This prefab house also has several different options and is built as a "off frame" modular home! The manufacturer for this house is Franklin Homes. The model for this home is the “Grand Cayman II” This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has roughly 2,280 square foot(on main level). Let me know what you think about the video! We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

I love that this home has a defined entry you don't see that all that often, plus it has a coat closet! Also the living room has its own defined space while still being open, the kitchen is beautiful and I love that the dining table isn't just hanging out in the middle of things. The colors are beautiful, the back porch so inviting, the double closet doors, a utility room I could only dream of, basically this house has all the if only's, if only the colors were nicer, if only it had a coat closet, etc. etc. Great choice to tour, Chance.
I really liked this! I think they living room could have been a bit bigger since no family room.. kitchen was great!! Lots of storage and counter space!! Pantry was a nice surprise!! Linen closets which you often don't find in modern homes!! The counter tops in bathrooms I'd have to change!! I'd take out that crazy garden tub! I thought those were going out! Over All great house!!! Thanks for showing. Always fun.

I have a double wide 2 story unfinished modular! They said the v biggest expense is putting heating and air ducts! I would love to finish it because it's freezing in the winter and hotter then hell in the summer! Beautiful houses you show!

I love this home it has a lot of closet space and the office off the kitchen is a plus.
Awesome. If money was no object, this would be perfect. Only changes would be change electric fireplace to gas or wood and maybe little darker blue color on outside. That's it. Laundry/utility room is a definite 10. And that porch is a big plus. Okay, could go on because its all just awesome to me. Thanks for doing these tours. Enjoy them so much. God bless.
Love, Love, Love the kitchen. The pantry although not a walk-in it is still a pantry that provides additional storage space for food and essentials leaving cabinets for dishes, glasses, etc. Love the back porch, I would screen it in to keep flying critters out.

I love the layout and the colors of this house.
My favorite variation of this home I've ever seen was the Santa Fe. The entry had a beautiful built-in to display photos or decor. I don't think it was 2 stories though. Anyway, hope you're all doing well, loved the video.
Beautiful home. Love the colors and the coat closet near the front door. Nice big bedrooms. Wish the microwave and refrigerator was closer to the sink and cookstove though. Too much walking between the appliances when cooking. Love the utility room. Only thing missing from the utility room is a closet for coats and shoes. Love the cabinets, sink, and folding area. Nice nice home!!!!
Definitely pay attention to the closets and how you want them to function when ordering this home. My only disappointment is the master closet. Its half shelves and half hanging racks. I have zero need for shelving so I'll have to redo it. But its perfect for us otherwise.
I'm opposite lol. I love the shelving. I'd fill those up with storage bins and shoes.

This home is a masterpiece! The way the rooms are separated, the kitchen is an elegant, pure function kitchen!! It is gorgeous and makes me want to cook! Love, love, love the gas range! Need way more of them! The laundry room is to absolutely die for!! I, telling you it's a dream...now if I could just get someone to do the laundry...hmmm...🤔 I would love it in a single level, don't need upstairs. Or downstairs, no natural disasters of any kind here! Love the cozy feel of the den. Love the foyer but I would face the coat closet into the foyer. Kinda odd where it is. Overall, wish I was rich cuz this would be it!! Way to go Chance!
I would turn it into an art studio! On one end and a music room on the other end . This one is only missing a fireplace and a water closet 😊

that attic would be a HUGE sewing space with plenty of room for a long arm quilt machine
With any of them that have the extra space upstairs, I'd put in another bedroom for my older son and at least a half bath for him. As well as a play area.

Pros
Coat closet by front door
Pantry with wooden shelves. But it's not a walkin.
Nice big kitchen. But you would walk yourself to death in it. The stove is too many steps away from the sink and equal amount of steps in the opposite direction to the refrigerator. I would want a bar sink at the end of the island on the end where the refrigerator is.
I like the vent hood!
I like the black countertops with the white cabinets. I like how many cabinets there are.
Pantry cabinet to use as an appliance garage. Make sure to have an outlet in that cabinet so you can put in drawers and plug your appliances in. I use my bread machine, Vitamix blender and large crockpot and Kitchenaid mixer right there in the appliance garage. I just pull out the drawer and use the appliances right there on the drawer. Of course you have to have real wood cabinets and not particle board because you screw in the pull out shelf drawers and you don't want a Kitchenaid mixer with it's weight and vibrations to loosen screws that are in nothing but sawdust.
Builtin in microwave
The dining space has a wall for Grandmother's china cabinet. But it's a little small and right in the kitchen to be a formal dining room. It's more of a breakfast area and that means no formal dining room.
I like the back porch.

Wonderful laundry room with all the cabinetry! That is the best laundry room I've seen.
Nice closet system in the master closet but it's small.
Master bathroom is nice size. Not too big with wasted floor space but not too small.
Cons
There is no wall to put furniture on in the living room. The living room is basically a big hallway. With all the windows, doors, entrance, entertainment center and kitchen bar, there is no place to put a couch that's not in the center of the room.
I don't like two kitchen stool bars. In fact, I don't like bars in the kitchen anyway. People would rather sit in chairs, not stools. With the dining room table right in the kitchen, you have seating. You don't need more seating with two bars.
Fake electric fireplace. How did that EVER become a fad? It's so useless, tacky and takes up valuable wall space.
I hate the master bathroom faux wood tile. And bad pebble floor. BUT, at least it doesn't have a plate glass window and it has a niche.
No bench in the master bathroom shower and no safety bars.
Cabinets don't go all they way to the ceiling.
Master bedroom is too small, master closet is too small. And I don't like how you enter the bedroom straight from the kitchen. I could live with it but it seems funny.

I'm so used to looking at floor plans to decide which bedroom I'd sacrifice to be my sewing room, but I wouldn't have to do that with this model. Love that laundry room!

Cool Prefab home Chance. One question, what was that room to the right of the refrigerator? At 9:27 seconds in this video we get a brief glimpse of the doorway than you headed left. Another bedroom? I would use the 2nd level for a master bedroom, library, and office in 3 sections.
I'm GROVIN on this house! The kitchen .. looks like the Helicon model by a different manufacter. But the dinning area and back porch on this model makes sense.
I LOVE the shower room in the master bath. (Might as well call it a shower room, cuz its just about as big as one and ya dont have to clean glass or worru about hard water stains.)
I DONT like the huge gigantic price tag though. I've heardFranklin builds some solid mobile homes, but...... half a million dollars? Seriously?
We all need to get together with Franklin homes and see how we can help them cut the price tag down. In Half even.

It was VERY nice. That upstairs would need some dormers or skylights. It would need a bathroom up there. I’m sure my 22 year old would want the entire floor. Lol No water closet in the master bath. That’s a deal breaker for me. The price is soooo high! I could get a nice big house with a basement for $400k here.
Nice home but I don’t like the location of that tub in the master bath and the laundry room is SO far away from the master bath. Really nice home though!

Absolutely love this kitchen! Nice tour!😊 I would say it would be my thing for sure, my only criticism is having the baths with tile up to the ceiling. Don't like shower spigots mounted on sheetrock walls and or ceilings. I'm sure I can opt for that.

So is it possible to have extra windows put in where there are none? Like one end has zero windows. I would want one or 2 put in.

lovely house but living room needs to be a bit larger!!
So pretty!! I love the dining inside the kitchen!! The colors of the kitchen are perfect!! I would divide the attic into sleeping areas for the kids and grandkids. It would be a good idea to put a small but functional full bath upstairs too - at least a powder room. I might even alter the roof pitch higher to give more general head space room in the attic. Hum, what else, oh, I love it.
This one was almost my favorite until the master bath. I know you don't build these homes but that tub between those vanities was a big NO for me. It almost looked like the bathtub was an afterthought. I would change the accent wall colors but the layout and design of the house itself is beautiful.
You can modify ANYTHING on the homes. I absolutely love my Alexander farmhouse.

I agree. Loved the shower, but the rest of the master bath was deflated.
I would turn that attic into a home theater! Also, I love the his and hers sinks in the primary bath! I don’t necessarily want a tub in the primary, bath, but to each their own.

Good size bedrooms and closets. Like pocket doors. Primary bath take tub out and put double sinks together. Change tile in shower. Would go with something brighter. Now we have a singing Chance. Upstairs would be a family room and some storage. Beautiful home. Thanks for the tour!
The laundry room has that table and it could be an area for your sewing machine.

It’s an interesting home master bath is a little different not too overly impressed with the tub between the sinks but otherwise it’s a pretty nice home 😁

Thank you for the tour Chance. Nice layout! Nice kitchen. I like that it has a coat closet, pantry and porch. I love the large utility room. I would take out some of the cabinets to make room for a freezer and utility closet.
This is a huge house! I'm impressed! There's a craft/sewing area in the utility room. Love it! The second level is my favorite! Love the interior's color! It has class! Love that master suite especially the shower! Yes a play room is perfect! Price is great!

I would turn the attic into a master retreat with a sitting area and a wet bar. The shower would have lots of jets!!
The kitchen, the master bedroom and laundry room...hands down are the best features.

The good thing about a walk in shower with no glass is that you don’t have to clean the water off the glass as soon as you finish. I have to squeegee the glass and then wipe it down after every shower, or I’ll be scrubbing the water spots off with extra elbow grease on cleaning day. My water is very hard

WHY do the continue to put mixed (cheap) siding on these that make them LOOK like a cheap trailor? At this price it should have real brick!

It's a very pretty home. I like the separation of the living room and kitchen. Love the back porch. Love all the cabinets in the kitchen. The laundry room is amazing 😊 Love the master bath. I would get rid of the carpet in the home and change some of the colors

All that house is beautiful but you got to remember that's a trailer or double-wide $400,000 who you selling these to Donald Trump because the average American is not going to be able to afford that think about it four hundred thousand dollars now you got to haul it another hundred thousand dollars now you got to hook it up to electricity and find land for now we looking at almost $700,000 you guys are nuts but if you want to pay Florida prices that's fine but here Michigan that same house on land 68,000 closing cost and everything like how you pay it off 130,000

Double closet doors that is Brady bunch style LOL and the Attic that just seals the deal Greg & Marsha fueding over who gets the attic for their private domain to break away from their younger siblings looks like you could have a two lane bowling alley or super model R.R. Display or trucking terminal display or an adult den of zen the possibilities & probabilities are mind boggling
This is a lovely 😍 home, but prefer LVP flooring throughout the home. I need all of my space for an up right freezer in the laundry room and minus those cabinets over the toilet in the bathroom. Also, would make changes to the master closet. I prefer regular racks, not into book selves in the closet. #Beautiful

Love the house hate the bathtub. Needs a free standing tub. Also you gotta stop getting all excited about lazy Susans. They have been in every house in this country since the 1970s! Sorry little buddy but you had to know! Great info at the end.

This is truly amazing home bring it up a notch to fancy one. The kitchen was breathtaking lots of storage. Laundry room was a good upgrade to see a folding table. Master bedroom was impressive up from the closet to the bathroom. But the extra space of the attic can use bey own imagination what to do with the space.
I think because of your videos I’m going to buy a piece of land and put one of these up. We just don’t have any dealers near us. How far do they move them?

I would use the attic for storage for Christmas tree and ornaments, and suitcases. Love this home. Is there a pantry? I think you are a hot ticket. Every home you make me laugh. Love when you bring your Son in. He is funny as well.
I'd make the attic an office, add a powder room, kitchenette, and study. Take out that bulky tub in the main, and redo that shower because it feels dark, cave like. Other than that I like it!

I would possibly allow maybe an additional bedroom and bath upstairs, but would also make part into a classroom and library to provide space to home school children as well as storage.

Not too fond of this floorplan, but I do love that they have the livingroom separated. And I love the masterbath shower.......that tile is just the color and type I like!

Love it! The laundry at back of house so you don't have to walk through the kitchen with the laundry. Nice porch also.

This floor plan is my all time favorite one! The only thing i would change is I'd add a garbage drawer and pot/pan drawers by the stove. I like everything else! This hm is the one I'd buy if it were available in my area hands down! That utility rm is the best hands down! Thx Chance!❤
