This video would be useful in a world where I possess one of those giant smart phones. Fortunately, I'm not a teenage girl who spends her life staring at a phone screen.
***** That's true, though sometimes I have female tendencies. For instance, right now I'm trying to come up with a clever reply to your comment but can't.
***** when I made the comment I was a supervisor in a retail environment and noticed that although everyone possessed a smart phone, it was only the teenage girls who were reprimanded daily for being on their phones at all times during work hours.
a pink flamingo is a great choice sir, you'll love it! you can stare at it you can put a little bowl water under it's feet you can pass it on to your chileren when you die! a pink flamingo has countless of uses and will keep your family entertained for generations!
Edison Huntley do whatever you want, just saying i wouldn't buy an expensive smartphone and then cheap out by using a couple paperclips to hang it from the dashboard so then the vehicle's air conditioner can't be used.
I love how you assume that is how someone would text. Honestly that would be really useful for GPS use and phone calls I couldn't imagine someone texting like that.
TheColorblindpony Yeah so do I. That comment is actually kinda scary. It made me realise how weird I must be. I'm only 23. So I'm not THAT old. But I remember using cassette tapes and walkmans and stuff. The first thing that sprang to my mind was "Who WOULDN'T have cassette cases?"
If you didnt spend all your money on a stupid iphone you wouldnt have to have make crappy things . You could just by Chinese made ones for a few dollars.
Sasquash It just makes your phone sound tinny and gives it an echo. It's a neat idea, but it fails in the real world. Setting your phone (speaker side down) inside a roll of duct tape works much better.
Wilhelm Lillyhammer I think its great that you can regurgitate information. In the real world, no1 wants a piece of shit roll of duct tape for speakers. Also, imagine this... Amplification, WOW!!!!
I guess you're not considering speakers that have built in amplification. Like those cheap 2.1 computer speakers that most people have for their home computer.
Wow! I glued together a bunch of cardboard and plastic! My life is so much better now! I even forgot that my mom died last night, I'm so impressed with my craftsmanship!
My guess is, the iPhone is stolen, because if you can afford one of those, you can afford speakers that aren't made of dixie cups and a paper towel roll. This is the most ghetto thing ever. "Hey peep my iPhone holder yo' it's totally made of elastics and paper clips, holds my phone in the car." Go to the dollar store and get a real one, at least it won't shoot your phone into that space between the console and the seat.
Mary Vishnevskaya I was just kidding. People use these things for more than just a phone. As a matter of fact, I don't even make 10 calls a month. (EDIT on 10/28, its 2.5 calls per/mo). I use it primarily for music. It can easily hold 3000 songs (I only have 1500+) & still have lots of room for everything else, (it has nearly 31GB). It can edit songs to however I need them. A big selling point for me was that it can slow a song down to half speed and still keep it in the same key. That in and of itself, was worth the price of the phone alone. For a dim witted, feeble and absent minded, old and incompetent musician as myself, the time and money saved here is many fold. Thanks for your assistance, much appreciated. Have a great day and life.
Lawrence Kedz Okay then that is understandable. For a PC-geek like myself, who doesn't call anyone at all, I use my phone at night in bed purely for skype, facebook, youtube, emails, and games. I listen to music on TH-cam, and often watch movies on the phone, too. It's a great smartphone (sure it doesn't have 31gb unless I use a sd card) but it does everything like any other smartphone, and it didn't even cost me 50$.
i use an old pioneer cd player face case as a cell phone stand. works great and also amplifies the sound a good bit with the speaker being rear facing.
Really hot in summer but you can't afford cold air? Cut a hole in a box then put some ice in it after doing to put a fan with the suck direction towards the ice Suspend or keep on the ground for nice cold air
But it does at least redirect the sound that would normally be going away from you, now the sound is coming toward you, which in a sense may make it seem like it's louder.
Yup--for those retro songs that haven't been mp3'd yet. And cheaper-than-CD used audiobooks. They're also still used in public schools for a few very good reasons: old teachers who still use old tech (because the content can still be good even if the medium is retro), young students with young sticky fingers (who wouldn't dream of stealing anything as sad as a cassette or cassette player), and a tech budget that barely covers internet, much less upgrading audio to state of the art. *sighs*
Well I am not an english native speaker but the answer to your question will be(from my perspective): That you'll play from now to evening. I really didn't understand what you said in the first part of your comment, but what I was trying to say is that there are "9 hacks that you will not remember tommorow" ,you will remember them after couple of hours but not tommorow.I am not used to discuss that much on a joke, but this is an exception.
Those are mysterious devices unknown to this era, which let you hear music without any instruments. With the sound GOING DIRECTLY INTO THE EARS! Can you believe that?
I know, but as part of being a part of Kipkays "super fan club" I get monthly videos which he tells us about in the email subscriptions. This was one of them, so I'm thanking him for telling me about it! :D
And more than likely he takes it from random people or what he sees online. Who knows how long these things have been thought of. People are very innovative. Straight to the point, there's no originality in these from anyone anymore.
*9 things to put your phone/headphones on for some reason.
Fixed it.
I didn't see an android phone here. That's phoneism.
It's because Android sucks.
FaowEU You're just hating because you have never owned an android phone.
FaowEU
Don't even deny. What i said is the truth.
Eston Playz And Stuff False. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5.
FaowEU
Then either say "I don't like TouchWiz." or if you don't like stock android or other skins say "I don't like Android."
You do, however, send your life staring at a computer monitor...
I know right WTF for girls
Why attack teenage girls to make the point that you don't have an iPhone? That was slightly unnecessary.
***** when I made the comment I was a supervisor in a retail environment and noticed that although everyone possessed a smart phone, it was only the teenage girls who were reprimanded daily for being on their phones at all times during work hours.
No one will do any of this.
exqueese me, but it's actually really helpful especially when your bored and plus, recycling helps the environment
I rest my case.
Indians
what do you know ?
agreed
HOW DO I END UP HERE EVERYTIME! DAMN YOU BUZZFEED! *fadeaway*
Tube socks make a great phone carrying case.
I spend 700 bucks and then i make these things for my phone? I don't think so ;)
lmfao ive actually done the ghetto speaker thingy before, funny to see it here
i like that the vid was fast, no long drawn out explanation,,, ain't nobody got time fo that.
I think you're one of the first people ever to actually reply telling everyone what the deleted comment says. I applaud you.

SPEAKER WORKED, MAKES IT TEN TIME LOUDER, THANKS YOU SOOOOOO MUCH
Lies these made my life worse!
I'll never get it out of the ceiling fan again!
That's what the Government tells people!

call customer service now to get a full refund at 1-800-4856935
I already called them, tried to sell me a damn pink flamingo. Government agents, I'll tell you what...!
a pink flamingo is a great choice sir, you'll love it!
you can stare at it
you can put a little bowl water under it's feet
you can pass it on to your chileren when you die!
a pink flamingo has countless of uses and will keep your family entertained for generations!
You mean it's NOT a toilet?
if you can afford to keep filling your petrol tank these days you can buy a shitty phone holder for $2 off ebay
Edison Huntley do whatever you want, just saying i wouldn't buy an expensive smartphone and then cheap out by using a couple paperclips to hang it from the dashboard so then the vehicle's air conditioner can't be used.
Kebapi there's a reason why the filmed less than 5s of it.... it probably fell afterwards..
Why would anyone be willing to bend their credit card just so they can hold their phone up
+Jack Bertelli expired ones
What if it's an old credit card
What if it's one of those fake ones you get in the mail?
1:05 Man, that's some high tech technology there. I'm going to show everyone this amazing talent.
If you can afford to buy a $700 phone, but can't afford to by a $10-20 phone stand for your car, you need to reevaluate your life.
It's called being lazy
That speaker set is like enhanced audio from quick life hacks 8... Love it
hmm.. Where's my old phone card collection?
I love how you assume that is how someone would text. Honestly that would be really useful for GPS use and phone calls I couldn't imagine someone texting like that.
This was published on my birthday and I missed it!!
WELL YOUR RELIGION IS STUPID ANYWAYS!
**ALARM BELLS RINGING**

I like the car one and the speaker one the best. This is actually a great video
Whose got a cassette case anymore--unless you go to your elder's home :)
I saw a cassette case once
joe king How old are you?
TheColorblindpony rigid floppy disks? in 2004? I think dvd burners were availible then.. and usb drives... you're thinking more 20 years ago.
TheColorblindpony Me too, if 2000 counts as the 90s.
Finally! A BuzzFeedVideo, in which you dont need to spend money on awesome trips, bot to econom some money!!!
If you didnt spend all your money on a stupid iphone you wouldnt have to have make crappy things . You could just by Chinese made ones for a few dollars.
I saw the coat hanger thing on buzzfeed's website... lifesaving.
or you could post images...
I really like the cell phone holder for the car! Gonna do that today!
the speaker set does not work it gives the illusion of increased noise but no actual db increase occurs
It's not about increasing volume, it's about directing it and softening the high frequencies while allowing the low frequencies to be heard.
Sasquash I think I'll just stick with an ipod dock.
Sasquash It just makes your phone sound tinny and gives it an echo. It's a neat idea, but it fails in the real world. Setting your phone (speaker side down) inside a roll of duct tape works much better.

HIPSTERS INCOMING
Awesome tech hacks! I think I will try that speaker one.
My guess is, the iPhone is stolen, because if you can afford one of those, you can afford speakers that aren't made of dixie cups and a paper towel roll.

Y'all buy phones that cost 800$?! mine cost me 35$ e.e'
Mary Vishnevskaya mine was $50 iphone
What a bunch dopes, right Mary. Mine was only $701.°°. They're not smart like you and me, right ???
Lawrence Kedz Why would you give 701$ for a damn phone. You could of bought the Oculus Rift.
Mary Vishnevskaya I was just kidding. People use these things for more than just a phone. As a matter of fact, I don't even make 10 calls a month. (EDIT on 10/28, its 2.5 calls per/mo). Бьюсь об заклад, вы собираетесь использовать Google транслет для этого ха-ха

Love the music BuzzFeed uses.
imo some of them are actually really smart and seems effective
always have the best tracks. I want one of my hip hop tracks on here
and now another, thank you, this video (and link in description) is really helpful.
The last one I just made today but with a smaller tube and no cups at the end. And I worked pretty well so I would recommend it.
Yeah, that's just what I want clipped to the vent of my car, a cheap clip and a rubber band. It looks great! Thanks Buzzfeed!
So tomorrow we'll remember them again? I just finished watching the video and I still havent forgotten :o
thanks so much, me and my little sister tried 4 of them, and they worked perfectly.
I've done the last one and it (surprisingly!) works!
The last one was the best one
i use an old pioneer cd player face case as a cell phone stand. works great and also amplifies the sound a good bit with the speaker being rear facing.
i did use the last one
i never use the hacks i watch they are just satisfying to watch
Love the lifehacks as well as funky Asian music
If you don't have a smart phone or headphones do the chord thing for your charger or any chord that you need that is not broken.
Love the last one
If you are home alone and you want someone to have a conversation with, you can use siri as a mate!
Wow that last one was pretty cool
Really hot in summer but you can't afford cold air? Cut a hole in a box then put some ice in it after doing to put a fan with the suck direction towards the ice Suspend or keep on the ground for nice cold air
The only one I would do and have done is the EarPods organiser. I used an expired plastic library card and it works really well!
Those are some funky iCup speakers
love the last one
Omg that last one is awesome
Omgosh...loving this. So creative and so smart to save money :D
i'm gonna try the speaker one right now!
Made the phone holder for my car. It works great!
goddammit! these inventions are simple as a rock from your garden....
But it does at least redirect the sound that would normally be going away from you, now the sound is coming toward you, which in a sense may make it seem like it's louder.
The bright side of having tons of musical instruments around, tape the phone to the mouthpiece from the speaker, sounds come right out of the bell.
Thanks Kip! This ones really good!

Casette tape are the ancestors of CD's. Commonly used in Walkmans in the early 80's until the mid 90's. Until the Discman came out.
The speaker one is so cool ;))
I'm 13 and I remember using tapes, those we're the good Ol days, not having to worry about anything in the world
Omg making a smartphone stand up when your trying to watch a movie is a nightmare!... but not anymore :D
thank you, you just solved all my life problems
waaay better then kipkay. some similiar ideas, but this is stuff that i didn't know before
Salvation for my earbuds!!
*Cheers*
I'm 17 and the last time I remembered using a cassette tape was when I was in kindergarten to first grade. I even had a toy that used cassette tapes.
Well I am not an english native speaker but the answer to your question will be(from my perspective): That you'll play from now to evening.

finally the speaker set is awesome...:)
I won't be impressed with technology until i can taste food on the screen.
People that say they hate technology make me chuckle.
And more than likely he takes it from random people or what he sees online. Who knows how long these things have been thought of. People are very innovative. Straight to the point, there's no originality in these from anyone anymore.
Amazing!
I wouldn't put my expensive device in the holder for the car, though.
Great idea!! Let me just get one of my cassettes........... Oh that's right nobody has them anymore.
long live cassette TAPES!!!!
Last one was sick
the speaker one is so ratchet LMAO imagine seeing somebody with that...but if it works it's okay i guess lol
Whoa seriously, I need to add this one to Favorites!! And I still HAVE some cassette cases!! : )
