I keep telling myself I need to work on tanning my head to get ready for Florida. With the bald head, you don't have to worry about hat hair, so it definitely gives you a bit of freedom to try different hats.
Those glasses are nice bro! I'm also bald and bearded, so I saw a scally cap the other day at Target that I am seriously thinking about adding into my daily accessories.
I’m balding. Not sure if I’ll ever go straight shaved but I can agree on the beard confidence aspect. I loved Scally caps but until I was bearded they looked a little off. Great video Matt.

She shaved it down to a 2, then a 1, then finally convinced me to get a straight razor shave. I pull it off a lot better than I expected and got a lot of compliments on it. Just own your shit and you'll be a lot happier than trying to hide it.
@@harmzuay I’m fairly young and balding already unfortunately but just recently cut my hair down to a 1 but of course kept my beard a bit lengthy and clean and I am really liking it. Next time around I might go even lower. I’m trying to get myself use to the look and expect that maybe by the summer I will be completely shaving it and owning it like you said.
Nature only made a few perfect heads. The rest are covered with hair. Shave that crap. A "balding" man looks like an old man. I balded at 20. 40 years later I am now fashionable. haha. Go shaved. Just do it.
I agree with the others saying to shave it and own it. I went far too long walking around in denial trying to hide it (Was only fooling myself). When I finally shaved my head I felt pure freedom and I just thought I should have done it a long time ago

Good job! One reason I grew my beard was to bring attention down from my bald head. No interest at all in shaving what hair I still have. Hats, caps, and handkerchieves (or bandanas) are essential. I prefer caps or hats to sunblock.

Damn that's a solid beard. I used to shave my head. I did it for 19 years actually. I remember I tried to shave my head twice a day for a while but my skin could not tolerate that, but once a day worked. And I don't know if I mentioned it but damn that is a solid beard.
I started shaving my head over a year ago because my hairline started receding. I shave my head daily and let me tell you it took some years off. I grew a beard for the first time in my life and it’s great. I get my eyebrows threaded.
Just discovered your videos last night. Also bald and bearded, have kept my head shaved for years. I shave daily in the shower using the Gillette fusion against the grain. Have decided to try and grow my beard longer and bigger, hopefully it goes well.
Nice! I would totally shave in the shower, but don’t want to run up the water bill plus don’t want to use up all the hot water since most of my family showers at night.
Great job, Matt! It's been years since I've shaved my head. I shaved just to have something different because I have a full head of hair. However, I didn't have a beard back then. Since RONA hit and all the barbershops were closed, I've gone back to a short buzz cut (so almost bald) and I really dig it. I really like the contrast between little to no hair on top to a full beard on the bottom. You with that fedora look a lot like Zach Brown. Awesome look on you. I rock primarily baseball caps. No sunglasses for me since I have to wear regular glasses all the time and I'm too cheap to buy a prescription pair of sunglasses. :-) All in all, a lot of great pointers for guys to implement to change up their style.
The Fedora hat does suit you, Though I've always liked hats that had a flat brim. I can't seem to find any. Nothing wrong with cowboy-style hats, but I guess ever since I saw The Undertaker, I wanted a hat like that. LOL
I agree sunglasses go well with a bald head. wish i could go with more options but sadly due to migraines, i have to have the sunglasses that wrap around the side so im limited to safety type glasses. I need to expand my hat types for sure. as usual great video

i cant shave my head as often as id like. due to sensitive skin. tried it all. the best i can do is every 4 days, shaving it with a shavette and safety razor. but still get razor burn in the back

Shave with the grain until your head gets used to it. Then you can try going against the grain. Follow up all shaves with a after shave tonic and then lotion.
HeadBlade makes a good “Matte” after shave balm. That and carrying a handkerchief to wipe the oil off your head throughout the day should help with shine.

If you have sensitive skin try a foil shaver. I don't get a long with razors and a foil gives me 0 problems and gets it 95% as down as a razor.

I agree. I shave my head every 24 hours exactly. Mainly because I get home from work 12:30 am n go straight to the relaxing head shave lol

I have a naturally oily scalp,so I have a shiny head all the time. Never worry about dry scalp.
I think I would prefer oily over a dry scalp.

I would try a less aggressive safety razor or even the defender with extra sensitive blades.
