I am going thru some of the same as Joan. I am a born again believer and I have CFS, autoimmune disease, toxic mold exposure among other infirmities. I have been praying for years for God to help me to surrender so I can find His love and forgiveness. I know He loves me and forgives me, but my heart got hard from letting heartbreak and the world get in my heart. I thought I had been repenting, but what I’m hearing Joan say is that I need to keep repenting and not stop and to get to the place of surrender to Him, whether He heals me or not. Lord hear my prayer. 🙏🏻

Yet in this world that still requires an understanding of what that "relationship" entails. The group is LGBT+ friendly, but rejects reproductive choice. It pretends war crimes aren't being committed either. That does not speak well of their integrity I'm afraid.

I fell a few years ago n landed on My Knees , As a Christian I know the Enemy will attack anywhere anytime anything . Doctors told me I had a right knee torn miniscus I didn’t accept it . I Declared myself healed in The Powerful Name of Jesus with Pain and Barely walking I am healed by FAITH . At My Church they Prayed For me . As weeks went by All pain had gone away !!!!!! Me too , Doc wanted to thank yank out my intestines , I saw it was bad , stage 4 when it was found , I said wate, let my God work , to be honest I had no idea how sick I was, I just knew it was a win , win situation , Hod heal me now , more. I had the same experience too of head to the bottom of my feet…it was an amazing experience. I am a gentile and the very evening I called my sister who had been praying for me that very day. I actually experienced this in a Christian bookstore. I had no idea it was Christian bookstore. It’s a long testimony but this is the first time I have heard the similarities, top of my head, to the bottom of my feet.

I don't understand Christianity.
Christians tell me Christianity is very different than Judaism. They tell me it is faith, not works. They tell me it is not the traditions of man, but sola scriptura (Bible only). They tell me forgiveness by Jesus is a gift; it is through grace. So why would a Christian repent? Isn't forgiveness a gift from grace? Aren't Christians automatically forgiven? Repenting is works, not faith. Repenting is something in the Jewish religion for Jews without Jesus.
Repent means we are sorry for our sins and acknowledge a rejection of our sins. You are overthinking the word Repent.

One very special friend of mine who is Jewish is my beloved friend, Sabrina Kaplan. I met Sabrina when I attended Mira Costa college in my early twenties. I took French class three times and failed each time! 😂 Sabrina and I took French together and she told me that there is a college called Kaplan University. For a long time I wondered what it would be like to be Jewish. I can tell you that being a Christian is not easy! You might wonder why I wrote all of this. Sabrina was one of my only friends who stuck by me when I needed a friend. My friend Briana Sloane is also Jewish and she stuck by me too. Her dad was a Christian and her mother was Jewish. Briana told me about her religion and she got baptized LDS Mormon when she was junior high school and she influenced me to get baptized.
I'll stop rambling about my life. YOU ARE A STRONG PEOPLE YOU Jewish people. I love that you were honest when you told God to come and take you! What an act of bravery and faith! Jesus loves a contrite (sincere) heart.

I read the Late Great Planet Earth too. And I read Isaiah and 11:11-12 about God gathering Israel and Judah from the four corners of the earth and that was happening before my eyes.

God is great. I've multiple doctors tell me they can't explain why I'm alive. While in the hospital for internal bleeding that could not be diagnosed as to source. I asked for a priest to give me the Last Rights. Today known as the sacrament of the sick.
The morning I received said sacrament my condition healed. No one could explain what happened.
As I was being transfered from ICU to a regilar wing of the hospital, the ICU nurse informed me that I had used over 20 units of blood and technically died 3 times while under her care.
God is good. God is great. My entire life has been repleat with multiple incidences where I would have beed expected to die. We die when God says its time for us to return to Him.

There must have been somewhat of a detour between the initial amazing cleansing and the mighty healing intervention. The restoring grace and truth of our risen Lord is the most amazing part of the story to me.

God is still in the miracle business! He healed me from what the doctor's said was incurable! At that time there were only 10,000 cases worldwide with 100% fatality rate. I was given at most 6 months to live. Well that was in 2003 when I was diagnosed. It's 2024 now and I'm still going strong. My doctor's ran all kinds of tests and they found nothing! I told them that Jesus is the ultimate physician and that He healed me, they could only agree that my recovery was and is a miracle! I give God All the Glory!
