So my guess is the first clip where she marks and uses observe is the "social stealth" as it was said she'll always be hidden if she's not doing anything suspicious. I don't hate it because clearly they made other type of stealth more in depth but it's definitely won't be a hitman level of social stealth which I get will be a bummer for some people
@@kamenriderfourze2358 That's not how social stealth works though. The guards have no reason to attack her. She hasn't pulled out a weapon or attacked them and she hasn't gone into a restricted area. Social stealth is when you kill enemies in a social area like in public in the middle of a group of people and they don't notice you because you are hidden by all the people in the group. Another example is killing from a bench in ac mirage.
10:42 Wow, such a novel idea, so original in fact that MGS5 came up with it 9 years ago… Sorry for the sarcasm, but when the “new” ideas are just things that existed in Splinter Cell, Hitman and Metal Gear for years it’s hard to be enthusiastic.
@ It’s cool that the stealth is getting deeper, but I miss the things that set Assassin’s Creed aside from the other series : The social stealth, the in-depth parkour, the importance of the modern day and the conflict of ideologies. The fact that you can crawl in an AC game just seems surreal to me… At least it looks like the people who enjoyed the newer AC games will have a good time with this one, and honestly good for them.
@@kono_dioda87 Fair, but let's be honest, stealth was never AC's strongest suit. All we really had was social stealth and... that's it. Crouching was limited to bushes and tall grass. We didn't get a proper crouch option until Unity, the eighth entry in the series. You're not wrong, but many people who don't like modern AC act as if the stealth was so much better before. It wasn't. And in this instance, I would say the excitement is valid since not many games actually have a prone feature like this. The only ones I can think of are Metal Gear and Call of Duty. Splinter Cell didn't have it, Hitman didn't have it (at least in the WoA trilogy). Not even Ghost of Tsushima had it, and people love to glaze that game as it being "Assassin's Creed, but good."
actually they always listen most of the times.. but the problem is the game have to released in horrible state first... now they choose to delay it and it's the best decision.
They’re literally making splinter cell using this game they’re testing out the mechanics and so far it looks like splinter cell reboot might end up being good tbh
They've shown weather to be pretty important and even here when it's raining Naoe is wearing a heavier outfit. Here's hoping that there's at least a light system where weather affects the character in a visual way. Otherwise it will be immersion breaking to have all this dynamic weather but you can just run around with no consequence. Especially because the weather affects Npcs and enemy behavior. Which brings me to the point that i hope UBI can get more comfortable with more stuff like this that grounds the player in their excellent open worlds. More dynamic open world mechanics that has us interacting with the world for enhanced immersion. Red dead 2 seems to have done this perfecty. Not too much that it's frustrating but just enough that it allows you to role play. Id also like more in game interaction from UBI rather than changing stuff in menus all the time, which results in this start stop gameplay cause im always pausing! This is NOT good. If i want to do something, have it ingame. Red dead 2 also did this, you can swap outfits, weapons, shop, build a camp and many other things in game, you rarely stopped and went into a pause menu. This held the immersion and kept you grounded in the game world! Everything mattered in that game world because it had a dynamic ecosystem. Something as simple as needing more ammo. Well you can loot it from enemies, or you can take a knee and craft some. If you don't have the resources you can hunt animals for them or you can go to the gun store and buy some. And the crazy thing is all these interactions are in game, from crafting to interacting with an actual catalogue in the gun store or even just grabbing the ammo from an actual shelf in store. Id love to see more stuff like thus from AC games. It makes the open world more tangible. AC origins got as close to this because it actually had a dynamic ecosystem that was running real time. The only problem was the player was limited to just watching it as the only way to interact with the world was traverse or attack!
I’m sure the game will be great but geez they are really overpricing their games now days. $120+ for the gold edition is insane! After the bs I went through with Avatar I’ll just wait until it goes on sale next year lol
they are telling new things about game at a pace that i am sure they would destroy hype, and disappoint people because people instinctively assume more things

If they really wanted to get rid of Yasuke, this delay would not be so short. He is a protagonist of the game. Removing him would take a serious amount of time and work. Definitely not something that could be done in a few months. They'd have to restructure a lot of aspects of the game.

In the first clip she walked right past enemies and could assassinate them no problem so Social stealth is still there just no highlighted outline.
