    Physical therapists and sports medics are like S tier in the medical field to me because you guys are like mechanics for the body, you actually make adjustments and repairs on the human body by hand

    My wife is a D.O Doctor just did the manipulation on my foot and got my pain to go away immediately.. I still have some inflamación.. thanks for uploading this video... I was not able to put pressure on my foot flat. Only doing a twist and put all pressure on the outside of my foot when walking.. I missed-align it doing a workout..

    How painful is the manipulation. Ugh .. I fell 2 months ago and can’t hardly walk and I might have this issue. I have CRPS so I’m definitely very scared of the pain yet if it’s what I need done can I take something that would relax me?

    • @deborahraaen3059
      @deborahraaen3059 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was diagnosed with CRPS too, and after a year with terrible pain even up my leg from the tension building up I became convinced this had bern the problem all along. I found doing breathing exercises and putting magnesium oil on my foot and taking it internally helped my pain enough for a manual therapist to fo a massage to release the bone. It is slowly improving. My cuboid was pronated though! Felt instant relief and could put weight on my foot straight away. But it hurt like hell that evening and 2 days afterwards. Still in pain but it is slowly subsiding. Hope this can help you. CRPS sucks! Good luck!

    Ok I think I have this . I had a real bad spring and didn't see the doctor. It comes and go's . But when it hurts it hurts to stand move or walk . Is this common with injuries? I played football for along time and is this a thing that can happen.

    Could cuboid pain be caused by multiple attacks of gout over multiple months?

    • @josuenunez6215
      @josuenunez6215 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Would the pain receded upon moving the foot and then flair back up at night when no motion is given to the foot?

      Gout can be a contributing factor to your pain experience however we cannot reduce it to simply that. For any personal health or rehab questions we recommend to consult with our partners at yourphysio.online for a remote physiotherapy consultation.

    The best thing you can do for cuboid syndrome is go to the pool and swim laps. If you can’t swim use a kick board and kick laps. Your cuboid pain will magically disappear.

  • @youtubegang9583

    What if the pain came from cuneiform bone ?

    • @Physiotutors
      @Physiotutors  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      then it's definitely not cuboid syndrome, as pain has to be lateral.
      You can assess that with a roll-glide technique for the cuneiforms
