I played over 100 days of Stardew Valley's 1.6 update! This update was SO much bigger than I ever could have imagined, and in many ways, I feel like this update was MADE FOR ME, and all of you loot goblins out there! Here's what happened.

Every time you complete a quest you get one star, and you receive a ticket as a reward for the third
quick everybody, Emma posted the valleys favorite loot goblin and former city witch is back.
I love your skull cavern loot reviews. Whenever I'm watching somebody else and they don't show off all their loot I'm always disappointed
I haven't been feeling well, and thus I haven't been able to play anything due to being constantly dizzy. But last night I discovered this video and it was everything I needed while recovering. I cannot wait to see you on this farm again, and I plan on watching your old videos in the meantime.

The big chest can be put down on top of regular chests and the contents will go into the big chest. The regular chest gets broken and goes into you inventory. Hopefully that makes sense.😅

Thank you so much for all the hard work - an almost 2 hour video? We are spoiled! Love the timing too beause until now I avoided watching the videos of my favourite Stardew Channels to dodge any spoilers. And I love that you had the exact same excitement for every new little detail that came with the new update as I had. So heartwarming! The 1.6 vanilla playthrough is also the first one for me to bring to Perfection, even though I have 700 hours in tha game now. Almost done, lacking just a couple of millions for the golden clock :3

To be honest Sam is my favourite vanilla bachelor.
I first married Sebastian because who doesn't love a "bad boy" with a motorbike? But then Sam won me over just by being the embodiment of a golden retriever 😂😂😂
Sam is my fave. He just makes me feel happy and lighthearted. So your comparison to a golden retriever is perfect. Or a goofy yellow labrador.

I agree with you. That said people attributing "bad" due to silly stereotypes is long standing. I don't recall if it was youtube or a podcast, but it's both sad and hilarious that for centuries now media has news stories about how tattoos aren't just for insert stereotype. Tats been getting sold on being "bad" dating thing to do when people of very walk of life been doing it for as long as. It's pretty wild how a tat, leather jacket, motorcycle still symbolize certain things. There is some pain with one and danger.
if you give someone stardrop tea on their birthday you get like 4 hearts
AND you can still give a normal gift too!
Found out recently on the wiki you can apparently give multiple teas at the same time as well! Wild stacking!
I really like your play throughs. I, myself, have just completed a Joja run on the 1.6 update and achieved perfection. I really can't understand all the hate for Joja, tbh. I wouldn't like to live in a town where there was only one place to buy groceries and sundries. Having more than one store that sells similar items encourages competition, thus lower prices. Also, you have Pierre's who opens earlier and Jojamart which stays open later, which is super convenient. I guess I won't spoil things for anyone who wants to do a Joja completionist run, but the ending is really great. Morris came through far more likeable than he was during the game. I'm glad ConcernedApe did that as it gives Morris a little depth to him that was lacking, and, in my opinion, should have been in the vanilla game all along. I never understood why he made Morris such a cardboard character when he went to such lengths to make everyone else interesting. That would have made choosing a side a bit more difficult, if Morris had his good side and his not so good side, like everyone else in Pelican Town. Anyway I do love to watch your videos. So keep up the good work.
I don’t like it because it’s ugly 😭 The other community centre is so cosy, vs the Joja one. The supermarket is a bit of a sore thumb in a cute town. So, I guess it’s mainly aesthetics for me. 😂
@@ragnhailtBut it will eventually be turned into a much nicer looking movie theater than the old Jojamart building. So aesthetically it is better in the long run. Maybe I'd feel differently if they actually used the building later, but they don't. Also I really hate that a supposed close knit community couldn't come together to fix up the Community Center themselves instead of leaving it to a stranger. Robin will tell you that she volunteered but Lewis never got back to her. So, eventually after going the CC route several times, I really thought about what the dilapidated CC really meant and I became disillusioned with the whole concept of fixing it up. As for the Junimos, I figure they didn't really need my help and that most people that do help them will have the Wizard build a Junimo hut and use them as unpaid labor on their farms, which I never have. And besides all that, why does Morris have to be run out of town. He's not a high ranking member of Joja Co. In fact, if you do a completionist run for Jojamart and make it to the summit Morris will be there. He has a surprisingly sweet take on Pelican Town and Stardew Valley in general.

I really disliked the look of the moss, especially on the oak tree. Looks like nose snoot. I remade it and now moss looks like flower vines! I love how easy SDV is to mod.😊

Omg! We chose the same dog and named it the same thing!!! For the same reason too!!! I started my playthrough a few weeks back and didn't know what to name my dog so I asked my partner, and he said Gandalf!

For your next chest sorting session, you can just take a big chest and put it on top of the small one and i will switch it. No need to take everything out and put in the new chest

the grass that animals eat actually does grow on the green tiles. makes the grass tiles usable like that outside from just making on farm tree farms or places to put your buildings on
strange... i cant seem to get it to spread, but have found i can still place grass starters at least

Meadows Farm is so good, you can get easy gold mayo for Luau, which is loved!
Trow an enchant doll into the lava area (where you fish the lava eel) and hand what you got to the plant in the wizard basement, trust me, it's worth it
There's actually a new (and rather fun/interesting) loot drop from the Haunted Skulls in 1.6 that's certainly something.

Audio books are slower, but it's pretty easy being read to, as long as your player let's you get back where you left off easy.
I really need to get an eink reader, better for my eyes. When all other mediums fail, I fall back to books. Libraries have much more than just books, too.

a mod that would help with fishing is called "mouse fishing". it takes a bit to get used to, but man is it so much easier than normal stardew fishing
My favorite has got to be the mastery skills!
Also I'm not sure which update they added it in. But if you have a full chest you can take your axe and swing it as you're walking into it to push it. It goes in the direction you're walking into it. Not sure if you can use your pickaxe or hoe, haven't tried using them yet. But axe for sure works.

Don't know if anyone commented it yet, or if you figured it out after, but with a big chest in hand you can click existing chest and it will replace it without having to take everything out. =D
it genuinely blows my mind how bad i am at stardew valley when i watch people play (in all seriousness your videos are amazing, you are super skilled and i really enjoy your editing style :D)

unless it's changed what i have heard is they cant start a storm, but if there is already a storm it'll extend it!
17:40 I don't think you got the ticket cuz your inventory was full, it happened to me before. There's not a sprite for it on the ground so you gotta just empty a spot and walk around until you pick it back up
You still get the ticket if your inventory is full ! It was because she accepted two quests for the same ticket so only one is awarded

it's in the base game settings! when you go to where the zoom % is, theres a checkbox for zoom buttons!
