Good morning nina, a messy desk most of the time brings lovely creations, at least for me, you sometimes see things, you could not have thought of in advance. I recognised some of the images and pieces of wallpaper, that always makes me happy, seeing you create something beautiful with them. This journal will be beautiful. I am ready for my second cup of coffee and a lazy sunday, enjoy yours too and have a good week, love and hugs lenaxxx
Good morning Lena, I agree, if it’s not in front of me, I tend not to use it. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the images you sent me, and some of them were just perfect for this this weeks challenge. The sun is shining here, so I am heading into the garden to mow the lawn. Enjoy your lazy Sunday and have a wonderful week. Love and hugs, Nina 💕 xxx
All your pages are gorgeous, Nina. I love what you have made here and I think they fit so well into your beautiful journal. I'm so enjoying this month's prompts and I agree that the forum members have come up with some amazing pieces of work. Many thanks as ever.
I never where you're going with things then when it all comes together it's like magic. You are definitely the queen of layering. I love them all! So inspiring x
Thanks Martin, I think we often feel guilty for making simple pages, but less is more sometimes. Look forward to seeing what you come up with. Happy Creating 💕
Beautiful work, again, Nina. You make working with bits and pieces look so easy. It can be a little daunting, a bit like sitting in front of a blank page or canvas. Love the simplicity and choices you made for each page. Thank you for your inspiration.
Your creations today are just stunning! The images you selected, the lace trims, composition, and placement are just perfect in every way. You are such an inspiration! I love your style and still feel you have the Midas Touch!! I have never been disappointed by your prompts, creativity, or banter. You are a blessing to others. TFS. I did. God bless and stay safe.
Hi Nina, I love watching your videos and then crafting with my sister Yvette while we try out your suggestions! When I was a child, my mother taught me a sure-fire way to get rid of stubborn fabric creases. She mixed 1 oz. of white vinegar in 8 oz. of water and put it in a spray bottle. Dampen the fabric lightly with the spray and then iron the fabric. I have never had a failure using this technique! Thanks Mom!
Love them all, especially Owl,and field mouse 😁.Love how recently you just whiz off and use your sewing machine.About 18 months ago,you would be shouting Alex to do it for you 😂.Oooh, that’s handy! I can post the art I finished yesterday! X
Thanks Lynda. Haha, I have been practicing a lot recently and I’m feeling a lot less fearful of my machine. Your owl is perfect for this week’s challenge. You are one step ahead again ❤️🦉 xx
Thank you so much Nina, I really really enjoyed watching you create those page’s. They’re really really stunning and gorgeous, and the linen panel, is charming too. Every single page is really really stunning and gorgeous and charming too. I’ve watched Kylie too. You both have done stunning things. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Hello Mags, thanks as always for your lovely comment. I had some lovely images to play with that were perfect for this prompt. Have a wonderful week 💕 xxx
All the pages you have done are just fabulous and very inspiring, haven’t been crafting to much lately but I feel I might be joining in this prompt, one of my favourite subjects to work with birds and wildlife, take care Nina, xx
I do love your pages, Nina! They turned out splendidly. I do wonder about your sweet mouse; if he eats some of those mushrooms he might go on a vision quest. I also love the tiny bird on the small page a lot.
I saw your video when you initially painted the beautiful blue bird on the round teabag. I love where you’ve positioned it in this journal. Outstanding work as per usual. TYFS. 💙🦋
Oh my, NIna, these pages are Beautiful. I have to try and find the video about the Tea Bags. Your tea bag is so beautiful, I want to try and create some. Thanks for all sharing all your work.
Haha, well no not really. A lot of my pages are asymmetric like this, but I still cannot bring myself to do ‘on the wonk’. I just don’t think I have it in me as it just isn’t my style 😁❤️😘
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia no I know I'm just teasing, if it's not you then there's no point in forcing it.... This is staggered which is just as nice anyway... 😁😁😁😁💖
Gorgeous layouts Nina! Look at you creating asymmetrical compositions....😉 🌺🦋🌺 I was thinking with the Braille paper dies that mean your mouse is 1/3 of the famous 3 Blind Mice trio?! 😂🤣☺
Hello Nina! I’ve been watching you for a while now. I don’t believe I have ever commented. I love your process and your work is so pretty. You do a fabulous job! I have a tough time doing things. My inner voice keeps telling..don’t try, you are not artistic Kris... I am trying every month to do a monthly challenge with Cat Hand. You are in my top 3 people to watch.
Hello Kris, thanks for your lovely comment. It’s lovely to hear you are following along with Cat. She’s a great teacher and very inspiring. I learned a lot following along with her first Mixed Media Morsels challenges. Keep going with it, as it really is just practice. I think many of us have that debilitating inner critic 💕
"Don't over-think it, Nina". I hear you say that every time I hesitate when I'm creating. And it helps. Thank you, Nina.
Haha, I’m glad it helps you too ❤️
