Rob's vocals are much better than they were a year ago all of the Doodles seem to really be helping. Rob is one of the greatest bass players of all times he is a monster on bass I love the doodles and his vocals are improving tremendously. There's about 6 haters for everything Metallica does but anybody paying attention knows that Rob is killing it right now
I think that this song for James is easy to sing, because he tries to transmmit a lot of energy to the tallica family, and sing and play without problem, and he did amazing

I go to a lot of shows and by far the 2 best shows I went to last year was Metallica (Petco Park) and Guns and Roses (The Forum). Not a huge GNR fan but appreciate their music. I couldn't believe GNR didn't have a opener for the show I went to. They rocked it for a little over 3 hours barely breaking.

When you look at when they started touring again in 2016 and the videos that have came out in their most recent concerts in '17 and '18, you can tell that ALL the band members are becoming more polished, James' vocals are prime. Kirks' guitar skills are on POINT, Rob on the bass is as good as ever and Lars had it all together! It's cool to see them get better as the videos progress chronologically
