Hello Dolls!! It may be a little late but I wanted to give you guys as much information as I possible could for this video. Such helpful advice! Although I don't have high-end bags, I adore what I do have (T. Burch, Coach, D&B...) and try to treat them well so they last forever (each has its own dust bag). When you reference space to lay them flat, do you mean on their side? Thanks so much!

I got a Delightful in monogram 5 weeks ago and it is already showing signs of the dreaded peeling that I've been reading so much about on the Purse Forum. Awesome tips! I just purchased a speedy b 35 and the zipper isn't laying straight. When I zip it it looks a little "wavy" in two places. I asked the SA if this was normal and she said its due to storage but if that was the case don't they store it with the zipper completely straight? I hope that made sense.

Great tips, some I hadn’t thought of- what abt bags with pleats, gathered canvas, folds, or draping type of designs? How do you treat them? Anything diff to keep the tufts or pillows of material in place and the right shape?

So I just bought a new speedy online and the dust bag that was sent to me doesn’t fit unless it is folded. I have just requested a larger dust bag for it but in the mean time, should I leave it folded or open it up and not have it covered or try and cover it as best I can? What are your thoughts?
Minks4All, i didnt realize and had kept my neverfull PM in damier ebene stored in the cinched position and not the corners of the bag on the top have taken a natural shape of going inwards..anything I can do to fix it?

Creasing question: I bought a very vintage sac souple 55. It was likely stored folded for many years. I have cleaned and restored it and it looks great, but you can see the creases. Will those go away over time if stuffed with air pillows? The canvas is not cracked but the creases are noticeable. Thank you!

So if I go to the LV and tell my SA I don't want him or her to fold it , will that be possible ?

Hi Minnie!! Such a great video thanks for all the tips!! As I was watching I was thinking of my own handbags and the way I have them stored and I'm doing some changes to them so thanks for the tips;) I have one question, how do I store a cross body that does not have a removable strap?
Thank you so much for watching Doll ❤️ As for a non removal strap, I would try to flatten the strap out as much as you can and tuck it into the bag when it's stored.
Great video Minnie..good tips too! What about how to store Chanel flap?I have a jumbo flap & the chain starts to dig in on the inside flap..
Thank you so much Sweetie :) The Double Flap I store pretty much the same way I do the WOC. I make sure the chains are flat up against the top of the bag and run the remainder through the second flap :)
I really don't buy expensive handbags, but I found this video very interesting.

Awesome, awesome video :) Thank you so much for doing this. As soon I saw the Speedy storage part, I immediately ran and made sure my speedy handles were sitting upright. I had them laying flat against the bag and didn't realize it could cause some problems. Do you think the wear and patina also depends on the place of storage? I store mine in my closet that has no windows so the only light my bags get is with the light turned on. Such a helpful video :)

And one thing also is my prelove Gold Mono Lurex Sunbird bag is folded, so I have to store it the same as never full, is that right Minnie...? I always ask for a GM bag for my mm neverfulls. Bc I can't stand it pokes out. Base shaper pillow and organization set. You can get it all on Amazon! I stuff my speedys with smaller pillows and the air paper ysl gives you when you get packages from them.
Base shapers are #1 with speedys bc they slouch so I put in silk clothing or silk pillow cases or old Gucci silk dusters until it isn't sagging at all. The corners nothing. The one good thing agojty the alma is you don't have this issue ... Ugh.
Thank God you can take each bag in once a year for free cleaning. You can make this bag a crossbody also! And over the shoulder with your other straps while it's sinched! 🖤🖤
The moment I saw how you stored your Neverfull, I freaked out and ran inside my bedroom took all my Speedies and Neverfull bags.I then climbed up in my attic and got all my bubble wraps and stuffed it in. You were right, they all had a crease. I had mine stored like the LV store does. Hopefully, they'll go away in a couple of weeks. With my GST, I'll just do exactly what you do with yours =)

This video really helped! For the GST, i rotate the bag once a week on my shelf. I found it really helped with the sagging. I've had mine for a year and a couple months and it looks new cause of that 😊 also, how do you store your jumbo?

The round tissue paper was given to me at chanel to put in between the rings of the handles and the leather. That was the leather doesnt get indentations with the weight of the metal rings

You're too kind :)) Although I do not have a Favorite, the major differnce between them besides the brand is the fact that the WOC is leather vs. the Favorite being mostly canvas. I think the WOC has better resale value so if you ever decided to sell it, its such a great investment that you will see more money return :)

Hi Minnie, I use my speedy 40 (I think) everyday, should I still empty it and stuff it every night? Also, the red on the handles is peeling, I've only had the bag since December, is this abnormal or is it a problem with my speedy? I'm plainnig on taking it to a SA but I live nowhere near one and I don't want to be charged for something that shouldn't happen :-(

Girl...I have a new Chanel Double Flap Jumbo. I got her for Mother's Day. I would like to know if you can incorporate how you store her in your Minks Monday Q and A, because I really do not know were to put the chains. Thanks hun.
I'd like to jump in on this question. I put the chains under felt protectors, then I get some dust bags or little pillows and rest my chains on those to take off the weight. Not to detract from minks video but in the one I uploaded yesterday, I showed my closet and you can see my jumbo at the bottom left corner.
Shamil Buxo I saw her!! CONGRATS BABE!! She is gorgeous!!! The way I store my Jumbo flap is pretty much the same way I store the WOC. I put it back in the box with felt covering the flaps. As far as the chains go, I pull them through the flap so that the chain lays flat against the outside of the bag. Hope this helps sweetie!! Xoxoxo I'll try and take a picture to give you a visual.

Once again an excellent video. I have never had any SA or luxury good owner give me the advice you have displayed in this video. Its very nice:) I am going to reorganize my closet tomorrow. With this info on proper storage you have insured that my bags will last longer (saving me time and money). MOst people just go through the motions of ownership. But just like a car if you don't care of the inside and outside it will just fall apart. Thanks for saving my bags life ;0)

I use bubble wraps as wells since I can't find air paper. So far my bags are doing fine.
