I love the older tractors. You have an awsome collection. I remember a gentleman in his late 70s by Billings Monatana had 4 builds plus outside. I had to stop . He gave my wife and i a tour , what an education. May i ask where you are located?

Amazing line of tractors, the amount of money and time needed to restore all those tractors would be insane. Good to see, I actually like most of those lines of tractors.

Nice 'walk around' , thanks for the descriptions too. The Raygo Wagner caught my attention, as I worked for a large Raygo dealer in Canada back in the 1970's. We sold and rented the Raygo vibratory drum rollers. We, at the time, enjoyed a very popular sales business in this Roller series for soils and asphalt compaction.
I still have a couple of the Raygo service manuals .
Thanks again for the walk through (my) memory lane !

Hats off to Chris and his team - there's huge enthusiasm and extreme dedication there! Most people view these grand ladies as nothing more than outdated scrap metal, but it's great to see them restored and preserved - especially the rare and the early serial numbered machines. Keep up the great work!
As I read elsewhere on the same subject: "These icons helped feed us in their day, now we need to look after them in their retirement". So true, and wonderful to see it done so well!
We don't all live in cities and a lot of us grew up on farm machinery. Does Chris put some of these in classic machinery rallies or fairs? Where is his operation located? Also, are enthusiastic visitors allowed? Are they displaying their lovely collection somewhere?
Again - absolutely amazing, nobody else has quite a collection like these! Many thanks.

Is that a fact? In any case it's an admirable effort, but for even two guys it's outright amazing. Thumbs up in any case I reckon, yeah?

I remember working on the assembly line when the Pink Panter came down the line. Never saw it in pink buy in primer as it was headed for the body shop to get it's pink paint job.
I eventually became a welder and welded up a few of the Tiger rear frames also. Otherwise was a rear frame welder for Steiger for 17 years. The Tiger, 427 horse 6 cylinder touted a 24 hour fuel supply.

Mine is a Vaughn that was a navy shop lift.
But it predates hydraulic lift and used worm gear drive and power take off .
It has a single cylinder Wisconsin.

@@bigtractorpower We have a place in West Fargo called Bonanzaville its a recreation of and old town using original building from around the state and they have a bunch of old cars and tractors there a couple interesting ones are the FIRST Steiger tractor ever built and sold and the second is a giant machine to push coal that had been mined out of the central part of the state, this machine was built by Sill Mellroe the developer of the Mellroe Bobcat. This behemoth has two big Cummins engines and like a 28 ft dozer blade on it if you go to Utube you can find it there, its all worth looking at!!

@@bigtractorpower The history of some of this stuff is just incredible. I grew up with a Model A John Deer and I used that for everything from making hay in every step of the game to moving snow with the loader and pulling a machinery trailer for cutting wood in the Fall My dad owned that tractor for darned near 50 years he sold it about 4 years ago, its kind of hard to see something go that has been apart of your life for really as long as you have been around. I got invited to help a farmer this Fall with his plowing not to far from my house he uses all old vintage 2 cylinder gas and diesel John Deer tractors, I cannot wait to hear and feel the old mighty twins under a good load singing their magic!!!

Wonderful video, thank you for sharing.
It`s a shame they are just sitting there, doing nothing.
A farmer local to me in the UK, had a few in his collection, put an advert in one of the magazines asking for help to restore some of his machines, had it written in a contract that if any get restored, he will not sell it to make profit for a minimum of ten years, to keep the volunteers from thinking they were cheap labour etc .
Had a regular band of mostly retired mechanics and tractor fans turn up in one of his sheds, all parts - paints etc paid for by the farmer, and as much tea coffee and refreshments you could drink.
Once a year he held a mini tractor show and BBQ as a thank you to his regular helpers.
As far as I know, they still turn up and help him with his tractors, and not one has been sold.
Wonder if this collector has thought of doing this, might get them restored a bit quicker.

"Awaiting restoration" That's rich! This guy isn't a collector, he's an accumulator. When the 'restoration' has to begin with a chainsaw, you no longer have a collection, it's a junk yard. These machines aren't 'collected'- they're rotting away.
To each his own, and I realize he has a business to run, but don't praise this guy. Someone else might have actually done something with them, instead of letting the weeds grow up around them.

+Nellson Stout Well, he'll be able to work in the shade! Seems to be plenty of 'down time' to acquire and haul them...

Sounds like Deere made a deal with Wagner just to take them off of the market.
I wish the owner would hit lotto and get a few machine sheds built.
At least they are safe (other than from the weather) and not going to get cut up for scrap anytime soon.

The farm is putting up a big shed right now to house many of these classics.

The tractors all run. Some are used in the field. This farm hosts an open house each year and the tractors are out on display.
