I think this is my 4th time making this dipping sauce tonight for dumplings 🥟. But, I was Very Lucky I put much of the sauce away last week. My husband went for take out Chinese and brought my food home of course. I only got to eat it 2 hours later and it was DRY AF !!!! The ABSOLUTE WORST FOOD EVER. But it was after midnight so there was nothing to do but CHOKE IT DOWN. After the 3rd bite, I remembered the sauce I had in the frig from this recipe and it really was a Life Saver. So thx again . Pretty sure I won’t have to refer back anymore Lol, recipe is now imbedded in my head. Try this recipe, especially if you enjoy Sweeter Sauces, you’ll love it 😊
Hi Alecks, hindi ko pa nasubukan na lagyan ng calamansi tong sauce na ito, pero pwede sigurong lagyan kung gusto mo na medyo maasim, salamat sa pagdalaw :)

Oh!?! before I forget I would like to store it in a bottle as you have done but I would like to put the piece of ginger inside the bottle as well with the sweet sauce do you think that is ok? or not? hi @Holy Anarchy never tried putting ginger on sweet soy, I guess it would add some extra flavor & spiciness. I think it's ok to store it inside the bottle :)
Hi Sid, yes you can, use less though because white sugar tend to be sweeter than brown sugar, maybe start with 3/4 cup instead of 1 cup, just adjust later

Hello Junric, para sa akin importante yung cinnamon powder kahit wala nang paprika at paminta, pero kung wala talaga pwede siguro yang tubig, sugar & soy na lang muna pero syempre hindi kasing sarap ng kung may cinnamon powder sya :)
