I missed your videos! Glad to hear more of the world is calling you and you are going towards it. Another TH-camr I follow just came back from a road trip in Argentina (he was doing a challenge to only use bitcoins) and it was breathtakingly beautiful. Mendoza was so gorgeous! Thanks for all your honest reporting in your videos. I do feel I can trust what you say and it’s not just for the likes. We are headed to Colombia this July for scouting. I am in the same boat as you- where do we want to land🤔.. family plays a major role that’s for sure. I’m excited to see the adventure thru your eyes😊. If slow travel becomes a longterm thing, you should consider a Patreon or a way for your subs to support you.

Thank you Rochelle! - In general yes. Slow Travel is going to evolve for us. We're also working on efforts to get more consistent with posting more routinely. The biggest problem with that is corporate jobs... lol.

If it makes you feel any better, as a native speaker of English, I was also confused by what Chicken Fried Steak was when I first heard the term. 😄 Sorry you had to leave Colombia! In truth, think you belong there (as a base to explore the world) and will end up back there eventually.

This is likely more than true. We just haven't made the effort to buy a legit place or establish our long-term presence. However, I predict this for ourselves in the future, especially Bogota. --- Love that you have felt the same about Chicken Fried Steak!!!

    Great video, guys!
I sure do understand your need to see what else is out there. Cuba caused a stirring in my soul that caused me to question how I could ever think that Canada was my "home". After 10 trips back to Cuba, I decided to see what else was out there for me. On Oct 30, 2014 I left Canada & started looking for my ideal retirement place. Now, I'm just pretending to look for a retirement place as I continue to knock places off my list of places that I'm curious about.
Canada is merely another stop over on my slow travel journey around the world.
I wish you luck as you expand your minds and your lives. Travel is the only thing we buy that makes us richer so, go as far as you can for as long as you can.
    Stay blessed.

As much as I like Colombia I feel Argentina has much more to offer.

I can see that! - Just spending time in Buenos Aires alone, the infrastructure is better for the movement of traffic and amount of people. Bogota, as you're likely aware, isn't designed to move the traffic of cars and people it experiences. --- The one thing Argentina doesn't really have... Is family. That's in many ways the biggest pull to Colombia over time.

Nothing compares to the natural beauty and the party vibe of Colombia; the kindness; the happy vibe. But, it also depends on what you are looking for. Just because it has more Europeans architecture does not mean it has more to offer. Colombia is not centralized. Colombia has many more cities to visit. It is like 11 countries in one, which makes it a very rich and diverse culture. Argentina is more centralized, almost everything happens is in Buenos Aires, is spite of being a larger country. Argentina has no beautiful beaches or lush green, even less the Caribbean vibe.
No way Argentina has more to offer, but perhaps, it is your perspective because you just look at architecture.

You're welcome to comment away and we are more than open to feedback. - The honest truth is we've treated this channel as a hobby, but are looking to change that. Recent learnings have revealed to us that we need to work on thumbnails, titles, and some editing techniques.... We're all ears, what do you have to offer?
