You can never look to this world for comfort, it offers none. Only God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit can offer you comfort.

      Jesus Never Calls Himself God
The Bible (in spite of being changed and adulterated over time) contains many verses in which Jesus speaks of God as a separate person to himself. Here are just a few of them:.
When a man addressed Jesus as “Good Teacher”, he replied “Why do you call me good? No one is good except the one God.’’ [Mark 10:18]
In another instance he says: “I can’t do anything by myself. Whatever I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just. I don’t seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me.” [John 5:30]
Jesus speaks of God as a separate being to himself: I’m going up to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God. [John 20:17]
In this verse he affirms that he was sent by God: This is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent. [John 17:3]
If Jesus was God he would have told people to worship him, but he did the opposite and disapproved anyone worshipping him: And in vain they worship Me [Matthew 15:9]
If Jesus claimed to be God than there should be hundreds of verses in the Bible which would have mentioned it. But there is not a single verse in the entire Bible in which Jesus says I am God, worship me

I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Here Jesus Christ tells us who He is as God. .
Actually that's just one example I give you...
Get to know God and not religion of the world ... Satan is the ruler currently of the world and all it's religion until Christ returns to take it back. Pride is the marker of satan and his downfall (as well as his religion of this world).
Everyone in these religions will try to enter Heaven by their pride...
But no one will enter unless they trust Christ and His Gospel..
And love is the marker of the christian... Not certain clothes n religious rituals.
Btw Catholism is part of the world religion alongside islam and hinduism and on n on.
No one reaches Heaven by their own activities (this is pride and that's satan)
      Pride made the devil fall.....
Ask God who he is and not the world including parents and society...
Blind leads the blind and both fall into a ditch....
May God bless the scales to fall off your eyes soon...
Jesus is coming soon and trusting in Him is your only hope...
Btw, I seen this allah in a dream as the demonic being he really is "deceiver".
The Qur'an openly states many times that Allah is the 'best deceiver'. The Arabic word used here is "ماكر" "maakir", coming from the root m-k-r م-ك-ر, with the word Makr "مكر" meaning deception.
Shalom n peace through Jesus Christ 🌹

I was kidnapped at age 18.
While waiting for the man to return I bowed my head n prayed, I said something like " God, I haven't had a fam' yet." It was really a miracle as I knew this man was going to sexually assault me n probably kill me by his conversation, YET by the presence of Jesus Christ/ Holy Spirit I felt a warmth, comfort, peace and didn't screame, cry etc....none of that..
When he returned n learned over to kiss me I said, " No". He went back to driving n dropped me off at a safe place.
Point is this, WHEN I PRAYED THAT IS WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT and/ or angel showed up n the power of what seemed like God's army of angels showed up. The very real Presence of a mighty God manifested. If I had tried to run instead of trust in God I don't think I'd be here today writing in comments.

@@JoseRodriguez-dw9dv If jesus thought that he himself is God, why did not he say so? Instead, he stressed that God is one. The man who questioned Jesus understood this, and what the man says next makes it clear that God is not Jesus, for he said to Jesus: “‘Well said, teacher,’ the man replied. ‘You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.’” (Mark 12:32).
Now if Jesus was God, he would have told the man so. Instead, he let the man refer to God as someone other than Jesus, and he even saw that the man had spoken wisely: “When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, ‘You are not far from the kingdom of God.’” (Mark 12:34). If Jesus knew that God is a trinity, why did not he say so? Why did not he say that God is one in three, or three in one? Instead, he declared that God is one. True imitators of Jesus will imitate him also in this declaration of God’s oneness. They will not add the word three where Jesus never said it.

I became evil after my childhood experience, and the lord came into my life showed me what I had done, showed me who I was meant to be, now when I look back, I feel shame and confusion. The lord watched me suffer while loosing everything and everyone in my life all at once. Then he slowly began to work on me as I cried out to him as this is not what I ever wanted to be, not even close but my actions spoke louder than words I needed to understand what, how, why and when, only when collapsing and completely and honestly giving myself to Jesus did I begin to get my answers, it helped me to begin healing and begin a journey that started a lifetime ago. Yet, the lord brings me a peace in the process of this change which has so far been a 7 year journey of discovery and understanding. The lord loves us, and scolds us and guides us, If we will only listen. I love you lord , I thank you Jesus for your sacrifice, I pray all souls find their way through you to become what you meant us to be.

I declined due to my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and (heart disease).I’m on a bunch of medications. I’ve worked in the hospital for over 14 years. I’m so ashamed and embarrassed over my situation. I’m a single mother with two beautiful autistic children. My husband passed away over three years ago. I am all alone. I’m struggling trying my best to provide for boys. Every month I’m in fear of facing homelessness because every month is a struggle coming up with my rent. It is only because of the kindness of strangers we still have our home. I have been put down and mocked on youtube just for asking for prayers. I just feel the weight of the world coming down on me. I’m feeling so beat down. I know God will keep me and my children safe! In Jesus’s name. I believe! Faith over fear!

@@andreamackay7434 Son of God’ is a term used in ancient Hebrew for a righteous person. God calls Israel his ‘son’: This is what the LORD says: Israel is my oldest son.[Exodus 4:22]. Also, David is called the ‘Son of God’: The LORD has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.’ [Psalm 2:7]. In fact anyone who is righteous is referred to as God’s ‘son’: All who are led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons and daughters. [Romans 8:14].
In the same way, when the word ‘Father’ is used to refer to God it shouldn’t be taken literally. Instead it’s a way of saying God is the creator, sustainer, cherisher etc. There are many verses for us to understand this symbolic meaning of the word ‘Father’, for example: one God and Father of all. [Ephesians 4:6].
Jesus is sometimes called ‘Lord’ by the disciples. ‘Lord’ is a term used for God and also for people who are held in high esteem. There are many examples of the word ‘Lord’ being used for people in the Bible: So they (Joseph’s brothers) went up to Joseph’s steward and spoke to him at the entrance to the house. “We beg your pardon, our lord,” they said. [Genesis 43:19-20]. Also, in other parts of the Bible, Jesus is even called a ‘servant’ of God by the disciples: the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. [Acts 3:13]. This clearly shows that when ‘Lord’ is used to refer to Jesus, it is a title of respect not of divinity.
      3. The Nature of Jesus
The nature of Jesus was totally different to that of God. There are many parts of the Bible that highlight this difference in nature:
God is All-Knowing but Jesus by his own admission was not All-Knowing. This can be seen in the following passage when Jesus says “But nobody knows when that day or hour will come, not the heavenly angels and not the Son. Only the Father knows.” [Matthew 24:36]
God is independent and he doesn’t need sleep, food or water. Jesus however ate, drank, slept and depended on God: As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father. [John 6:57]. Another sign of Jesus’ dependence on God is that he prayed to God: Going a little farther, he (Jesus) fell with his face to the ground and prayed [Matthew 26:39]. This shows that Jesus himself sought help from God. God, being the one who answers prayers does not need to pray to anyone. Also, Jesus said: I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than me. [John 14:28].

The following are nine scientific facts found in the Quran:
      1. Origin of Life
Water is essential for all living things. We all know that water is vital to life but the Quran makes a very unusual claim:
We made every living thing from water? Will they not believe? (Quran 21:30)
In this verse water is pointed out as the origin of all life. All living things are made of cells. We now know that cells are mostly made up of water[3]. For example, 80% of the cytoplasm (basic cell material) of a standard animal cell is described as water in biology textbooks.
      2. Iron
Iron is not natural to the earth. It did not form on the earth but came down to earth from outer space. This may sound strange but it’s true. Scientists have found that billions of years ago the earth was stuck by meteorites. These meteorites were carrying Iron from distant stars which had exploded[4].
The Quran says the following on the origin of Iron:
“We sent down Iron with its great inherent strength and its many benefits for humankind.” (Quran 57:25)
God uses the words ‘sent down’ for Iron. It is clear from the verse that Iron is not an earthly material, but was sent down for the benefit of humanity. The fact that Iron came down to earth from outer space is something which could not be known by the primitive science of the 7th century.
      3. Sky’s Protection
The sky plays a crucial role in protecting the earth. The sky protects the earth from the lethal rays of the sun. If the sky did not exist then the sun’s radiation would have killed off all life on earth. It also acts like a blanket wrapped around the earth, to protect it from the freezing cold of space. The temperature just above the sky is approximately -270oC. If this temperature was to reach earth then the planet would freeze over instantly. The sky also protects life on earth by warming the surface through heat retention (greenhouse effect), and reducing temperature extremes between day and night[5]. These are some of the many protective functions of the sky.
The Quran asks us to consider the sky in the following verse:
“We made the sky a protective ceiling. And yet they are turning away from Our signs!” (Quran 21:32)
The Quran points to the sky’s protection as a sign of God. The protective properties of the sky were discovered by scientific research conducted in the 20th century.
      4. Mountains
The Quran draws our attention to a very important characteristic of mountains:
“Did We not make the earth a resting place? And the mountains as stakes?” (Quran 78:6-7)
The Quran indicates that mountains have deep roots by using the word stakes to describe them. In fact mountains do have deep roots, and the word stakes is an accurate description for them. A book titled ‘Earth’ by Geophysicist Frank Press explains that mountains are like stakes, and are buried deep under the surface of the earth. Mount Everest (pictured below), the height of which is approximately 9 km above ground, has a root deeper than 125 km.
The fact that mountains have deep ‘stake’ like roots was not known, until after the development of the theory of plate tectonics in the beginning of the 20th century.[6]
      5. Expansion of the Universe
At a time when the science of Astronomy was still primitive, the expansion of the universe was described in Quran:
“And it is We who have built the Universe with [Our creative] power and keep expanding it.” (Quran 51:47)
The fact that the universe is expanding was discovered in the last century. The physicist Stephen Hawking in his book ‘A Brief History of Time’ writes, “The discovery that the universe is expanding was one of the great intellectual revolutions of the 20th century.”.
The Quran mentioned the expansion of the universe even before the invention of the telescope!
      6. Sun’s Orbit
In 1512 the astronomer Nicholas Copernicus put forward his theory that the Sun is motionless at the centre of the solar system, and that the planets revolve around it. The belief that the Sun is stationary was widespread amongst astronomers until the 20th century. It is now a well-established scientific fact that the Sun is not stationary, but is moving in an orbit around the centre of our Milky Way galaxy[7].
The Quran mentions the orbit of the Sun:
“It is He who created night and day, the Sun and the Moon, each floating in its orbit.” (Quran 21:33)
The Quran would have been wrong according to astronomers just a couple of decades ago. But we now know that the Quranic account of the Sun’s motion is consistent with modern Astronomy.
      7. The Ocean
The Quran uses imagery to covey its deep meanings, here it describes the state of the unbelievers as:
“Darkness out in a deep ocean which is covered by waves, above which are waves, above which are clouds, layers of darkness, one upon the other. When one puts out his hand [therein], he can hardly see it. Those God gives no light to, they have no light.” (Quran 24:40)
It is commonly thought that waves only occur on the surface of the ocean. However oceanographers have discovered that there are internal waves that take place below the surface of the ocean. These waves are invisible to the human eye, and can only be detected by specialist equipment[8]. The Quran mentions darkness in a deep ocean above which are waves, above which are waves, then clouds above that. This description is not only remarkable because it describes the internal waves in the ocean, but also because it describes darkness deep in the ocean. A human being can dive no more than 70 metres without breathing equipment. Light is present at that depth, but if we go down 1000 metres it is completely dark[9]. 1400 years ago there were no submarines or specialist equipment to discover internal waves or the darkness deep inside the oceans.
      8. Lying and Movement
There was a cruel oppressive tribal leader named Abu Jahl who lived during the time of Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him. God revealed a verse of the Quran to warn him:
“No Indeed! If he does not stop, We will seize him by the forehead, his lying, sinful forehead.” (Quran 96:15-16)
God does not call this person a liar, but calls his forehead (the front part of the brain) ‘lying’ and ‘sinful’, and warns him to stop.
This verse is significant for two reasons. The first is that the front part of our brain is responsible for voluntary movement[10].This is known as the frontal lobe.
Secondly, numerous studies have shown that this same region (frontal lobe) is responsible for the lying function of the brain[12].
The front part of the brain is responsible for movement and lying. The Quran links movement and lying to this area. These functions of the frontal lobe were discovered with medical imaging equipment which was developed in the 20th century.
      9. Pain Receptors
For a long time it was thought that the sense of feeling and pain was dependent on the brain. However it has been discovered that there are pain receptors present in the skin[14]. Without these pain receptors, a person would not be able to feel pain.
Consider the following verse on pain:
“We shall send those who reject Our revelations to the (Hell) Fire. When their skins have been burned away, We shall replace them with new ones so that they may continue to feel the pain: God is Almighty, All-Wise.” (Quran 4:56)
God tells the people who reject his message that when they are in Hell and their skins are burnt off (so they can’t feel any pain), he will give them new skins so that they continue to feel the pain.
The Quran makes it clear that pain is dependent upon on the skin. The discovery of pain receptors in the skin is a fairly recent discovery for Biology.
      Conclusion
These are just some of the many scientific facts found in the Quran. It is important to note that the Quran is not a book of science, but that it is consistent with science. To claim that scientific facts in the Quran are due to coincidence would be irrational. The best explanation is that God revealed this knowledge to the Prophet Muhammad.
Just like the Quran contains knowledge about the natural world, it also contains information about the inner dimensions of our souls. It relates to our feelings, wants and needs. The Quran informs us that we have a purpose in life, and that following God’s guidance will lead us to inner peace in this life, and Paradise in the hereafter. And that rejection of his message will lead to depression in this life and Hellfire after death.
“We shall show them Our signs in the Universe and within themselves, until it becomes clear to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is the witness of all things?” (Quran 41:53)

      @@hawknives *******WORD was Jesus ***************
“In the beginning was the Word”
Perhaps the most commonly quoted ‘evidence’ for Jesus’ divinity is the following:
      - [John 1:1] - “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
There is a certain level of deception in this translation. The Greek word for ‘God’ used in the phrase “and the Word was with God,” is the definite form 'ton theos', meaning ‘The God’. However, in the second phrase “and the Word was God”, the Greek word used for ‘God’ is the indefinite form 'theos', which means ‘a god’. Consequently, John 1:1 should more accurately be translated:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.”
If we look at some different verses, 2 Corinthians 4:4 and Act 28:6, we find the exact same word (theos) that was used in John 1:1 to describe Jesus is now used to describe Satan and Paul. However, now the system of translation has been changed:
      - [2 Corinthians 4:4] - "the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not."
      - [Act 28:6] - “Howbeit they looked when he (Paul) should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.”
This exposes inconsistency in the translation of the Greek word theos. Jesus, Satan and Paul are all referred to as theos, however only the reference to Jesus has been translated as “God”. The Greek used for all is the indefinite article and should therefore be translated as "a god" for all of them. We are now starting to get a glimpse of how the "translation" of the Bible took place.
Furthermore, in Biblical language, the term ‘god’ is used metaphorically to indicate power:
      - [Psalms 82:6:] - "I have said, Ye (the Jews) are gods; and all of you are children of the most High"
      - [Exodus 7:1] - "And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made you a god to Pharaoh"
      - [2 Corinthians 4:4] - "the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not."
In the West, it is common when one wishes to praise someone to say "You are a prince," or "You are an angel", etc. When someone says this do they mean that that person is the son of the King of England, or a spiritual being? There is a very slight grammatical difference between saying "You are a prince" and "You are THE prince," however the difference in meaning is quite dramatic.

‘God is not a man’ (Numbers 23:19)
‘For I am God, and not man’ (Hosea 11:9)
Jesus is called a man many times in the Bible
‘a man who has told you the truth’ (John 8:40)
‘Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.’ (Acts 2:22)
‘He will judge the world in righteousness through a man whom He has appointed’ (Acts 17:31)
‘the man Christ Jesus’ (Tim. 2:5)
The Bible says that God is not a son of man
‘God is not a man nor a son of man’ (Numbers 23:19)
The Bible often calls Jesus ‘a son of man’ or ‘the son of man.’
‘so will the son of man be’ (Matthew 12:40)
‘For the son of man is going to come’ (Matthew 16:27)
‘until they see the son of man coming in His kingdom.’ (Matthew 28)
‘But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority’ (Mark 2:10)
‘because he is the son of man’ (John 5:27)
In the Hebrew scriptures, the ‘son of man’ is also used many times speaking of people (Job 25:6; Psalm 80:17; 144:3; Ezekiel 2:1; 2:3; 2:6-8; 3:1-3).
Since God would not contradict Himself by first saying He is not the son of a man, then becoming a human being who was called ‘the son of man’, he would not have done so. Remember God is not the author of confusion. Also, human beings, including Jesus, are called ‘son of man’ specifically to distinguish them from God, who is not a ‘son of man’ according to the Bible.
The Bible says that Jesus denied he is God
Jesus spoke to a man who had called him ‘good,’ asking him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.’ (Luke 18:19)
And he said to him, ‘Why are you asking me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.’ (Matthew 19:17)
Jesus did not teach people that he was God
If Jesus had been telling people that he was God, he would have complimented the man. Instead, Jesus rebuked him, denying he was good, that is, Jesus denied he was God.
The Bible says that God is greater than Jesus
‘My Father is greater than I’ (John 14:28)
‘My father is greater than all.’ (John 10:29)
Jesus cannot be God if God is greater than him. The Christian belief that the Father and son are equal is in direct contrast to the clear words from Jesus.
Jesus never instructed his disciples to worship him
‘When you pray, say Our Father which art in heaven.’ (Luke 11:2)
‘In that day, you shall ask me nothing. Whatsoever you ask of the Father in my name.’ (John 16:23)
‘The hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship him.’ (John 4:23)
If Jesus was God, he would have sought worship for himself
Since he didn’t, instead he sought worship for God in the heavens, therefore, he was not God.

God is creator and Jesus pbuh is creation of God....
This is only the major sin of Islam to worship creation of God ...
And We never sent any Messenger before you (O Muhammad) without having revealed to Him: none has the right to be worshipped but I, therefore you shall worship Me (Alone)." (Quran 21:25)
God has the exclusive right to be worshipped inwardly and outwardly, by one’s heart and limbs. Not only can no one be worshipped apart from Him, absolutely no one else can be worshipped along withHim. He has no partners or associates in worship. Worship, in its comprehensive sense and in all its aspects, is for Him alone.
"There is no true god worthy of worship but He, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate." (Quran 2:163)
God’s right to be worshipped can not be over emphasized. It is the essential meaning of Islam’s testimony of faith: La ilah illa Allah. A person becomes Muslim by testifying to the divine right to worship.
"Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord." (Deuteronomy 6:4)
Jesus repeated the same message 1500 years later when he said:

      And reminded Satan:
"Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only." (Matthew 4:10)

"And your God is One God: there is no god but He…" (Quran 2:163)

@@theurbanthirdhomestead To a Christian, God had to take human form to understand temptation and human suffering, but the concept is not based on any clear words of Jesus. In contrast, God does not need to be tempted and suffer in order to be able to understand and forgive man’s sins, for He is the all knowing Creator of man. This is expressed in the verse:
Exodus 3:7 “And the Lord said: ‘I have surely seen the affliction of My people that are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters; for I know their pains.’”
God forgave sin before Jesus’ appearance, and He continues to forgive without any assistance. When a believer sins, he may come before God in sincere repentance to receive forgiveness. Indeed, the offer to humble oneself before God and be saved is made to all humankind.
Isaiah 45:21-22, “And there is no God else beside Me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside Me. Look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.”
Biblically, people can receive forgiveness of sins through sincere repentance sought directly from God. This is true at all times and in all places. There has never been a need for the so-called intercessionary role Jesus plays in attaining atonement. The facts speak for themselves. There is no truth to the Christian belief that Jesus died for our sins and salvation is only through Jesus. What about the salvation of people before Jesus? Jesus’ death brings neither atonement from sin, nor is it in any way a fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

Hello, just a friendly reminder to whoever you are reading this comment right now, that Jesus loves you 💛
    (Romans 5:7‭-‬8 NIV)
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
    (John 3:16 NIV)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Your situation might be hard to explain right now, you don't need to fight alone because you are never alone, trust Jesus and he will fight for you, Dear Stranger, God loves you. 💛💓 keep praying and never give up.

But I only got about 6 blocks away from home, before they figured out I was gone and actually managed to catch up to me. I still remember everything about that episode clearly.
My parents, however, always kept me so poor that even to have the money for a bus ticket to go to the next town would have been more than I ever had in my hands most of the time.

The longer we live the more we understand how much God HATES sin. There is a very special section of the bible just for children. Jesus said unless we come like one of these little ones, we shall in so wise enter into heaven. He also says WOE unto those who defile and mislead the little ones. With this direct message for mistreating children, I can't believe so many people still do it. I get more tender towards children every day. They need someone to hear them so much, and someone to gently direct them in the right way.

History tells us that... Every Great Nation’s Days Are Numbered. Sir John Bagot Glubb wrote this in the 1950’s. He was an Army General and historian. He studied eleven empires starting with the Assyrians in 859 B.C. and ending with the British in 1950. Sir John determined that each empire followed a remarkably similar pattern from birth to demise. Spanning a period of about 250 years, each went through the following 7 stages before their collapse:
1..The Age of Pioneers. 2. The Age of Conquests. 3. The Age of Commerce. 4. The Age of Affluence. 5. The Age of Intellect. 6. The Age of Decadence. 7. The Age of Decline & Collapse.
He also added these traits to the decline. Defensiveness, pessimism, materialism, frivolity, an influx of foreigners, the Welfare State, and a weakening of religion. To what did he attribute this decadence? Too long a period of wealth and power, selfishness, love of money, and the loss of a sense of duty. Again, please remember, this was written in the 1950’s.
USA…246 yrs of great power...Hummmmmm.......Looks like we are next…
We are living (in what the Bible calls the last days). The Lord's return is so very close...
Jesus said, concerning the (last days), “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars (Russia against Ukraine, Turkey against Syria and China threatening to invade Taiwan and might be close to going to war with India). (what Jesus said continued). See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, pestilences ( Biblical pestilence means a deadly and overwhelming disease that affects an entire community or worse). The Black Plague (1347-1351), a disease that killed over thirty percent of Europe's population, was certainly a pestilence. Pestilence is also one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in the Book of Revelation (which is the last book of The Bible) and earthquakes in various places”). My dear brothers and sisters in Christ (Born-Again), please repent and return to the Lord if you are (caught-up in sin). Remember, sin will take you farther than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay and cost more than you are willing to pay. Also, all others who are not (Born-Again), come to the Lord Jesus for the first time. His arms are wide open for you. He loves you. Please folks, read your Bible. The True and Living God of the Bible told us 2,000 + years ago that Israel would be ‘reborn’ in the “last days”. God tells us that He will gather His people (Jews) from all the nations in the world where they had been scattered and bring them back into their original homeland, Israel.
God said that this will happen in the LAST DAYS). This happened on May 14, 1948 and also He predicted that Jerusalem would finally be in the complete control of the Jews. This happened during the 6 day war in 1967. God also tells us that when Israel becomes a nation again, that Jerusalem would become the center of severe controversy (a burdensome stone) to all nations ( Zechariah 12 v 3…And in that day (last days) will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it). We are surely living in that time today. Also, the Bible predicted the following; strange weather patterns, lawlessness. Jesus said in Matthew 24 v 12
LAWLESSNESS WILL ABOUND and the love of many will grow cold. People will be lovers of one’s self (most people love themselves so much that they take hundreds of selfies), unforgiving and no natural affection toward others, (have you ever seen so much anger toward our fellow man?), etc. All these things will happen just before the return of His (God's) precious Son Jesus. Please, once again, read the Bible and before doing so, sincerely ask God to reveal Himself to you as you read. Please start reading in the Gospel of John because John specifically wrote this Gospel so you may know that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God and that by truly believing in Him (Jesus) and inviting Him into your heart, you will be saved from your sin and granted eternal life in Heaven. Please invite Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior, becoming (Born-Again) through His Holy Spirit and you will be saved if you really mean it. Again, if you really mean this, your life will be changed and it will be obvious to your friends, family and others (Born-Again-Christians) that Jesus has entered into your heart, because you won’t be able to stop talking about Him, sharing with others this new-found truth, peace and joy. Jesus will give you the strength to TURN from your sin (Repent) and follow Him. (I recommend that you go to TH-cam and search for either or all of these Pastors). Chuck Smith, Amir Tsarfati, Mike Winger, Charles Stanley or Pastor Jimmy Evans (END TIMES). Also if you are a Catholic, please search Mike Gendron as he is an authority on Catholic teachings and explains the teachings of the Catholic Church as he compares them to the Bible. All of the aforementioned are great teachers/Preachers of the Bible and you will not be (led astray) by their teachings. Also in TH-cam, search for Ray Comfort or Joe Kirby as God has given Ray and Joe a beautiful way of explaining why we all need Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as well as (Tree of Life Ministries) as they have the most beautiful testimonies of people finding redemption in Jesus Christ. Also, please look up Jonathan Cahn. He is another (gifted) servant of God and can really explain what is going on in these (last days). Jonathan has written several great books about the end times. (The Harbinger and several others). One more beautiful site on (TH-cam) is (Impact Video Ministries). They walk you through so many beautiful truths in your precious Bible and again, will not lead you astray. Also look up (Christ in Prophecy). This ministry is dedicated to keeping us informed about current events that are occurring in real time that point to the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Again though, If there is no noticeable change, (I.E. A hunger to start reading the Bible, going to a Bible believing and teaching Church, overwhelming desire to share Jesus with others, etc) you probably weren't sincere and didn’t really become (Born-Again). Be sincere and join the family of the "Living God". God bless all of you! In Jesus' name I pray, Amen

I thought OFTEN, about taking a bat to him as he slept. But , but, but, I KNEW, how wrong that would be. I had more things, events, happen to me, over and over, every kind of abuse there is, so much, that they become less than each other. It is high, I CANNOT atain unto it. My only brother, was a state trooper, killed at 38 with a 9 month old daughter. ( Just one event ). I KNEW something was wrong at 6 years old. But no idea what it was. My father ? Yes. I need a father and mother, and siblings. My children were ruined by the vileness of narcissism, as I was. But, WHY ? STILL WAITING. I READ JOB CH. 10, EACH DAY.

I prayed Jesus many times but all in vain. Do Jesus really listens the prayers

    • @100huntley
      @100huntley  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

God hears everything, including prayers. He is God. Nothing gets by Him (Psalm 139:1-4). He is sovereign over everything He created (Isaiah 46:9-11). So the question is not whether God is aware of every prayer (He is), but whether God is tuning in to our prayers with an intent to answer them.
God wants us to pray. He has created prayer as a means by which we can enjoy Him (Revelation 3:20), confess our sin (1 John 1:9), ask Him to meet our needs (Psalm 50:15), and align our wills with His (Jeremiah 29:11-12; Luke 22:42). One kind of prayer is guaranteed to be granted. Luke 18:13-14 describes the prayer of repentance. When we call upon the Lord in humble repentance, He is eager to justify and forgive us.
However, when considering prayer, it is important to remember that most promises of God in Scripture were written to His people. In the Old Testament, those promises were for Israel and all who united with them. In the New Testament, those promises were written to the followers of Jesus. It is a misuse of Scripture to pull out isolated verses and try to apply them to any situation we want, including prayer. Even though the Lord knows and hears all, He has given some circumstances in which He will not listen to our prayers:
      1. When we are choosing to hold on to sin, rather than repent and change, God will not hear our prayers. In Isaiah 1:15, the Lord says, “When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood!” Proverbs 28:9 says, “If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable.”
      2. When we ask according to our own selfish desires, God will not hear our prayers. James 4:3 says, “When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.”
      3. When what we ask is not in accordance with His will for us. First John 5:14 says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”
      4. When we do not ask in faith. In Mark 11:24 Jesus said, “I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” However, faith is not believing for something; it is believing in Someone. Our faith is in the character of God and His desire to bless and comfort us. When we pray, we should have faith that He hears us and will grant every request that is in line with His will for us (1 John 5:14-15).
God is holy and desires us to be holy as He is (Leviticus 22:32; 1 Peter 1:16). When He knows that we are seeking that holiness as well, He is delighted to answer our prayers in ways that continue our spiritual growth. Jesus said, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you” (John 15:7). The secret to prayer is abiding in Christ so that whatever we ask is in accordance with His heart (Psalm 37:4). Only then can we have the confidence that God does hear our prayers with an intent to answer them.

For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts?
They repented, were baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:38!
Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life.
That's what Acts 2:38 is. It harmonizes with Matthew 28:19, and all the other salvation scriptures.
We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOTH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT for a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans.
Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures, and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOO long to be WRONG! St, John 5:39, search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS, and the other is a WORK OF FAITH or OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
If I buy you a cake and tell you to come to get it, and you refuse to, then you won't have the cake even though it's been fully paid for. Christ set up the way, and we must come the way he set up to be saved or to receive it.
Noah believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN WORKED OR OBEYED TO BUILD THE ARK TO BE SAVED. LOT believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN OBEYED AND LEFT SODOM. This is why Jesus said, He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. FAITH EQUALS OBEDIENCE TO GOD! All scriptures have to harmonize together
