Kellog’s is a North Brooklyn staple. This rebrand has been wonderful. For years the quality of food at Kellog’s did not live up to the name and recognition. Having eaten there since the new management, the quality is beyond anything the previous Kellog’s was. It so delicious and worth visiting.
This is really reassuring to hear! I actually laughed when this video suggestion popped up on my feed because I ate there once and I was confused as to how it was so revered. I'll have to give it another try
That's awesome to hear. I went 5 years ago (late night) and it was terrible. No seasoning, poorly made eggs (which is hard to do lol). Sounds like it was probably just bad management phoning it in. Love it when new management comes in and starts doing a historic institution justice. I'll be visiting soon!
Having painted nails while prepping and working the line, wearing jewelry and cross contaminating utensils? What kind of chef really does that? Makes one wonder how that chef managed to climb the ladder with habits like that.
Go cope, I seem to remember her using gloves while prepping the food. So her nails were covered. A bracelet isn't a problem either. Wonder how many professional kitchens YOU have worked in?
Great now were gentrifying "diners". 7 menus with over 200 items, it's a f****** diner not Le Bernardin. Even Le Bernardin doesn't have 7 menus. All you need is breakfast, lunch and dinner three to four pages and 1 menu tops. Call it Kellogg's Restaurant but not a diner. Never going to this restaurant/diner. 200 items on a menu you know food isn't getting rotated and stuff is going bad. Such a waste of food and resources.
Because the western world has standards to process meat we're able to eat it raw. In Africa for example they are not able to preserve it due to the climate and it's why the quran took a page about how you should process meat to make it 'halal' for consumption. And that's why in those cultures they cook it through, to prevent parasites or sickness.
4:49 I respect people who want to eat vegetarian or vegan, but I eat mostly protein. So this place would not be on my list to go to. But I respect what you guys are doing.
Paying attention is not one of your strong suits, huh? lol she literally says a few seconds before that one of the walk-ins is for "meat, dairy & pastry"

💯
She’s so likeable! This diner looks delicious, would love to try some of those desserts! ❤️
too bad she cross contaminated the ice scoop by touching the fish
You’re not alone. I also hate labels on things and I also sometimes eat in the office.
She’s awesome! Wish I had a woman like this on the line when I was working restaurants….

I didn't know they sold CAKES at Kellogg's. 🎂🎂

Chef jackie is a babeeee
I too hate the lack of label removal! My current kitchen is the first place I've ever worked in that doesn't have this problem!
Doña is such a key Texas thing; it’s my favorite salsa that you can’t find in Seattle
Love it🔥🤙
200 menu items is crazy!
typical for Chinese... nothing new
they have 7 menu rotations so probably 200/7 = 29 menu items per rotation

Funny enough, J Kenji Alt just did a video on flat nachos (Texas Style) with the same ingredients.
with the rise of AI, and I am in tech, these industries will thrive and be respected again... why? - because humans need interaction socially

Ok Robert
shut your mouf. keyword was "rotating" menu you waste
large menus are not at all uncommon for diners up north
One of THE defining attributes of a diner is a large menu, are you okay?
can always go to the countless diners out there. You literally losing it over a youtube video roberts
that patty melt is raw in the middle. what is with americans and not fully cooked burgers
That’s how WE LOVE IT 😉
lol what does this have to do with being american. Germans, Italian, French, Lebanese, Ethiopians, Turkish and many others literally raw meat.
its a worldy thing

@@bcs1793 I specified burgers as in raw ground meat formed into a patty, you dullard
