Great video. Really like seeing the different offerings from Fujikura and how they compare to each other. Would be nice to see a graphic of how the ball flight differed with each.
Ordered me a motore x and sim2 3w today.. I have oban devotion in driver and hybrid they literally feel the same, though dispersion was tighter and distance was better with the motore… felt so pure
I have a Tensei pro 60tx and now have a Ventus Black 6x in play for my driver. For me I found the Tensei to be loose/weak feeling in the butt. For me the Ventus is night and day better!
Great vid as always dude. Loving my TM sim 3 and 5 wood with va drago shafts. In my driver fitting ventus black performed the best but haven’t ordered it yet.
@@trottiegolf I was buzzing yesterday at the bbq watching your videos and I caught that late lol, but hey can you sell me one of those foam Taylormade golf balls ?? Please ! Birthday is in 2days i want that for a picture
Great vid Trottie 👍🏻For someone who also launches the ball too low with a left miss (c97mph chs) should I be looking at replacing my 10.5 SIM MAX with a 12? Currently game a hzrdus red 6.0 (62g) in my SIM max
Richard Brelsford you have to keep an eye on spin, going to 12° will increase spin significantly. The SIM heads spins less than the max so if you consider 12° then that’s worth a look, beyond that don’t underestimate the loft sleeve, I have a video coming on better players & going towards “higher” but I’d start there before buying another head..... do some initial testing, work on your delivery & see if you can find the happy medium in terms of swing & optimum ball flight ⛳️
I play the Ventus Black 6x in my driver. Love it!!!! Trottie what would be a good fit for the 3 wood? Mostly used as a tee club. Dam Covid makes getting fit hard
Rob Couch for a tee club the ventus black could work but in a heavier weight, an easier recommendation without seeing you hit it is the ventus blue 7x . Good luck 👍🏻
Kyle Parker I’ve noticed I’ve had to lower mine as well, don’t mind it because I’m getting more control, but the difference in tee height from my ts3 I’ve found needs to be lower in my sim as well
Cheers Chris I have been going round in circles bought a new stealth 2 which is awesome but it doesn't feel quite right checked the swing weight and it's currently d and a half 👍
As a lefty its hard to find a selection of shafts with LH hosels. If I use a RH hosel in a LH SIM head is it simply the settings are reversed ie +1 is -1 etc???
Love the videos and the information helps me when I go into looking at clubs and understanding what I am looking at. My question is when you said watch the ball flight and roll out. I understand the flight is the "window" that I would like to see, however what am I looking for on the roll out? Is it direction of the roll, the amount of roll? Thanks in advance.
My M3 Tensei blue shaft got snapped in a car accident on the way to the course, was already thinking of changing though, swing driver at 110ish and get 160-165 ball speed I play at Heswall which I know you know well so very soft in the winter and firms up in the summer. Spoke to Atko and play a lot with him so he knows my game but sadly HGC doesn’t have any TM stuff for fitting/testing, I could just order the same shaft again but heard a lot about Ventus and velocore, what would it be like in my M3 compared to the tensei ideally I’d be looking for a similar or marginally higher launch and less spin currently have the head set to 9.5 with the weights forward. Obviously it’s very hard to just test a shaft independent of the driver head and I work away in the navy so it’s doubly difficult. Cheers
Hey Zac, really tough for me to blind fit you but Ventus Blue will be perfect for winter as it’ll fly a touch further and spin, then Black is gonna be strong. I think move the weights away from the front and you can handle black all year around. Hope that helps and good luck #wirralmassive✌🏻
hey Trottie, I just purchased a sim max 10.5 with red ventus regular 5 Red I got It cut down to 43.75 from the standard 45.75. I lost a ton of swing weight so I added a lighter grip to balance It out more It then measured out to c9. I went back a few days later added hot melt to get the swing weight to d1 but now I cant hit the ball to save my life. Not sure what I should do next! do I buy another shaft or add the stock taylormade grip back on? thank you so much for these super informative videos! #teamtaylormade
Senior flex, regular, stuff or x-stiff? Currently on senior flex because of some back issues but I'm worried I'm leaving out a lot of distance. 7 irons lucky to hit 125, average 110 it's tragic. Any advice trottie? Or any golf provicionados
Watching this Trottie Stripe Show makes me want to live on the driving range. Trottie - I assume you recommend building a relationship with a fitter so players are comfortable with having this type of dialogue during a fitting experience? I remember in one of your previous videos or podcasts talking about taking ownership of your game. Same applies to a fitting. Love the 🧅s Trottie! Well done. Fuji Kira is my go-to driver and fairway wood shaft. #TourTruckTuesday @iamdemeco_27
De'Meco Deanes thx fella & I see you’re dropping the #tourtrucktuesday and getting ahead of any potential giveaway 🤣.... love that! Here’s the thing, a great fitter will be asking all these questions without you even thinking about it BUT as a PLYR if you can take the fitter on your own journey then you a) save the number of full drivers you hit, therefore you get more accurate numbers as you’re fresh b) you work towards a true reflection of what you want on the course opposed to that club that simply pleases the launch monitor. I do have an upload coming about not just working on making the monitor happy but always thinking about your own swing & the delivery numbers you create (stay tuned) BUT ultimately yes you have to be guiding your experience of a fitting down this path & taking ownership of the outcome ⛳️
Paul Engel yup me neither.... had an absolute shocker with this recording but rest assured it’s fixed for the upcoming vids. Gotta be honest I’m a complete novice when it comes to recording and editing so if you have anyone out there looking to assist then the vids could come A LOT thicker & faster but like all things we can only go as fast as the slowest horse and video work is my slowest 🐴 🤣......

Great info as always 🧅 I did some prototype testing of the Ventus Black with Marshall that was pretty cool.
Motore has F1 and F3, kinda like the black and the blue Ventus. The F1 6X and 6S is my favorite shaft…and I have tried a lot

Blue will be firmer in the tip. Player dependent on SW but D3 - D4 range is a good start point

Scott Allen good question & you should be looking for a large first bounce on medium to firm fairway conditions ⛳️
As I watching roll out and seeing the bounce in the ball, what is the concern with getting a ball that has a large bounce in terms of height.
F1 or f3????

That length will impact your attack angle potentially in a negative way
