The Ring Stick Up Cam Battery has a dual power source option. It can either operate with the internal removable rechargeable battery or it can be plugged in to provide a permanent power source and the battery will not need recharged.
The Ring Stick Up cam has 1080HD video, and includes a night vision feature. The video is activated when motion is detected and you can review recorded footage on your phone.

We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version th-cam.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.

Go to camera settings then device health. You can see signal strength there
If you get the battery version and wire it instead but also have the battery inside, will the battery automatically be used as a backup for making the camera stay on in case power in the house goes off?
I got a Reolink first then the Ring. The Ring is WAY easier to install and easier to see the captured videos. Hands down a great little easy to use camera. AND I did not have to buy a stupid mini card.

Okay, I have this and it's the plug in one. It's been working great for a while, I plug and unplug when I'm home. Here lately I'll plug it in, leave the house and it is showing off line? I reconnected the WiFi, working great! Plug the camera in this morning and was fine, I leave and it's showing off line? HELP PLEASE!

Where is the motion detector?
I have the ring stick up battery powered but I got tired of recharging the battery so I bought a dc power adapter and I plugged it in to an outlet, my question is, should I change power mode to wired once I plugged it in? What happens if I decide to switch power mode to wired?

So i put it in my window and never goes off. So my ring door bells goes off and then i have to check this one thats sits in window. I watch live only. So yup it sucks. $99 best buy.

@@luischavez6248 First of all delay, videos are delayed; motion notifications work sometimes, sometimes not, can´t rely on them. System tells me there is no good wifi connection, the same time as I use laptop 2 m from the camera, all works perfectly (moving cam position have nothing to say). And after "the trial " time you wont see anything unless pay. No recordings, no notifications just option for live view and you won´t be able to see it afterwards. Minimum 3 EUR per camera a month.
Purchased 2 but Battery is so bad that I am changing to another brand.
