I would think so. I totally left out the air filter check though!!! Can’t believe I didn’t think about putting that part in! I was too focused on detailed oil change process.
Dang air filters are pretty easy specially yours just snatch that side cover off and shes right there. Gas gas could have done alittle better seal job of that cover but it’s not to bad just can’t leave in the rain
Hey buddy, nice bike! I love the video on the oil change. I just bought a 2023 gas gas 250EC Two stroke. Your video was extremely helpful. Could you do more videos on maintenance, I.e changing the coolant or what other simple things you can do to save the life of your bike. I want to be able to do these things myself so I do not have to take it to the shop whenever I need something done. Thank you so much! One more thing my 250EC two stroke has had a loud rattle from the very first startup, every other video I have seen with the same bike or the 300EC, or any gas gas for that matter has had this rattle. I tried to listen to your bike in your videos and it sounds like you have the rattle too but not nearly as loud as mine. I called the dealership and they said that the rattle was normal and that these bikes were loud. What is your opinion or thoughts on this matter? Thank you so much for your help sir.
I too have noticed a little bit of a raspy noise here and there coming from the motor as it’s running. I basically just chalked it up to normal friction and parts wear! These motors have alot of compression so that piston is scraping the cylinder walls everytime it goes up and down ever so slightly.
@@BabyRicaxO I know it’s sounds like something you’ve heard a million times but the user manual does have a lot of the recommendations for scheduled maintenance the pertains to your bike specifically! But there’s some things that are a given. Brakes, fluids, clutch plates, and top end eventually, are all things that will need to be replaced at some point on a bikes lifetime!
@@BabyRicaxO but your bike is so new man tbh I’d only worry about keeping the fluids swapped ( mainly oil is the most needy ) your coolant is fine for like the first 100 - 50 hours or so and your brake and clutch hydraulic fluids should be good for 100 hours or so. I haven’t changed mine yet but getting close!! I’ve probably put about 50-60 hours on mine so far. Maybe 🤔 lol I need to get an hour meter.
hello, i just bought this exact same bike in the spring. i purchased oil change supplies and he sold me 2 liters of oil. the kits like you have are just one. did the one bottle handle it for you? im on 2022 ex 205f
We must hear back from this “Santa”
I was hoping he would’ve commented by now 🤷🏼♂️
This was a very good detailed maintenance video Santa will approve

Yeah the capacity is only 1L
Is 10w 50 oil the best one for gas gas mc250f
I’m not sure which is best for the MC version of the 250. I’d imagine it’s the same as the EX.
Whatever the manufacturer/ owners manual recommends.
the oil screen can go in both ways?
I do believe it can bc both sides are the same diameter. But I wouldn’t quote me on that.
whats the copper washer size?
Not completely sure on the size. They always give me the same one in the same kit I buy.
