It’s interesting how your first reaction was how the flight plate had give and the rim didn’t, it was the first thing I noticed when mine came in haha. Also for whatever reason the Electron Soft one that I’ve got needs like a 6 glide rating, thing just goes!
Ordered 3x Special Edition Electron Soft Pixels in black and a low weight Polecat on Infinite when they went on sale Thursday at midnight. Should arrive tomorrow. Got the same Pixel locally and threw it a bit yesterday. I wish it was softer, i dont think it will beat my current putter, a classic soft Judge but it flies nice for a thrower.
@calebtucker8187 it's definitely my grip. I actually hold my putters to throw very similar to my power grip. Feels bad with my Nomads but great with the envy! I see some people describe the envy as almost between a putter and a mid range which I guess could explain why it handles me throwing it with a power grip
@@artem_mma you might try a modified fan grip. I call mine the modified power grip because it's just a touch of fanning from the power grip. I was exclusively power grip for years until I tried this, and it's given me more control with no loss in speed. 🙂
3:50 when you said "open the hand" are you telling yourself to open your hand or not to open your hand? I ask because recently during putting practice I've started doing something new that kind of just came to me randomly. It's basically a looser grip on the disc, letting the disc fly out of my hand with a sort of "open hand" approach if you will. I've researched a ton of stuff on disc golf and form and what not, but this came to me randomly while practicing... so curious if thats what you meant, and if so if you were telling yourself to do it, or not to do it.
They redid the mold to make it a bit shallower after everyone's first reaction was that it was too deep lol. They only changed it a tiny amount though.
Picked up a Pixel the other day and am contemplating replacing my Wizard. I was hitting the band on practice puts with that higher glide. My special edition Pixel is just so aesthetic, but feel like I can't bring myself to switch. Like I'm cheating on a girlfriend if I switched. Keep up the great content.

I got to throw mine today, and it is the straightest disc I have ripped on in a long time. I doubt it will replace my P1s as putting putters though.
