- I played 100 days of Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, Lunna - Astray in Stardew Valley and East Scarp! This would obviously have been a longwinded title so i felt "Mega Expanded" was a better alternative since I didnt just want to say I played 100 days of modded Stardrew Valley, and actually we played the full first year!

If you want to be REALLY out of control as a loot goblin use the Item Bags mod. Bags that hold items that go in your rucksack.
I'm not gonna lie, the sheer amount of new items in expanded and ridgeside village had me downloading better chests and the chests anywhere mod. I usually stay away from cheaty or gamereaking mods like the tractor mods and others, but the chest mod makes sense with the expansions, especially when you're trying to befriend everyone lol
@@simak363 chests anywhere is one of my necessities! Truly helpful, I can’t imagine not having it anymore. Especially because I’m a hoarder 😅
@@Kyliem97yeah thats the only "cheat" mod i have since the larger backpack mod just doesnt cut even with only SVE and RS cause of the sheer amount of items
you are right about the cranberries, they grow in bogs and so they do flood the bogs to harvest the cranberries, its a really interesting process actually, but also i would suggest not looking to much into it if you dont like spiders because unfortunately the spiders are necessary workers for the health of the cranberry bogs
Oh yeah I found this out the hard way. Thankfully I’m okay-ish with spiders.

so has anyone told you about the couple of other little hidey spots on grandpa's farm yet? There's a couple near the pet house, one of the left and one on the right, behind the unchoppable trees. The other two are located at the top before you go to the woods area, one left and one right. They're there to let you decorate more places on the farm so you'll be able to grab or finish that backwoods pathway.
You can also configure the extra fences on the farm off so you can have a bit more room to move around on it
I also recommend checking out Odd Jobs in Ridgeside to avoid those mad animals at a cheap price
I know it’s a bit late for this playthrough, but for anyone else adding Ridgeside it’s a good idea to check out what the shops are selling especially in year 1 :)

also, i recommend getting the mod “part of the community” so friendship would be easier!

Idk if this has been commented by someone else but the reason all the villagers say you smell is because Keahi pranked you. You should've seen a cutscene with him beforehand where he "pats you on the back", but he was actually putting something really smelly on your clothes.
ohhhh i didnt even notice this! i think i did also have it more than once and it might be the trash that was probably in my inventory too 🤣
The flickering of some objects might be because of Ridgeside village's FTM file? I was having an issue recently where the assets for you that were flickering straight up weren't showing up for me. The issue was solved by me redownloading the mod (even though it hadn't been updated in the space of time since my last download) and that helped since it reset the FTM file and doesn't interfere with anything you've already done

Your 100 days vids are so fun to watch and thanks for introducing me to East Scarp, it somehow completely slipped past me. Can't wait to get the time to watch the next one!!
Also Maddie from Ridgeside, despite her initial, but understandable rudeness is my current fave, her 8 heart event hit like a sack of bricks for some reason 😭
There's a *lot* of good NPC's but I've yet to find someone who beats out Sophia for me. She's v much my type and her story is so *so* good, you wanna talk inclusive and hard topics dive down her storyline (highly recommond)
Also this feels like it needs Free Love (the mod) and a "how many people can we marry by end of 3rd year" challenge.
Your problem with the path piece at the end - that's what those little secret paths on the farm are for. So you can reach the edges of your farm to decorate without leaving the map.
Regarding the items clipping in the Amethyne mansion, we have that too so I'm wondering if its just an issue with the mod? Also highly DO NOT recommend adding SVE, Ridgeside and East Scarp on a co-op game, cause between the sheer size of the map, and all of the events/cutscenes you get sometimes get so little done in a day if you leave Pelican town due to no time pausing in multiplayer. Also some cutscenes triggered by the host can cause the other player(s) to be forced to watch the cutscene too, which is fine except for when it happens on your way home at 1am and by the time its finished its well past 2 and you both just pass out
managed to fix the clipping by reinstalling ridgeside, and installing sprite master which also helps load times (not sure which fixed the clipping but it's good now!). as for co-op, thanks for the tip! absolutely makes sense
I think villagers tell you that you smell if you have trash in your inventory. At least 2 or 3 times so far when you mentioned that, you had a bag of trash

Your videos inspired me to play SVE and I started a farm with my brother, and it's the first time in years that we've managed to do something nice and collaborative together (sibling fighting to the death lol). Also added some more mods over time and it has been really nice. We are both not super social, so I'm only really starting to talk with a lot of characters in the second year, while we have already finished the community center xD
If we ever start another farm together or both lose interest in how things are currently, these extensions look like a lovely way to experience new things :D
Not really related but I wanted to share the fact that I fished all legendary fishes except for the juniors but can't fish the ice pip (not sure if that is the name of the fish)

I am living through your videos rn because i just started playing stardew on switch so theres no mods and I'm already overwhelmed, i cant imagine with all the mods added now. But this is so fun to see in how many ways this game can be expanded on top of already a huge amount of content so the gameplay can last for YEARS, I'm still shocked about the price of this game. This expanded video is so fun so i can't wait to get more familiar with the game to explore mods too

I just started a new playthrough (i have am addicted to mods- like in any game😅 BG3, Stardew, Minecraft, Sims4- i just love what fans can create)
And this time i wanted like a forest elf theme so i decided to not marry Sebby (hes my favorite!!!!)
It was so hard to find anyone else i would like but then i started to love June!!! Hes so adorable i love him so much!!! Also i want to unlock Jio too cuz i have no idea how he acts as a bachelor ❤

i lov ur videos i ryly doo but i ryly wish along side of expanded u took immersive farm isntead of grandpas farm every one play on this one i dint see a single game play whit immersive farm (at least the ones i watch) and that farm is ryly cool.but oh well cant do much about now u alredy play the new game still i loo foward to new episodes or any play true u doo.

It’s a maybe for sure! I only really started playing it again to test some different settings because it was giving me severe motion sickness (like, would play less than 30 mins then would need to lie down to avoid throwing up), but once I found my settings I hyperfixated 😂 if I do I would probably reset to do it
Okay I know the ads don't normally match up but when she said she was lost in the woods it popped up with a horror movie ad that started with GET OUT so that's well timed thought for a moment that it was part of the mod like a jumpscare type thing

are villages commenting that you smell because you're carrying trash when interacting with them? you seemed to have trash in your inventory both times. It has to be part of a mod though, never seen that happen in vanilla games

I think my favourite Modded NPc is Victor. He's such a sweet bean. As for favourite Now romanceable person due to SVE is The Wizard, Magnus Rasmodius. He's a bit awkward at times but i love him nonetheless plus he teaches you magic

Also, Ridgeside mod seems to be very inclusive in the fact it adds someone for just about every group to identify with, so its very possible she is

I dont know if anyone mentioned this but my theory is when villagers say you smell its because there's a literal pile of trash in your inventory
It's actually because of a prank Keahi pulls on the player where he puts something smelly on your back
(I had the same thing happen to me and I was SO CONFUSED until I looked it up)

Haven't finished the video yet, but I despise fishing too. I've found that spamming crab pots really helps to level it. Not sure if that would help you at all though.

the trash fishing is easy if you fish in the water in front of the spar you get just trash plus your next to the bin you need to put it in
I never use the cobblestone path as I use it for my automate connector

i write them whilst editing! i tried taking a couple of notes to help me as i go along but it ruins my flow when im trying to focus on playing so it really is a case of scrubbing through all of the footage. most other creators probably dont do it this way but it's what works best for me! ^.^

first year - cc, gifts and in case board asks for them
second year: cooking/crafting ingredients
third year onwards: money, or if i just feel like growing something!

How did you get the forest sword? When you can't access those woods until you have upgraded your ax?
you can get them from crates in the mines or from boss slimes too :)
