  • Uploaded this video to send to customer support - if you have the same issue or have a solution, please leave a comment! It is easiest to hear the sound around 1:35 in the video when the treadmill is going 1.8mph.

    Hi all, I had a very similar sounding issue with my UREVO U1 treadmill, and it seems better now so maybe this helps someone :) After spending way too much time I finally figured out how to remove the motor cover (only unscrew the 5 deep set screws on the back, so not all screws on the back, and then you can carefully turn the treadmill up again and take the cover on top off) and saw that some of my long hair got inside the box and tangeled around some parts. I removed them as good as possible, cleaned the rest and now it seems fine and calm again! It was horrible to get the screws on again though, so be warned ^^

    If you lose the controller or if it breaks and stops working you're kinda screwed. I'm still trying to resolve this issue with them and they don't know what "the controller DOES NOT work." Actually means and they want a video over email.

    Just came across this video. Mine also started vibrating while walking on it and thumping noise after about 5-6 months of use. Sounds like we are all having the same issue around the same lenght of use time.

    i would open the cover listen and try to find if noise is related to a particular place and also try to make some visual inspects, check screws tightness, belt play etc. or experiment by removing belt if noise continues then it s the ac motor and so..

    I have the same walking pad for 6 months and all of a sudden my walking pad started to sound like it is straining to move the belt.

    I just fixed mine, check the brushes cap around the motor when they break the brushes get loose and they make that sound

      Can you tell me how you removed the motor cover? I have the Strol 1 Pro and it powers up but will move when turned on. Support says to check under the motor hood but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to remove it. No screws and does not easily pop out.

    Mine has gotten unbearably load for any speed over 2, would love to hear what they told you

      They said to just let it run for 15 minutes because something was probably stuck in the motor. I did that and it's better now. That doesn't really seem like a great solution - probably better to actually take the cover off and see what was stuck - but I guess whatever was in there worked its way out or eventually got obliterated.

      @@BenFinio Can you tell me how to remove the cover over the motor? I cannot figure it out. I have a brand new Stro1 1 Pro that powers up but the belt won't move when I press start. Customer support says to get into the motor and make sure everything is hooked but but I can't get the cover off. My cover looks like yours. Any help is appreciated!

      @@BK-me9yx Unfortunately I haven't tried actually taking the cover off yet, I just let it keep running like support suggested and the thumping eventually stopped. Now it's making a different noise though, so if I ever have time I might make a second video on disassembling it...

    What speed did you run it at? Mine is doing the same thing.

    • @BenFinio
      @BenFinio  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I normally run it at 1.5mph when I'm using it, unfortunately I forget what speed I ran it out when I was letting it clear out - probably not any higher than that though.
