If so, does his 6/6 cars mean he can reach insane crit rate and crit damage levels by taking damage and getting healed? There's no mention of a bonus cap for his 6/6 cars
I don't think he necessarily has to be close to death before he either starts to hit hard or tank better. He just has to lose the HP. If he's paired with a healer on his assist slot or you have a healer in the line-up, he'll retain the accumulated damage and damage reduction stats and still be closer to full health as long as he gets healed by a healer.
I tried him in the trials and he seemed pretty good and usable but for me personally I compared him to Evil Ryu and it felt like they was ultimately very similar with a few exceptions. The way they play (survivability by shield or damage reduction and decently big hits) felt very similar and particularly when looking at their overall role. I think anyone summoning for him is getting a decent unit but I'd prefer to push other units I'm already building. I have Sagat at SS and Trendy Cammy at SS and it feels like both of those would be more useful to me personally. Not to mention with first anniversary coming around I wouldn't mind keeping my options open for if anything else shows up.
My issue with Balrog is that he came very late. If he had come a few months ago, he probably would have been great. But at this point, he's been very heavily powercrept by all of these great tanks like Gouken, new Honda (heck old Honda too) and both Abels tbh. He just came out too late to be worth the diamonds.

Fashion blanka is the only true full proper f2p unit. Within this game though people call factional units f2p despite them being summonable, So everyone knows what I mean
i can see why the other guy said roll for balrog right now. i think he ment for the long run when u have got all your champs at sss so u can maximize your level cap??? thanks hayzink i was on the fence about getting this champ..... theres better champs than him and id rather roll for other ones instead. with his kit i consider him a A tier champ. definitely not a broken champ like others.....

Do you think Rich Honda is worth getting the grants for to get him another 2 copies? Going for Suit Abel through the Choice Recruit as I can get 5 copies through that but I don’t know if Honda is worth spending actual money on 🤷🏻♂️

Totally agree with you there. Half Price garbage is still garbage. (sorry Balrog) and all the additional resources , there are other , better ways of getting them over time. Not worth blowing all the tickets and diamonds.

There's better units in infernal the only reason I see people SSS him is for the +5 levels.
