I've watched all your videos! I don't even work on too many laptops or computers these days, but I love to watch other people do it, its so impressive, even though a lot of these laptop screens are just clipped on and screwed in! I feel motived to get more stuff to fix again :D keep it up
Adamant IT , Dear My Laptop running is very well! But My Mistake is starting setup boot option change hard Disk Drive to select top 1 Usb Disk Drive , then Restart this pc! Then it's Problem " Operating system not found " otherwise My hard disk Running well.
Adamant IT ' But Now Setup is not open, How to starting setup open now! I tried hard, but Setup is not show. Please help for this solution! Thank you for your reply.
In your video you are showing the removal of the keyboard to get access to hard drive, why not gain access after removing the back screws and the back cover-would not be easier that way? I am curious. Please let me know. Thanks
The bottom cover are one part in this particular laptop smh you can tell just by looking at it. This would almost always be the case if the laptop is designed to be opened from the top side.
My acer is showing me this message operating system not found and it won't work at all that error happens when Microsoft did their software update it won't work again after the restart i don't want to loose the photos and files on it what can i do to fix that problem and how i get these photos and files from my acer aspire v5?! I appreciate your response.
@@hadifelani Now that you say that, it makes perfect sense from an engineering and design perspective. Just never occurred to me. I also never really appreciated the fact that it was considered "thin".
All laptop's hdd sockets (beyond 2010) are SATA3. The optical drive socket, in the other hand, some still use SATA2. If you're not sure, just use the hdd socket. And swap out the hdd to the drive caddy (also if you opt to remove the optical drive).
Hi tech newbie here.I got a question, will i have to do some clone thingy(i see alot of people doing it for some reason)if i switch my hdd with a ssd and put hdd into a caddy or can i just use it like normal after replacing it
The thing is,i dont wanna transfer any files onto my ssd,can i just install the ssd into my laptop and just use it as an extra storage?Or do i Have to do the clone thing.(btw what does clone means and how does it work?)Thanks for the fast reply too
Dang i think i'll just try to clone lol.The clean slate option doesnt look to safe tbh.I'll just try to search up some tutorials on how to clone,do you happen to have a tutorial for it?
FINALLY, someone doing on of these tutorials who actually talks to help us out properly! Thank you.

Thanks for this video, it was perfect, replaced the HDD for a crucial ssd. Worked a treat. Cheers
Is it much faster because the standard HDD makes this tablet laptop pretty unusable 💩
Thank you for the video, this helped me put an SSD in mine.

Some would even have the motherboard facing towards the keyboard.
Oh how I wish it worked that way, but it doesn’t.

that looks like an enormous amount of work just to upgrade to an SSD. I've been spoiled by working on desktop computers, I guess.
All 'thin' laptops will have some extra works to have it open tho 🤷. This particular laptop is quite thin back then.
