Yes! My dad is also the reason I’m into Tool! 30 years young now and him and I never miss a show near home! First time I saw them I was 14. Columbus, OH, 2006. Been HOOKED ever since!
Tool's visual effects are often held back by the actual capabilities of the venue they are playing. This place for sure could handle more than the arena's I've seen them at in my general area. Jelly

It was the first one I went to and the visuals were so much different in person. The way the lasers synchronize with the frequency of Justin's bass is such a subtle yet amazing effect that cannot be replicated on video. When he would change notes and the lasers went to that note it had me hypnotized and so connected to the music.
I was at this show and Moline but just now noticed they definitely changed up the visuals since the Florida shows for this particular song. These visuals are crazy
@@andrewodom375 like literally. A lot of shows had the same visuals over and over. They literally have light cues attached to each of the. Usuals. The engineers did it. Look at Houston the pot. And look at this one. Two different visuals. And light cues go along with it. Same with other songs. The visuals are in tune. Look at the grudge. The mouth opening with the beat of the Danny’s snare. I forgot what show but for fear inoculum the song. Houston we had an eyeball move to the bass line during one of the breakdowns. And some other show had the eyeball. But it didn’t love. Check it out. It’s usually around the 5:30-7:00 minute mark.
Been a Tool fan since 93 and seen them live 5 times. Maynard just doesn't have the same commitment or passion in his voice these days. Still love Tool though I guess we're all getting older
There's nothing like seeing Tool for the first time. Saw them in '01 during Lateralus. Nothing compares. This tour is just insane. Happy you got to see them.
I'm going to be honest, this section 4:50 was better with Justin's old pedals. His signature wah sounds like a toilet flushing. No bottom either. Bottom = heavier
I was at this show and have to say that the sound was really bad compared to their DC show last month. That show blew me away, so much that I flew to STL to see them again, but was really let down.
