Do your research well before coming to Public spaces. I Doubt he knows what a Battery C-Rate means. Most Lithium batteries have ratings of 1C, which means you can safely discharge the entire battery capacity within 1 hour, as long as your wire gauge sizes are right for the highest amount of current you want to draw. So, saying you can only use a 3.5kva inverter for a 15Kwh battery with 1C C Rate is absolute Bullocks. Stop passing out wrong info. Read and research more to get better @ your Job.
True be said most of the people into solar system installation don't really know about this solar stuff. He was also using KW for the battery energy capacity instead of kWh 😊.
The guy needs help. He is not even grounded in electrical or solar technical know-how. These are the people that give renewable energy experts a bad name.
If you’ll be using a hybrid inverter, there’s no way you’ll use a 3.5kva for 15kwh battery…it’s inbuilt controller will not be able to handle all the panels
- 15kwh with say 80% dod it will be like 12.5kwh, if u use a 1HP inverter AC at 750 - 800watts for the whole night. That will be roughly 16hrs if u run just the AC. This battery i believe is 6000watts normal running and 8000watts surge for some seconds, which means u can use up to 6000watts continuously without any problem. Pls get ur facts right. -
Am a Jamaican and this Nigerian is misleading People. He don't know much about solar system work. He need more training before he come on talking to People. I ave a 3000w inverter and am using 15kwh lifepro4 Lithium battery and am running my home with all appliances you just ave to manage what you use at time such as don't overload your system. And you will be fine good to go okay.
I don't think you understood his angle. He might not be clear in describing it well. You shouldn't have issues with 3kw inverter powered with a 15kwh battery.
This guy is underdimensionning the loads, saying only 3.5kva inverter on a 15kwh inverter is not really true, do not even forget that during day time, the actual power consumed by hybrid inverter is the one coming from the panels and only if requires more, takes the extra from the battery. Hence you can even use slightly higher than the recommended if sun is out, even possible to use microprocessors to alternatively power different parts of the loads (example water heater to be powered on when supplying amps from inverter above a define threshold while pumping water in a tank for another threshold etc.) Definitely depending on your installation and accessories.
What on hell is this guy talking about? Please go and learn how lifepo4 battery work This big battery you are seeing.Have 16 Individual battery inside depends on how many Am Each of the is? Each battery is about 3.2v x16=51.2v
There is a lot of different between lithium and lead acid battery, Lithium batteries provide 85-100% of their stored capacity, regardless of the rate of discharge. Lead-acid batteries typically provide less usable energy with higher rates of discharge close to 50% only. Lead-acid batteries are cheaper and are easier to install when compared to Lithium-ion batteries.
Oga why you dey disagree with everybody na.... Na inverter dey determine load the solar system can carry whilr the battery determines run time.... Dude was just confusing himself...
I frankly don't understand whst hes saying about using 3.5kv on 10kwh or 15kwh battery. First, 15kwh is equivalent to at least 6 tubular batteries. That battery can carry any size of AC upto 3hp. It's the run time that's the issue. I have never heard battery vibrating oooo.
His explanation of the inverter size to the battery is wrong, the inverter can take any load within its rated range and drain the battery much faster, and the cables between the inverter and battery may develop temperature if it's not properly sized, the issue of vibration is what I don't understand.
Batteries vibration are notable things you will see from batteries that are loosen. The screws holding the case might have shifted during handling. You need to see where these load carriers handle these batteries, you will wonder if they actually know the implication of handling things the way they do. When larger currents are drawn from a battery, the tendency of vibration goes high hence if it is not held properly, you notice those sounds.

When I heard this guy speaking, i knew he's wrong, the comment section confirms that.
Believe this guy at your own risky 😂

We literally have this battery at home, the 17.5kwh system…once we consume anything more than 2500w, it start vibrating but we don’t mind it though.
@@omotoshogoodness I have heard this from another installer called @solargod he is really good.
@@omotoshogoodnesscheck the screws holding the case of the battery.
It is most likely lossen due to handling issue during carriage.
5,760watts normal running
9,600watts peak for 10secs

'was expecting him to talk about the DOD.

This guy is talking nonsense
5 tubular battery is not up to 15kwh
220*5*12 not up to 15
6pcs Connected Connected in parallel.12×7=72v x220Am = 15.840 watts
@@tonyodukwe wrong,u are using 6 battery, it should be 12x6x220am
12v220Ah is 2640 Watt hours
12v200Ah is 2400 Watt hours
I am even confusing the more with this explanation.
This Man doesn't know anything point of correction is the inverter that does the work all you need is to have 5kva or 10 kva inverter
I disagree, he actually said a few things that you should note however the explanations weren't standard.

Highly disappointed! This installer dey yarn dust; technical knowledge is lacking.
Lol 200ah is equivalent to 2.2kwh
Please delete this please this guy no Notting about batteries and inverter
