I remember a few weeks ago, Kim was unwell. I saw on YT that some visitors in Da Nang got dengue fever after being bitten by mosquitoes. Do you think this was the case?
@ChrissieSM we did actually hear about dengue fever spreading but we also thought it was due to the weather/season because it is very common for the flu to spread during this time of year 🙂
@munch08js what a good question! we didn't do much research at all besides the border crossing from Vietnam into Laos without a motorbike because the purpose was to get our visas renewed. we also knew we were just staying around the border, so not too much preparation was required!
Have you guys tried Laotian food and if so what is your favourite? ☺
We love Laotian food. Nam Khoa and papaya salad, sticky rice with any protein + veggies.

What kind of research did you guys do about Laos before you traveled there? Especially about the people and their food? Curious
