The funniest part of Demetrius arguing about tomatoes being fruits is that while fruit is a taxonomical term, vegetable is a culinary term, meaning that while tomatoes are indeed fruits, they're ALSO vegetables. So he's still wrong 😂
not sure if this is the vibe you're going for with this playthrough but the shop overhaul mod makes the npcs sell more types of items, like pierre sells mixed seeds and ancient seeds, and robin sells kegs, garden pots, and jars, so much more to steal! excited for the next 100 days :)

Hi! I'm not sure if you're aware but you can plant mixed seeds directly at ginger island for a higher chance of wheat! They can be rhubarb, pineapples, blueberries, melons & wheat I do believe
Cactus fruit also doesn't need to be inside cause they can also be planted directly on the ginger island farm, so the seeds aren't completely useless, they can keep the tiles tilled while you wait for more ancient fruit

Wasn't sure if I'd enjoy this because I really prefer vanilla SD, but the shoplifting mod fit perfectly in with the challenge, it was very interesting. Very much enjoyed this, and I went back and watched some of your other SD videos, you still talk pretty fast but it is slowed enough to follow along with fine. I really like all the randomness of SD and how every playthrough is different dependent on the random things you get. I had a farm where I fished up 2, TWO, iridium rings from one chest on my first day getting the rod! It was bonkers, that was way back in 1.3 I think. Anyway, thanks for sharing the fun!
the thing about cutscenes is that watching them and picking the "correct options" will increase your friendship with villagers. the numbers vary, but the biggest friendship gain in a cutscene is 250 points. biggest loss is 1500 points. then again i can see rewatching the same old cutscenes over and over again can get pretty boring, so skipping them IS fair 😅. im just mentioning this just in case you didnt know. we all learning something new everyday after all lol

People always stopped like a week or two short of finishing the year always bothered me a bit xD And for days 203 & 204, since it was weeds you were cutting in the mines, maybe you were looking for more wild seeds? Seeing you were on the hunt for wheat seeds.
I really love the shoplifting mod... Right now I am still to scared of installing mods, but I think about puting it on the list, together with the villager icon map. And I am really glad to not be the only one, who absolutely adores the crystal path tiles :D
Qi's Cuisine is actually a super easy quest, you'll lose some gold to it, but if you just buy i think around 160k worth of coffee, youll be able to turn those into triple shots and get 100k of that back in turn, i will say though that it is very much so a win more quest, ie, only really works well if you are rolling in money.
Your first 100 days made me go download this mod cause I have on a survival mod which is really finicky and hard to manage, so since I'm just starting year 3 now in that save with it, I've stolen SO MUCH food and expensive stuff lol
This is what i have started in this video, i played the rest of year 1 then did the full 2nd year and mentioned that going forward games with yearly cycles will be played in full years! 💖 it wasnt my idea to begin with though and def not saying in any way i'd be capable of starting a trend but i hear what everyone is saying and it really does make sense!

I downloaded the expert bundles mod and it is quite the challenge, I'm in Summer year 2 and confident in completing most of the bundles this year The fishing tank requires all iridium fish so that's a ways off but all the others are getting there and the vault doesn't change at all
Not sure if anyone else has commented but if you put paths in the slime hutch the slime eggs/ball things won't spawn on top of them and you wouldn't need to enter their fenced area at all

You play the game, something that takes days. I usually take a minimum of 6 hours per season. Then you edit the good clips in, make the script of the voiceover, record it over the video, and then edit the voiceover correcting any mistakes. Wow, congratulations on your motivation and hard work. I could never. As a former youtuber wannabe, I have some suggestions if you don’t mind. Maybe you could do a video per 1 season or 2, instead of a whole year. More videos means more money, because of multiple views. I get it if you prefer it like this though. 100 days of … videos are popular, and maybe you prefer working on one video at a time at your own pace instead of 4. Either way, I’m sticking around. I love your videos.

If you use paths/tiles in the slime hutch, you can prevent the slime sacks(?) from spawning in the fenced in area with the slimes :) love the series!

its a great tip for a normal playthrough but i cant buy from stores for the most part so this was out of the question for me this time!
