A year of lockdowns has me also doing things I have never tried to do before!! OMG!! I have changed my thoughts that there are things I can do!! I just need to try!! I have my first vaccine so I am still home and just still making stuff!! Thank you to both of you ladies for getting me to stretching my brain and work on things I never would have even tried.
Hi Robynn, I think lockdown has given many of us an opportunity to try things outside of our comfort zone as we’ve all had more time on our hands and of course boredom soon kicked in. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed experimenting with new ideas , that’s so lovely to hear ❤️
This was an amazingly creative session. You were able to create so many lovely elements from your Masterboard. I love all the pieces, but my favorite is the cover for your black scrapbook journal. (I am going to keep my eye for one when I can shop again)Won’t be long now! I have had my first shot, just waiting for my second one at the end of the month. I am debating whether to put the Dana Wakely collage collectible on my birthday list. I worry that because it is so beautiful,I will be afraid to use it. Too bad the pages are covered both front and back. Trying to decide which side to sacrifice is always a problem for me! I am so glad you are so decisive! I need a strong role model! TFS I did. I must admit it was the fact that it’s both beautiful and double sided that has stopped me for using it and also the reason I ended up buying 2! I’m glad you enjoyed this session, I love the journal cover as well and it was lovely to use the paper clip packaging that I had been hoarding for a while waiting for the right project to use it on. Hi Nina, just a quick tip a friend shared with me. When trying to punch out a scrap of paper, tape it with washi or making tape to a bigger scrap to hold on to for easier positioning 🙂

Your master boards just keep getting more interesting all the time. This may be my favorite. I love how you creatively divided it to show off the different patterns. I usually divide mine equally whether postcard or ATC. This gives me some great ideas. I also am intrigued with your mini collages. I have been playing with some lately using vintage postage stamps. Soo fun. Great video.

I thoroughly enjoyed doing the mini collages during the first lockdown but had no idea what I was going to do with them. I want to experiment more with mini collage. Glad you enjoyed this video ❤️

Do I understand that you are almost sorry to use the pages of the book, oh yes I do, but I try not to do this too much, some times you have to make room for new things. But I totally understand it. As ever, brilliant. A masterpiece from a master board!! Gorgeous. Love collage, not good at it but I love the reactions I receive from people which are usually, what does that number mean? what have you put there? etc and I just ask them to see in it what they will It's either a narrative or a concoction of designs and textures, so make your own mind up. You are the champion of the collage, Nina.... well, in my book, anyway. Thank you for sharing. x

I may start a masterboard. I'd have to take it to the printers. My house is where printers come to die. :) I loved watching this and I was making ATCs during your video. It always helps me with ATCs to be watching a mixed-media artist.

Hi Nina, do you ever photo copy papers like from Dina's book and work off those pieces instead so you can keep the book whole? I don't know if that's allowed, is it allowed. I have some papers I'm loath to use because they are too pretty.
Hi Wendy, whilst I have no issue copying my Masterboards where I have used pieces of the papers to make my own artwork for my own,personal use, I wouldn’t feel comfortable copying complete pages as it would breach copyright. I hope that helps 💕
