Really interesting and as always, a great job. Super clean too. Not only are your vids good for other contractors, but all-in-one trades like me and homeowners too. Every day is a school day. Thanks again.
Awesome work super nice and clean my friend !!!! Killing it like always !!!! Good job on how clean n careful u handle the concrete hose !!!! Good job bro!!!!! Javier doing what he does best !!!! Beautiful work !!!!! 👍
What I would pay to work under you and your crew for a while to learn this trade. I wish I had a trade. Hats off to you and your employees. Hard work and attention to detail goes a long way with keeping and attracting new customers. Great work and keep the videos coming.
Coolnetworks I just mean like I can only imagine with such skilled and dedicated workers like them, or what their form of having fun or playing would be you know? Whether it be a simple Weeknd with a beer and quality time with family and friends or fixing up a restoration car or something you know?
Great work as ever. Best in the west. I've got a question. Does having a straight up stunner like Kristen in a customer facing role (you mentioned she does some estimates) help with public relations?
Are you usually able to trowel it flat enough that no leveling compound would be needed even for something as sensitive to that as sheet vinyl? Obviously nobody puts sheet vinyl in their living room but I'm just curious.
Nicholas Huss because the new owner doesn’t like it. In the very first sentence of the video he says, “these were real popular in the 70’s and a lot of people are filling them in now...” So it’s just an out of style design.
Somebody called Brainstorm HQ is using your videos on one of his posts... not sure why or if he has permission but I thought you should know. Keep up the sterling work Anthony!!
An idea for the rebar, when cutting if you have many that are the same size measure 1 and use it as a template for cutting the rest by just dragging them down along the rebar cutter. Not knocking your method I’ve just found this way to be more efficient. Good job!
West Coast Custom Concrete thank you. I’d gotten a quote for quite a bit less and one quite a bit more. After watching you. I can tell you more than know what you’re doing. Thank you
At SacState..engineering dept. teaches us that concrete weighs 150pcf (per cubic foot) times 27 cu ft per cubic yard = 4050lbs, just over 2 tons. Fun Fact..the Dry Unit Weight of compacted soil can be 10-30% more than concrete. Coz ur a homie, can teach ya how run a “Modified Procter” soils compaction test, or most other common ones :)
That's my dada you are the best in the west. Your work is the best!
Thanks honey!

Good one! You have inspired me to bust out my two inch line! I always pump with three inch, but I am going to give my 2" a go again.
Right on brother. Definitely go for it!
This shows you can do it all when it comes to concrete. You have all the equipment and good finishers. No one can compete with the work you do.
Thanks nick👊
Like I said before you are going to kill it in the rest of 2020 and you are going to own 2021!

Excellent job, it’s nice to see a experienced craftsman’s work that comes out perfect. Keep it up.

HI, Kristen, From the East.
Atlanta, GA
great, looking amazing brother, thanks for sharing.

Great staircase build. Just got two questions:
- Is the rectangle that I see at the bottom of the stairs a drain?
- Did you install handrails?
Thanks
Yes that's a drain. Yes on the handrails

Sweet job, nice work

Was the sunken floor due to a bad compaction job when the house was being built?
Great work as always..
No it is an intentional design. It is sunken because the elevation of the floor in the living room is lower than the rooms around it.
Gentle Man then y would it need to b poured level again if the original design was to b sloped?
Nicholas Huss because the new owner doesn’t like it. In the very first sentence of the video he says, “these were real popular in the 70’s and a lot of people are filling them in now...”
So it’s just an out of style design.
Gentle Man oh I c, must have completely missed that. Thank u for clarifying that for me. Have a great rest of the week. Cheers!
Great work muffin.

Made that look easy 😀

Órale best in the West, what happens when Charles leaves and he has extra or left over concrete what happens to that unused material??
Good question. He takes it back to the plant and they dump in to a wash out pit
It's interesting to see you.. Do things very differently than we do in Chicago.
👍
Hey Kristen..Phoenix, AZ. 💘
Oh also...nice concrete work

They make it look easy. But it's not easy. A Good Concrete Flatwork Tech is hard to find.

Where do you wash out your pump? Where does the water go? Curious how that works.
I pump it into the ready mix truck
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete Thanks!
what the drawbacks to using concrete for the floor rather than wood
Moisture problems
What’s a project like this cost? From rebar to float. I have a similar home. But I’m in San Diego.
5.800
West Coast Custom Concrete thank you. I’d gotten a quote for quite a bit less and one quite a bit more. After watching you. I can tell you more than know what you’re doing. Thank you
Do you take out the expansion foam or just leave it?
I left it. They were going to install a wood floor.
How much does a project like this cost?
10-12 per sq ft what u charge? A lot of people think that’s too much when I quote.. what do you think?
I think that price is more than reasonable and I would stick to it 👍

When I was a kid every house had a sunken living room and a bar. My Mom vacuumed it if she saw footprints on it you were dead.
Oh man me to
Beautiful, beautiful job! (but what a shame the homeowner removed one of the few architectural elements from that room).
It was kinda dangerous.
Looks great!

Have you ever invested in a electric rebar tier?
No.
