Also, @52:15, the output waveform is not technically correct. It should be an upside-down version of the input, with the magnitude scaled up. In other words, the mirror image of what is drawn.

Professor, is the output signal that you drew at 52:15 correct? BTW, these lectures are excellent and I am enjoying the course and taking a lot of notes. I am a retired ME.

You are right. I should be the mirror image of what I drew. Thanks for bringing this up.

Even I got the same doubt bro. Then i lost it and now corrected it but I must say cleared op amp basics in one go

Is that output waveform from an inverting amplifier right? It should only flip it upside down right but the picture you drew is flipped leftside right . Correct me if I am wrong.

What is the relation of delay and instability , concerning that if there is no delay, the stability is related to the gain when the minus input varies. And when there’s delay, I don’t understand how it influence the stablity

Professor, I have a doubt (around the 1 hour time). Let's think of an operational amplifier with negative terminal at ground, and the positive terminal with the resistor R2 between it and vout and R1 between it and vin. Ignoring stability, etc for a moment, it can still theoretically produce a stable output right? Vout = A(V+ - V-). If Vout is finite, we would be having V+ following V-. Think of a scenario where V+ is slightly dipping below 0 (V- is grounded). Now we can still assume as if current flows from vin to v+ then from v+ to vout right. And A*vdelta condition is also satisfied since vdelta here is -ve since the positive terminal is dipping slightly below 0. It would still behave as an inverting amplifier right, atleast in steady state theoretically?

Hi Sir, when is voltage gain important? when is current gain important? when is power gain important?

at 52:45 the first configuration of op-amp you said that Vout directly affecting the V1 because R2 has no current but in second configuration R2 has current now how Vout affect the V1
