Prepare yourself for a defense in the top 5.
Last year's holdovers are young & will be improved.
The free agents brought in are significantly better than those we depended upon last season.
And I think these two rookie CB's will shine too.

I can see and feel his excitement. He knows that his defense and ability to do man coverage has improved significantly from last year. Last year their WR's got burned in every game that they played an excellent receiver. Look at the Vikings and Cowboys as an example. Two hundred plus yards and gave up big plays. If the defense makes a significant upgrade and the offense takes another step they should be better as a team.

Not an AG fan. Fired pretty much an entire staff twice & scapegoated Pleasant who has earned rave reviews from players, colleagues, and bosses since his return to The Rams. Just got made assistant HC, irrc.
RZ defense improved dramatically at the end of last year but was that CJGJ and/or John Fox ? I just don't see the same progression/coherence in approach that I saw early from the offense, even before the wins starting coming. Not sayin' it's been all AG's fault - lots of injuries, failed injury comebacks, and overall lack of impact talent. But if DET is held back by the defense this year without a rash of injuries.....

Glenn made the Lions best tackler Malcolm Rodriguez play FB and ended the Lions best pass rushers streak of a sack a game making James Houston cover TEs after watching James destroy Justin Fields in the open field. It's why Houston didn't sack Aaron Rodgers in his last game at Lambeau in 2022.

Arnold and Rakestraw are anything but speedy. 19th and 23rd respectively vs other corners at the combine. So they must have something else. If you want to start criticizing Brad for his draft picks then you haven't been paying attention the last few years. Gibbs didn't get many touches the first half of the season but was a weapon in the playoff run.
