I love through periods of silience quite content that it is there. Its ok. What matters is whether that makes me insecure or not. I relate to doubting Thomas....its not a bad place to be because you question. Thomas knew God was real.....but also had real questions. And real questions need space rather than quick cliche answers that dont satisfy. Persevere.....your understanding at any point of time doesnt change Gods existence or care. Be careful of feelings.
Something similar happen to me in 2015. I was in a deep depression and hit the bottom of the barrel, ask Him for help with all my heart then it happen instantly. Felt like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders, my depression symptoms disappear instantly and was filled with an amazing feeling of peace and love.
When I was younger I had to go to the ER for something and was devastated by what the dr told me. When the dr left I cried out to God and all of a sudden all my stress, fear, worry and anger where taken away. I truly felt peace that surpasses all understanding and it stayed with me through getting healed. God is good all the time. Give him a chance.., what do you have to loose?

Jesus healed me! I was suffering horrifying pain. On the daily. Arthritic pain and misery. I kept asking Jesus to heal me and instantly a video popped up about the source of my pain. I didn’t want to watch this video because I was knowledgeable in this area already. But I was told to read the comments. The video was about my thyroid meds. Levothoxin . The comment that stood out said ...I can’t take levothoxin it causes me such horrible arthritis pain. Now I had been on these meds for 2 1/2 years so I never put the connection together. But Jesus put it IN MY FACE! I stopped taking those meds. And the pain stopped . Within 2 days I was pain free. Nobody or nothing can tell me that was NOT Jesus. Because IT WAS!
Many people have cried out like that and DIDN'T get an answer or feel peace supernaturally... But getting peace and confidence is just a matter of choice.

When I was younger I had to go to the ER for something and was devastated by what the dr told me. When the dr left I cried out to God and all of a sudden all my stress, fear, worry and anger where taken away. I truly felt peace that surpasses all understanding and it stayed with me through getting healed. God is good all the time.

I had an overwhelming and beautiful experience with Christ when accepting Him as my Lord and Savior. But I'm Catholic and still, believe it or not, a born again Christian. There's a subtle "dig" at Catholics in this video that saddens me. In this day and age, those who love God should stick together. My conversion experience was, like this man, over the top. But God called me to remain Catholic.

Jesus healed me! I was suffering horrifying pain. On the daily. Arthritic pain and misery. I kept asking Jesus to heal me and instantly a video popped up about the source of my pain. I didn’t want to watch this video because I was knowledgeable in this area already. But I was told to read the comments. The video was about my thyroid meds. Levothoxin . The comment that stood out said ...I can’t take levothoxin it causes me such horrible arthritis pain. Now I had been on these meds for 2 1/2 years so I never put the connection together. But Jesus put it IN MY FACE! I stopped taking those meds. And the pain stopped . Within 2 days I was pain free. Nobody or nothing can tell me that was NOT Jesus. Because IT WAS!
