Good stuff bro. The PS3 and its appreciation in general is aging like fine wine. These are suggestions off the top of my head for high quality at a decent price. I’m going by Canadian pricing so you’d probably find these for much cheaper. GTA 4 complete edition for $27 most expensive but the game and its 2 dlcs reputation speaks for itself. All on one disc. Arkham City Goty edition $11 Infamous 1 or 2 $10 Skate 2 or 3 (1 is great too but I really need that option to get off the board) $12 Saints row the third the complete package $13 Ac Black Flag $7 A motorstorm title $5-10 A Resistance title $5 -10 So around $100 or less . I found most of these actually around $ 3.99 at pawn shops. I’m not too into motorstorm or resistance or even Killzone but I’m fond of them because they’re stuck on ps3 like Infamous. These are always easy to find and dirt cheap lol. Think a lot of ppl would have fun with them they’re just cool games. I would have to go with Last of us as my fave though I played the ps4 remaster version. Nostalgia is Stranglehold. Huge fan of the actor Chow Yun Fat and some of John Woos great films. A Better Tomorrow (my fave) and The Killer are amazing crime dramas. Maybe read up on them a bit and see if it interests you, I’d highly recommend them . 👍
Thank you bro! Totally agree that it’s aging like a fine wine haha. I completely forgot you can’t get off the board in skate 1 I really miss the skate series I’ll have to check those shows out, appreciate the recommendations. What games have you been playing lately dude?
@@FranchisePlayyerthe last game I got through was RE4 and not the remake but the original GameCube version lol. For no reason I always slept hard on Resident evil and I wanted to rectify that. I decided to start with Re1 but it was tough with the tank controls so I put it down and went to Re4. It was very worthwhile but my only gripe was the pacing and sense of urgency in the story seemed to stretch itself out too much for my liking. I think it’s because I spaced out my playing time too much since I could only really play for a while on the weekends that it felt like it went on too long. Really wish I played it in my youth but nevertheless it is a great game and I’m sure it’s much more streamlined and engrossing in the remake but I think the original will always have a place. I know you recommend the ps4 remake of Re2 so I look forward to getting to that one. Lately I’ve been impressed with this tennis game Top Spin 4 on the 360 . I’ve always been into Tennis but never gave much interest in actual tennis videogames. Saw it cheap at a game store and said why not. I now see why people claim it’s the best tennis sim game ever it’s damn good man. What about you?
The RE2 remake is definitely worth trying out man, I hear you on the tank controls that can be brutal on some older games haha. I’m not a big tennis fan at all but tennis videos games are always a good time. I’ll have to try top spin out since I’ve only played virtua tennis
I would add GTA4, GTA4 2dlc on disc, Demons Souls, L.A Noire, Battlefield bad company and vad company 2 (great single player) and mo used to be amazing before ps4 cane out
I've quickly built up a collection for my ps3 through goodwill auctions. Most of them in good or excellent condition actually. Got some games I never played or knew of. Enjoying Midnight Club LA so far. One for the list: Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway. Not a perfect game but worth a playthrough and should be under $10. I think it's a bit underrated and wish they'd bring this series back.
John Woo is a legend! He just released, Silent Night which in my opinion was great! Check it out! Stranglehold is one of the best fast paced action games ever made. Mirrors edge, and the remasters of ICO & SOTC… Great video for people with a budget and wanting to start! Much respect!!!
It’s always a good day when you release a new video man! Solid picks and video idea. I used to play the Stranglehold demo over and over back in middleschool haha. I thought the gameplay and ragdoll physics were amazing (still is). Speaking of Stranglehold, the collector’s edition on PS3 has a John Woo movie called “Hard Boiled” on the disc which is freakin sick. I’ve been meaning to watch the movie for years! One of these days. Resident Evil 5 gets a bunch of flack, but I think it’s fun as hell especially if you’re lucky enough to play it co-op with a buddy. If I had to choose one game out of these 10 (not thinking about other consoles/ports), I’d have to go with TLOU every day of the week. Last, but not least……Fallout 3/New vegas, GTA 4, Red dead redemption, and Little big planet are a few cheap recommendations as well! I’m down to play something again soon too! Cheers man.
Stranglehold definitely doesn’t get enough love and you’re totally right bro RE5 with a friend is pretty hard to beat! Can’t go wrong with fallout 3 I know it’s not perfect on ps3 but I still love it. Let’s play some TLOU online again soon dude that was a great time. Thanks for watching brotha
Every single one of those and many others are 100 yen (about 70 cents) in Japan at any of the hundreds of Hard Off stores in the "junk" section (meaning perfectly playable but maybe the case or manual is dirty or scuffed) and if playing on a console set to English, it will likely play the English version. I suggest coming here to stock up for the PS3 and others (unless needing non-Japanese versions for collection purposes) I know $100 doesn't allow airfare and hotel, but when I go through Akihabara recently I see tons of people taking advantage of the weak yen and stocking up on rarities!
Yeah even the “junk” games in Japan are usually still in great shape. I haven’t been to Japan since 2022 but would love to go back and game hunt/have some great food. I picked up a PSP last time I went Do you live out in japan?

Love the Ps3. Here in Luxembourg the games cost 5€ each or 3 for 10€ in Cash Converters
3 for 10 sounds like a great deal
@@FranchisePlayyer in the UK we can get alot of these for £2/£3

It’s nice that a lot of great ps3 titles are still under 10 bucks. I’ve seen people get some decent pickups from the goodwill sites

I'm so glad I started collecting for my ps3. I want to collect 100 cd for it so far I'm at 70
Nice dude 70 is a super solid collection
@@FranchisePlayyer yeah it is but I still got along way to go I recently bought a ps4 to start that collection
When we getting that PS2 collection?
I actually don’t have a ps2 collection currently. Starting to build up an OG Xbox collection and thinking of selling my GameCube collection
Good ps3 games!!!😊😊❤
Great games indeed 😎
