Thanks so much ! One thing that's important and is my favourite part of my pond is the log stack. It's now covered in moss and ferns and it looks very natural now after a few years , I love it more than the newts and frogs that hide away in it during the year. If you can try and visit some woods or forest and find some old dead wood to add around your pond . Thanks again. 👍

That's exactly what I want to build. I have a section of my yard that used to have a creek, until the city got rid of it, long before I bought the property. You can tell there was water there long ago. Asides from the plants, I think I have most things I need to do it. Will be checking for the original video.

My food forest hosts the origination of a creek (or stream). I have the shape only the water is lacking. Only visible when it rains. So this could work really well. It's super nice to know that there are so many caring people in the world trying to help wild critters!

@@carmenortiz5294 I agree with you 100%. In my short lifetime I've seen insect numbers plummet. My pollinator food forest will be doubled in size this year after seeing the success of it last year. The critters are starved for habitat. It makes me cry sometimes.

    One question:
What do you do to control 2,000 or more baby frogs?
Do snakes come eat them? Birds eat them? Some die from lack of food?
    I want to make a 60' × 30' pond..... I could have a 100,000..... YIKES !
