That is not true. CF has stated multiple times that they still try to go after records. I think the giga records were just a little bit too much for CF to try and reach again with costs and a record breaking ride isn't what KI themselves wanted. They wanted to take advantage of the land topography.

Where do you think this will go? I'm perfectly fine with this coming to Busch Gardens Tampa, but location will be difficult. The best area that comes to mind is the animal reserve, which I doubt they want to touch right now, as, well, there's animals on it. Gigas are massive, and fitting into in a park that already is using a lot of its space will be difficult.
Speaking in terms of versatility, bus gardens is one of the best parks in the country. Cedar point is by far the best for coasters alone but bg tampa has the most versatile and universality for everyone. Amazing coasters and thrill rides, tons of kids rides, shows, animals galore, games etc..... a great family park
As much as I wish that this would happen. I’m pretty sure Florida has building restrictions and you can’t build rollercoasters over something like 240 feet. I don’t know if it’s still a thing but I know we used to have restriction and that’s why Florida coasters are not as tall as they probably could be.
Wish this was real! So so badly wish this was real! Between this, iron gwazi, montu, kumba, cheetah hunt, and sheikra this could be one of the best line ups on the world! Almost unbeatable! Would also definitely knock fury off the top spot
Wow nice layout. Hope this park can break the giga records oneday. I know it can fit in the back of the park since they need something back there. I’m just not sure where the lift hill will fit.
First off, great concept coaster. I can definately see a coaster like this in the northwest corner of the park. That would place the entrance probably in the jungala area, which definately needs a signature attraction. However, as much as I love elephants not sure it fits the theme of that part of the park. They currently have orangutans and tigers displayed in jungala, but this monster feels like a gorilla (king kong comes to mind), a black and silver paint job and maybe a name like "Silverback". BGT can also add a world class gorilla exhibit at the entrance of the coaster. But the ride looks amazing and would be an awesome follow up to Iron Gwazi.
If Busch Gardens added this, they would easily become one of the top parks in America. Like they would become a Rollercoaster Landmark for the state of Florida. Busch Gardens is also one of my home parks so I have a special place in my heart for it. :)
I alter park maps for fun and am so glad someone had the same idea of a giga in the same general area! I named mine uproar wand made it golden yellow with brown supports, plus a new jaguar exhibit
The only way this would be possible is if they made a 150ft trench for the drop since all costal areas have a 200 ft height limit for non free standing structures and i would love to see that and if this comes out then there would be a group i like to call " The Elite 4 " including BGT, Cedar point, Enegylandia, and Fuji Q
That's taller than Fury. However, BGW is getting a Giga too, but it's a launch coaster with a huge twisted spike. It's 355ft too. And it's in Drachen Fire's spot, what I've heard is that the unoffical name for it is Drachen Spire. However, I hope Tembo also comes as well. But this isn't likely, as RMC has had a concept in mind, a single rail 500ft T-Rex coaster, which will have chainlift, and will be tallest coaster. And S&S is debuting their Axis Coaster soon too.
I like the concept, and the large upward helix, but a ride that big would have a midcourse brake run somewhere, as all the coasters there at Busch Gardens do with the exception of Scorpion.
Will Jones Hopefully they would take notes from intamin and use a cable lift system. 350 feet with a chain lift it take well over 2 minutes to get to the top.
