The ride theme is sick however both ghostrider and silver bullet are both already themed to mining, so maybe this would make Ghost towns coaster themes even more redundant, but it’s so cool that I would not really complain if it where to somehow become a reality.
This would be a great addition to the Park and the Skyline. Beyond the record breaking size of this coaster, the theme definitely anchors it to the park and the Ghost town. Gives it the impression that the coaster has been here for decades. Now we need a rollercoaster manufacturer who can design this coaster to sing like a sparrow. Love the engagement of the coaster with the tunnel and other mining elements. References to the forgot Model T Livery Barn would further awake the memories of Knott's past. There is also an missed opportunity to have the coaster engage a monument structure at Beach & Crescent. This would improve the gateway from the south. Great job and look forward to future videos. There's practically still enough energy to do an airtime hill, a left over banked turn, a right turn helix, another small airtime hill and a left helix turn into the brake run. 1:55
oh hell yeah amazing creation and the concept fits this park amazingly, however there would be major legal battles from surrounding neighbors in Buena Park. This happened when xcellerator opened nearly 20 years ago due to noise from the roller coaster. I know this because I still own a house that i rent out right across the street from Knotts my family bought this house in 1973
Our coaster design process begins with creating the initial layout in FVD++. Next, we import this layout into No Limits 2 for further refinement and support placement. Some supports are modeled in Blender before exporting the simulation data, supports, and track spline back into Blender for scenery modeling. The B&M roller coaster looks great, but I think that it would cause some car crashes to happen, because the drivers will be looking at the new ride and not paying attention. Sadly, the city of Buena Park can't do anything about the neighborhood areas on Western Ave and Cresent Ave, Knott's Berry Farm will never be able to expand itself. So, the next best thing for Knott's would be to destroy the Soak City water park across the street. That place has been there since 2000, it's a waste of space and only operates during the summertime. It's time for Knott's Berry Farm to expand the park over there and maybe bring back some of the past rides. Like 1980's Soap Box Racers, 1987's Kingdom of the Dinosaurs, Tampico Tumbler and Grand Slammer, 1990's Boomerang and X-K1, 1996's Hammerhead, and 1997's Windjammer Surf Racers, as well as adding new rides too.
I absolutely love this idea. Except for one thing….the parking entrance/drop off as I think it would be a traffic nightmare in this configuration. But the coaster itself is perfect.
Seriously, even if it’s not a giga, Knott’s needs something like this. A crowd-pleasing airtime machine with great capacity! And I love the theming!
