You made the best choice you could have possibly made. The W900 Kenworth trucks are the most comfortable, beautiful trucks on the road. I owned a 2004 W900L with a 550HP CAT, and not a day goes by that I don't miss that truck, sometimes I wish I wouldn't have sold it and came off the road. Kenworth is the only way to go, you did well my friend. Great videos, keep up the good work!
Nice truck. In 06 i bought a new Pete. Told the wife that was my last truck. November 24th 2012, I pulled it into the drive and cleaned it out. December 3rd got my first retirement check. I might miss the road, but not yet. The Pete has a for sale sign on it. It was an interesting 43 years.
3:15 brought a fat grin to my face. Beautiful noise, that Cummins makes. I'd always wondered what the ISX in the Pete I previously drove would have sounded like without all the emissions junk on it...
I've driven everything from a 2 stick R model Mack to KW and everything in-between. I love the W9. I will admit that I like the 379 dash better (especially the 379X), but KW tops the list overall. Cubby holes galore, great sleeper (I had a studio), and that great needle nose look. 48 plus Canada and never looked back. Put a 550 Cat with 3:77 rears and an 18 together, and you will smile all day long.
My 2007 W900L with a 2006 pre emis. 500hp isx with straight pipes is quieter than my 1997 pete 379E with a 525hp N14 and it has mufflers!! The N14 is twice as loud with mufflers than the isx with straight pipes!!! Its just crazy!! LOL
I think you have some of the best videos around. That is a really nice truck you got yourself. At least a few truckers are staying true to themselves by purchasing nice-looking, nice-sounding rigs. Keep up the good work.
Much Congrats There! Keep those vids Comming! Im a big Fan of KW trucks so i will be keeping 2 eyes open for your vids! Wish you put them out more often!! Keep o trucking and stay safe out there!
This is a great video , can hear the engine and tires singing on the payment,I hope you do as good with your new truck,as you are at making great videos with out the noise some call music, again wishing you wonderful miles ahead....Johnny b.
I-75N heading down into Cincinnati offers the best city skyline view in the Midwest. Crossing the river on the Brent Spence bridge is risky though. It will be the next bridge to fall in the Ohio.
do you like the w900 better than the 379 pete? i have driven a few kw t600's but never a w900. i personally have always liked the looks of a 379 better but was asking your opinion being you have drove both makes. i'm in the process of looking to buying a truck myself and i'm not sure which one would be a better truck.
Hey Danny gr8t vids ...What made ya decide to get your own rig? All I been hearing is the day of the independent is gone and there is no money in runnin your own truck.?
If i won lottery i will defo be taking scania torpedo with the longline cab. over to the states all painted and chromed up with some big stacks straight through of course with some big fat super singles on front will look like shit hot
Yea when i drive standard i dont feather the clutch i let it out really slow at the engagement point but i drive my dad 18 wheeler for practice feather clutch when it started rolling so it can catch but it still jerked
Congratulations buddy! Best wishes with the machine. If possible in message, what is needed to purchase my own truck nowadays in US, thanks, and congrats again.
your need to adjust your footing ot adjust your seat, i too had that problem as i am training for my CDL at the moment my father told me to bleed most of the air out of the seat. and put my foot at the bottom of the pedal sort of at a angle toward your passenger steer tire. That should fix it need to easy into it also and dont back out cause it will only make it worse.
Matt Chambers the direction your foot faces has nothin to do with it you just have to feel it.....taking off smoothly is all about timing not foot placement or the way the seat is adjusted

Love to hear that turbo spool up, sounds like a jet engine. Man, makes me want to get back on the road again.
Hi 👋 was trying to figure out your location when I realized that interstate bridge crossing is in Kentucky and Ohio. Cool 😎

Jason D I used to drive an 01 Volvo with a 525 n14 straight pipes let me tell you that thing was an ear hurter hahaha
