cheese on theirs. Cause after you eat the top there is no cheese in the middle.
WOW!!! That looks amazing!! Just put my chicken in the slow cooker now.. .I'm gonna try it with 100% organic rice pasta.. Just need to make sure that I am up at 1:00 am so I can cook my pasta and get it done.... Can't wait to try it....
I followed the instructions to a T; only I didn't have any parmesan cheese(I used shredded Mozzarella).... I really enjoyed it when it was freshly cooked.. But if you put the leftovers in the fridge it turns out 'REALLY DRY" the next day... So FRESH--YES; LEFTOVERS--NO.....
This looks so amazing!!!!! My wife and I are having my mother over for dinner and she lives very far away. Anyways, my wife found this video somehow and showed me it so........ guess what we're making for dinner???? I think we will have this for dinner at least twice a week or more for EVER!!!!! It looks so delicious!!!! Thank you so very much for the recipe!
Oh no problem! You totally deserve it and then some! :) So far it's turning out great! Haven't cooked the noodles yet but we're 2 and a half hours into cooking it. We used thin sliced chicken breasts so should we still be cooking it for the full 4 hours or should we just cook it until it's temp reaches 170 degrees f? Thanks again!
That was AMAZING!!!! You wouldn't believe the comments we got from my mom!!!!! She was so surprised how delicious and how great it looked! For my wife and me, that was the best meal I have truly had in well, forever! I can honestly say I have never had something that tasted so good like that! I got my wife to make it again last night! Hahaha! I can't get enough of it!!! I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for that recipe and video! We are going to continue watching your videos and using your ideas! Thanks again!
Autoglass1961 yes but please this is not the correct way to make this dish i can ensure you that sauce that she just bought at the grocery store and she didn’t season taste bland. if you’re gonna use store bought sauce... put it in a pot, add some dried basil some s&p and it will increase the flavor 10 fold.
Thank you for letting people know how it turned out. I read reviews to find out from other people how the recipe turned out and am surprised by how many people write “wow, this looks delicious. Can’t wait to try sometime...”
Tried this yesterday and it was so good everyone I made it for loved it ! . I have a question about the chicken could I throw in diced chicken the next time if so how long will I do it for will it be roughly the same time or a little less. Ps please make an easy chicken curry to follow. 😊😊 love this channel .
Hi Debs! if the chicken was diced you can get away with 5-6 hours. I diced the chicken in my chicken spaghetti recipe, worked great. www.themagicalslowcooker.com/slow-cooker-creamy-chicken-spaghetti/
Exellent! I would never thought of using chicken instead of mince, and I dont like beef really. SO I cant wait to try this recipe. It says cook on high. I am new to slow cooking does it matter what cooker you have? Or is high ok for any? Thank you. If I make this I might video it and link to your recipe :)
Hi Priscilla. As long as it's a slow cooker I believe high should work for you. One thing about slow cooker is to keep the lid on the entire cooking time, otherwise heat and moisture escapes.
Jazzy Love in the video description there is a link to the recipe (or the entire recipe in my newest videos) www.themagicalslowcooker.com/slow-cooker-chicken-parmesan-and-pasta//

Coming a bit late to this. I was gifted a Crock-pot, so I couldn't wait to try it. I saw this recipe and decided to give it a go. It came out good, but it was a bit bland. Anything I might have done wrong?
You could try adding a touch of salt to each serving. Otherwise, for next time you can add more seasonings before you start cooking to suit your taste.
I’m trying this right now so far it’s looking and smelling great but I’ve had my cheese on the slow cooker high setting for about 20 mins and the cheese is hardly melting . I have a crockpot , any suggestions as to how to get the cheese to melt faster ?
@@TheMagicalSlowCooker I'm making this tomorrow night. Picked up everything today and will start it tomorrow before I leave for the day. Will set it on low for 10 hours

I would add it at the end on the top (season it a bit with salt pepper and oregano) then top with the cheese.

Should you leave the crockpot on high for the cheese to melt or just cover on the "Keep warm" setting?

No, I don't put raw pasta in because it gets gummy and chalky.
that makes sense :)
