      Prayer certainly worked, though. Edward Jenner was a devout Christian, and in his last days, he stated he understands whether people thank him or not, but he is baffled at why people wouldn't be thankful to God for his discoveries. Generally, his works were quite motivated by his faith.

      I know this may sound contrived but that is largely due to capitalism which emphasizes quick returns from promoting celebrity entertainment and not true education.
      If we can figure out how to manipulate the capitalist class into developing a profit motive for all people furthering their education for life we'll be onto something.

    It's crazy how the success of modern vaccines lead to their downfall. In my grandparents generation thousands of children would die each year due to these horrible viruses. Some people just can't grasp the severity of these viruses without seeing them first hand. Sad

    Maybe we can get someone to address the potential reinfection rates of COVID 19 vs the currently presented 4 total cases worldwide. Immunological studies haven’t shown reinfection rates of note. I’d love to see a breakdown of the topic. I realize you might get a fact check review but that would be the point.

    • @thomasneal9291
      @thomasneal9291 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      you're not going to get significant data points on reinfection rates until at least a year of primary infection has passed. we're not there yet, but if you look at the current immunological response studies, it sure does look more similar to the reaction to being infected by influenza than it does for something like polio, with very similar rates of antibody drop off.
      you should see larger case studies being published in medical journals in about 2 more months would be my guess.

She had been vaccinated 12 years earlier. Smallbox only exists now in a few of the most secure Biosafety level 4 labs.
