I’ve learned that it’s important to have a life outside of your relationship. Nurture friendships,nurture familial ties and most importantly spend time with yourself. Find a hobby to just for you.
And also having a partner that give s you the space to have your own social life.

Thimna just always seemed way more emotionally mature and in tune with her emotions. Libho just seems so nonchalant about a lot of things.

I realized this during their relationship when they did their TH-cam Q&A. He said the 1 million was all his when asked what they plan to do with it. He then masked it with laughter but you could tell he meant it. The fact that they weren't on the same page was sad.
But also he's much younger than she is so they're not on the same level. You can hear that he doesn't wanna commit but he also doesn't want to lose access to her.

The outfits definitely create a chilled atmosphere, chilled and honest chat. I wish they had designed the studio the same way. Like cute couches and cushions. That would have made it perfect. I enjoyed the chat.
I honestly feel like a lot of us get into relationships for ourselves, by that I mean we dont really consider each others feelings, " I know what I want if you don't then bye" type of attitude, we don't think about compromise, balance, support, and understanding. Relationships are built, it's two personalities coming together, we won't be ready at the sametime for everything, somethings we'll need patience, I guess the question should be , "am I willing to build the kind of relationship I want with this person... This is a dope concept by the way, great episode too.

Before I knew Thobi and Lizwe have broken up, I noticed that Thobi was different, her energy was different, you could tell from her post on Instagram that something wasn't the same anymore, only to find out she and Lizwe are nolonger together and also Lizwe was a bit different, on Instagram he stopped replying to Thobi's comments and on the videos be was different, he was not like he used to be before.

Treat your partner like you would your child
1. Give them your all and expect nothing except for them to elevate.
2. Accept that some days you will be bored by them or angry or even just want your own space.
3. Accept and dont regret doing a few selfish things for yourself now and again.
4. There is never a reason for you to make them carry your past baggage before them.
5. Dont be too vunerable around them, people like thinking its cool, but in reality its draining to hear someone complain all the time. Think of a divorce mother whining to the kids beke le beke, its just not healthy.
6. Dont hesitate to spoil them when you feel like it.
7. Most importantly, accept that they might outgrow you oneday and that that may be a good thing.
8. They dont owe you nothing and if they do, its not perpetual. You're not a slave owner are you
