It happened a few other times too in the last 3 month where it gets here but gets sent somewhere else and then comes back, I don't understand it. I wanted to place an order for some supplies for my business, but the supplier uses USPS. I ended up purchasing the supplies from Amazon since I know they will deliver the items. I emailed the small business about the issue, asking them to open up other shipping options so I could continue using them over Amazon. I hope they do since I'd rather support small businesses like my own, over big businesses. 😕
Amazon is a joke too. I needed an SD card for my job, they guaranteed delivery by Monday, and I didn't get it until Wednesday! The multi-million dollar company threw an insulting $5 at me for me potentially losing an income. This satanic world, and this super lame apocalypse, sucks.

While the powers may be mentioned in the constitution, what isn't in the constitution is the inflexible postal union which makes it nearly impossible to increase efficiencies as UPS and FedEx have done. There are plenty of newer package sorting equipment out there for the USPS to upgrade to, but in doing so will result in lost jobs. So the postal union fights it. The postal union is the obstacle.

Saint Louis MO is a nightmare of a package losing facility! Whoever is running that place doesn't know how to run it. Packages supposedly leave there but do not end up at the next facility. This year we have had 1 package lost entirely, they took it off of Informed Delivery but I can still type in the tracking number and it still says "Moving Through Network In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late January 18, 2024" but will not let me file a complaint because it is still in "transit"! Most packages move smoothly through the system until it hits Saint Louis and then it will leave and go back to Saint Louis several times before it goes to the right place. Another package took an entire week to leave Saint Louis this month! An ENTIRE WEEK! It had traveled through several states in a timely manner until it hit there.
USPS needs to be held accountable for late mail delivery causing late payment fees. I figure the USPS has cost me hundreds and getting close to thousands of dollars in late fee charges. We need a nationwide bill to have the USPS held accountable and to reimburse consumers for those late payment fees that they incur due to mail being delayed for 3 weeks or more. I mailed a payment 30 days ago and still has not arrived at the location. It is so very frustrating and not fair to the citizens of the USA using the USPS.

Hundreds were closed then and we are now seeing the results of that action from 2008 and onward. As a regular user of the USPS, this is a problem nationwide especially on the West Coast (CA in particular) and the East coast (NY in particular). This is nothing new for anyone using the postal system. Postage was raised from 2008 to 2017 at the rate of about 255%. Just now this IS an election year and ALL members of Congress are getting their two cents in about the delays and often theft of mail. I have a good relation with the window clerks and my local carrier that comes that they are frustrated by their own local postmasters lack of really caring whether the mail is properly dealt with or not. This outrage at the delays and non-delivery of mail has always been a political issue in election years.

There were never any noticeable delays until new postmaster DeJoy (Trump appointment, not Obama) started implementing his drastic "improvements"... Now some letters/packages that used to take days now take weeks to arrive. I'm in my 60s and have never seen this level of slowdown with mail!

The worse delivery service is on the East and especially the West coasts. Mail is not delivered on a regular basis esp @ Los Angeles. New sorting equipment is being installed at Regional centers and closure of smaller central centers has been happening for the last decade plus.

I have a part needed to fix my riding lawn mower that is currently late. The USPS let it set in a distribution center for 4 days before it moved to another distribution center that it is currently setting in. This is management's fault, not the workers. Where is the Congress? Do something. People need to be replaced. The old system was working. The new system is a failure!
I think this is happening in Albany and Troy, NY. My lawyer sent me a check on May 21 from Albany to Troy (20 min away). Its June 3rd, we haven't received any mail whatsoever for at least a week.

Its a problem here in wichita, ks. The local main post office/sorting center won't use the new sorting machine to capacity. Local mgmt won't allow manual sorting either, this was how it was done before this sorting machine was bought. Its taking weeks to get packages, etc. The postal union national rep was here last week and did an inspection. Rumor has it that this is being done on purpose so the parcel sorting can b moved to KC, also moved from Tulsa to KC.
March 7th,2024 my ex mailed out a 30lb package of all my important and personal items. SS card, birth certificate, iMac, 2 iPads, brand new Jordan's basically everything I really need after a 12 year relationship ending which is hard enough to deal with but I finally talked my ex into shipping all my stuff and now this. USPS called me 3 times now and confirmed my package is sitting in warehouse and told me it could take up to 6 months to get here and another told me a month. Here it is march 25th and still ain't received. I need my package now! Tracking says still in transit but hasn't updated since the 12th of march. USPS told me nothing they can do and to wait as I asked if I could go to the facility and get some to look for my package. I have a nc id that needs updating to ga in 30 days but that law will be broken as all my documents are in the missing package. HELP!!!!!!!!!

Take the ballot that was mailed to you, vote and drive it to the city office. That way, your ballot is guaranteed to arrive.

Its a problem here in wichita, ks. The local main post office/sorting center won't use the new sorting machine to capacity. Local mgmt won't allow manual sorting either, this was how it was done before this sorting machine was bought. Its taking weeks to get packages, etc. The postal union national rep was here last week and did an inspection. Rumor has it that this is being done on purpose so the parcel sorting can b moved to KC, also moved from Tulsa to KC.
No excuse for how consumers are being treated. I use UPS and FedEx as much as possible due to our horrible experiences with USPS.

March 7th,2024 my ex mailed out a 30lb package of all my important and personal items. SS card, birth certificate, iMac, 2 iPads, brand new Jordan's basically everything I really need after a 12 year relationship ending which is hard enough to deal with but I finally talked my ex into shipping all my stuff and now this. USPS called me 3 times now and confirmed my package is sitting in warehouse and told me it could take up to 6 months to get here and another told me a month.
Here it is march 25th and still ain't received. I need my package now! Tracking says still in transit but hasn't updated since the 12th of march. USPS told me nothing they can do and to wait as I asked if I could go to the facility and get some to look for my package. I have a nc id that needs updating to ga in 30 days but that law will be broken as all my documents are in the missing package. HELP!!!!!!!!!

The problem is at the local levels across the country. Poor local management, new machines, and failure to teach employees how to use them, is what investigators reported for the Texas delays in Missouri City. The entire USPS system has been decaying for years and now it's come to a crisis. Maybe try UPS instead?

Alabama Mail Delivery Service is Awful Too. Mail is Place in Wrong Mailboxes. If the People are nice they will bring your mail to you or place it back in their mailbox. Uncaring people open the mail reads it then discard it. Thank GOD i can walk to my Pharmacy!!!!! 😂😂
