Falcon's Flight - Six Flags Qiddiya | 607ft WORLD RECORD BREAKING Intamin Roller Coaster | NoLimits2

- This is it. My precreation of the World Record Breaker of all World Record Breakers: Falcon’s Flight at Six Flags Qiddiya.
For far too long we've had a lot of speculation on what exactly this ride will look like when complete. So I spent the last week (with the help of the amazing themeparx.com) recreating this ridiculous ride. As always, exact track shaping will undoubtedly vary, but I expect this to be mostly accurate to what the final product will be.
NOTE: The only section of the ride that did not have a public 3D blueprint [3] was the CLIFFTOP section. I went through several iterations and settled on this being the simplest solution, based off of one single top-down view [4]. THIS SECTION IS NOT CONFIRMED!! This section should be viewed as "This is what it COULD look like." Hope that makes sense!
That said, enjoy the video!
STATS:
Height (max): 607ft, reached at top of cliff [4]
Height (freestanding): 531ft freestanding signature Arch Hill [4]
Speed: ~155mph
Length: Over 4km (13,123ft)+
Road Wheels Melted Daily: 487

Love how the hyper-sized first drop is literally like a pre-drop
Giga sized actually!!
The maintenance on these trains will be outrageous
I was JUST thinking that. And the maintenance for the LSMs because they’re in the desert is going to be a nightmare. They’re gonna need extra blowers and water to cool them off.
As bad as this sounds, I feel like they can afford to fix the thing every five minutes. And because everything is for show over there, they’ll probably do their best to always make sure it’s up and running.
those wheels will have to be obtusely large to accommodate those high speeds.
They're gonna need to make a whole new wheel compound if they don't want to replace them after every ride
@@SomeYTuser maybe they’ll use steel wheels instead of polyurethane
“Falcon’s Flight looks too intense for me.”
😂😂
RCT reference?
@@DJAdz86I believe planet coaster reference, but close enough
😂
@@respawnedlifeincorrect. it is RCT
If it gets built it would be like a real life version of the Phineas and Ferb roller coaster.
😂😂
it's being built currently, the first launch is already constructed
The layout for this ride was def drawn in crayon
More like the Fiery Fist O Pain
They are actually building it
this is the first version of this i've seen that actually looks like it could exist in real life
That was the goal! This is basically what will/is being built. Minor differences
@@MLDesigns you killed it. where are the blueprints you based it on? i wanna check them out. the big launch up the cliff is probably the most "i built this in rct2 while high" section of the ride, everything else is basically something intamin has done before if bigger so it makes sense to me now. crazy how similar it is to the initial video from a couple years ago, which did a much worse job than this of making any of it seem believable
one thing im curious about is a 531 foot tall camelback seems kinda high for coming off a 607 foot drop, going purely off momentum. but it looks like you have an additional launch in the tunnel to help it get back up?
@@stephenfeigenbaum3634 all reference material is linked in the description. Full park plans in 2d & 3d views. And yeah, I am assuming it requires some extra boost between the two tallest points. With the friction loss & air resistance, it may not even make it over the 531ft hill without some extra boost. If it did, it certainly wouldn’t provide 0G
Agreed
Imagine this running one train at a time 😍
well well...... let me tell you about why they can run more than one train on this coaster.......on rollercoasters a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy at a time. At the end of a block zone there is a method to stop the train, in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents rollercoaster trains from colliding with one another.

It’s like they took that crazy insane but perfectly crafted unrealistic roller coaster that every Plant coaster player has made and it’s actually becoming a reality. 🤯
The fact that it’s actually being constructed is absolute madness! This is by far the best pre-creation out there!
it’s really not THAT surprising considering how much money they have
@@coastingalong I always had faith that it’d get build for that reason but it’s still gonna be an absolute beast of a ride. Calling it now, it’ll be in a lot of GP “Top 10 scariest rides” thumbnails.
@@owenjholt1246 oh no doubt 🤣
I'm still not convinced they will get it up and running. Also it will be very difficult to keep operating, since it likely will be a maintenance nightmare. Doing daily trackwalks and keeping the sand from it will be a tough job.
@@simonr6268 are you an engineer
This looks so much better than the initial concept. Although looks like you'd need a full fighter pilot suit on just to survive the speed and air pressure changes.
If this turns out the way this shows, that largest hill will have the most sustained airtime of any ride in the world at 7-8 seconds. I can’t imagine what that might feel like, or even if it’s bearable for that long!
As an enthusiast this is probably the only coaster I would be nervous to ride
The only problem is that it’s in Saudi Arabia. Which you know. Is Saudi Arabia.
@@Roller_Coaster07 Not only is it in Saudi Arabia, but it's in the middle of the Arabian desert. It would have been bad enough if it was in the more hospitable climate on the coasts, or at least somewhat close to places tourists go.
@@Codraroll and the roller coaster is going to look like shit just like formula rossa. The sand is going fuck it up.
I would not hesitate to ride any existing coaster currently, but holy fuck Falcon’s Flight would leave me pissing my pants in the queue
@@zodiakw8963 That’s hilarious, but So True. Not sure if I could ever have the kahunas to get in line for that. I would have to be heavily under the influence of Something
I remember when I first saw the announcement + animation for this ride however many years ago I laughed my ass off because I thought no way in hell is this ride ever going to get built. Your prediction of the final outcome of the ride is only solidifying the fact that it actually is happening and getting me hype for how it turns out. I hope it's as close to this prediction as it can possibly get because this is absolutely sick. The freaking outerbank over the immense cliff right before the main drop would be probably the most daunting element on any roller coaster ever and I can only imagine all the constant speed this would have. Great freaking job
As El Toro Ryan tought me, the brakes at the top of the wall before the massive drop indicates a block zone, so a vehicle or something will have to be taken out there everyday and check it. Yikes lol.
i don’t know if saudi arabia has the same safety checks as the us but that would suck having to block check this ride
@@cheekycrab.even if they don’t Six Flags policy would probably make them
@@cheekycrab.lmao maybe that’s why it’s being built there instead of California or something.
☠️ let’s hope they run and maintain it safely
That would depend on how they program the ride. With 2 train operations for example, you could have your three zones be the platform, the first lift hill, and then the entire rest of the ride into the final brake run. A block zone needs to have brakes at the end of it, but not every brake necessarily has to be the end of a block zone
..service elevator?
Imagine that drop from the top of the mountain with a Vekoma tilt track
What I've seen since starting this hobby of roller coasters in 1981 is that breaking records of speed, height, and length always causes problems, and almost never results in record-breaking thrills. Same with new technology and complexity.
And in recent history it's been intamin rides too
@@RJA Absolutely right! And a shame, because Intamin coasters are usually a lot of fun.
millennium force (first 300 foot coaster) was great, but than top thrill dragster and king da ka were both mid.
@@thebe_stone Millenium Force first drop is fantastic, the big, first turn is fun, the rest of the ride is mediocre IMO. I was not impressed with Kingda Ka & rode it several times _trying_ to like it, but it just doesn't grab me. Haven't been on TTD.
Finally a realistic No limits coaster of Falcons flight
My guess would be that guests will be wearing some eye covering similar to that of Formula Rossa at Ferrari World in Dubai. I also suspect this will have quite extensive maintenance inspections and downtime due to the location, temperatures and the launch system used. Fingers crossed they are able to make this work efficiently.
It looks like they are putting up what looks like a windshield on the front of each individual cart. So that could be what helps keep shit from hitting you in the face and or eyes.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy. At the end of a block zone is a method to stop the train in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding with one another
What an amazing recreation! Great job! Can't wait to visit the park to ride it one day!
HOW?? This literally looks identical as the real animation! insanity by all means
I love how he says the clifftop section probably won't look like that and it looks almost exactly like that! Good work man!
It’s crazy the construction is still happening
If this roller coaster finishes being built, it will undoubtedly be nominated for one of the wonders of the world.
Just imagine riding this coaster in the dark in the desert.you’d see the Milky Way light up the sky.fear and awe hitting you at the same time
is this saudi arabia?
@@_Aemond1 I believe so
crazy how accurate this prediction was
even the thumbnails on this and on the officia one are almost identical
@@johanlenox yeah, but what was really amazing was how the section atop the cliff was
That hill is going to look ridiculous and cool
Such a beast of a coaster, not even talking about the real thing (which is still a beast) but making this layout, the supports and even the surrounding area for immersion, great job ML 🔥
Thank u Skywrp🙏🙏
I came back to this after looking at the official animation… spot on! Like, exactly how it came out!
The forces on that last turn must be crazy
I may be Trippin, but I feel like the Gs pulled from the dip down the mountain into the top hat is going to be insane.
Great creation, by far the best one on TH-cam!
Meat riderrrrrrrrrrr free like a canesterrrrrrrrrrrr
That one giant hill alone would probably give this ride the airtime record
I can just imagine the amount of down time this coaster will have in the desert.
There's lots of coasters out here in the desert, downtime is about average as all other places.
@@Im_A_Watermelon yes but are they 600 feet tall
We've been overdue for a new coaster that inspires awe. Godspeed to the team building it.
Looks like something straight out of Planet Coaster. Amazing. Shame about the ownership though. Building amazing rollercoasters doesn't exactly make up for...the other stuff.
I love buildings rides in parks only rich people or religious zealots with oil stocks can go to.
- the manufacturer, probably.
yea :( if it's a success though (which I am hesitant about but anyway...) perhaps something similar might appear elsewhere. If it's not a success then unlucky for them I guess.
This is how Saudi is attempting to become more tolerant. Years ago they would have never invited non-hajj tourists into their country, this is a big step for them. They are acknowledging they cannot be the hermit kingdom anymore, they need to enter the globalized world one step at a time.
Gosh - this looks just GREAT! Thank you!
I would love to ride this coaster imagine how mcuh fun it would be!!
So….I have questions. Those hills are a very long way from the station. If anything happens and a train is stuck up there somewhere, how long is it going to take for evacuation and will people suffer heat exhaustion before that time? I can see this ride really being a problem.
I would guess the park would keep a small station up there, with a member of staff on permanent standby with a cherry picker and a cooler full of water bottles.
It's road accessible and other stuff will be built up there. Easy prasy.
Its a great concept. Not really sure what we can expect from the real version. This long track in the heat, might be tough for the maintenance crew.
i believe in the concepts, even the later more realistic ones, the drop is a normal-shaped drop through a tunnel in the side of the cliff, not a downwards ramp with a launch on it. the very original concept definitely had the downwards launch, but the spec sheet only said two launches, which are both of the lift hills.
Good luck maintaining this, sf qiddiya!
It’ll be a miracle if this project is finished, but man will it be a beast if it is
They already started to build it ;)
@@grandmenhir160 Yes, but starting is a long way off from finishing. This will be insane if they complete it, but I'm not holding my breath.
No doubt guaranteed to be the best coaster ever built if it gets finished.
@NotPennysBoat great views ig. and good air time at the start. both of those things are already really great. plus the whole record breaking thing. i guess it doesn't look like the most forceful thing in the world but with what it already has does it need to be?
It’s not going to be built… it defies physics and likely wont be profitable sadly
Terrified and hyped at the same time that’s insane
That’s the BOSS of all roller coasters 🎢!! The speed, size , height & looking 👀 out on top of the ledge of mountains 🏔️ is absolutely 💯 unbelievable. I’ve got to go!!

And btw: Awesome Precreation. It is simply unbelievable that such a project is actually being built.
This is completely, OVER THE TOP!
I think they will have to design special trains for this coaster, otherwise the wheels will have to be replaced way too often, maybe trains with bigger wheels
Not only special trains but also special track. Yes this things track is way larger than average intamin track, it is almost a B&M size track with intamin shape. Trains as shown however look like they are about to crack and snap under high forces if they don't have a diffrent structure inside the shells than it's visible from outside
The fact that this coasters little prelifthill drop is like 200 ft 😅
WOW😳😲🤯🤠😃..I was waiting for one of these videos to see what the up to date fastest ride will look like...
Dang that thing is huge! Love the big drop into the tunnel tho! But yea the maintenance and the physical forces to maintain a ride like that... dunno if another country has the resources for that. Interesting concept tho
The amount of stress on the trains and track, not to mention the amount of rollbacks this thing will have. I give it 6 operating seasons max.
Talking out your a__.
For a second i thought 4:14 was gonna be a tilt section 😂😂 That would've been crazy
I wonder what are the g forces on those hills, specially the giant cammelback.
Excellent work. ❤😁
This coaster looks insane. If the speeds and the specifications, as person you may not even be able to ride it. Between G-Force, hight, and all the other things. Good luck with this concept build, also don’t forget about that Mountin shifting and pieces breaking off it…it is Mother Nature.
Superman Fiesta Texas is built on top of a quarry🤷🏻♂️ i see your point though, not sure how they can ensure safety.
those are old mountains that no longer shift smh
What are the vertical forces on the two massive airtime hills after the cliff drop?

As a die hard Kingda Ka stan, I don’t know how to feel about this coaster. The dive off the cliff seems like a stretch to claim the height record because it isn’t self-supported. It’s like saying X-Scream is the tallest roller coaster because it’s on top of the stratosphere. The airtime hill, sure that counts for height, but the cliff thing definitely isn’t fair. Only Intamin would be insane enough to build a beast like this, I'd imanage that ride would need the output of a small nuclear reactor to run it, especially that LSM launch up the mountain.
I can’t blame them for doing it. If they get this up and running with people it could change the reputation of that company
@@JJJJ-he8bz I doubt it. The likelihood of things going wrong on a ride like this is tremendous. They will make some big bucks though!
Yeah. Intamin built Formula Rossa so stands to reason they'd be building this one. Intamin is known for building high-maintenance coasters. One of the reasons Cedar Fair stopped working with them. I'd prefer a B&M. Saying that, my most favorite coaster to this point is VelociCoaster which is Intamin. Fury 325 (B&M) a CLOSE second.
Imagine a rollback on this thing 💀
Are there LSM on the drop off the cliff , I saw other renders with them
Amazing layout. Hope it's something like this irl
imagine having to evacuate a train from the top of the mountain 💀
Genuinely think a helicopter would be the easiest & quickest way of getting people back😂
This things prelift is an entire hyper coaster
I can't believe they are really building this! Wow
Someone had to do it, glad you did
I still can’t believe this ride is actually getting built 🤩🤩
That’s a lot of ride to maintain. Also, they’d have to run like 5-6 trains at once or the wait times would be unbearable.
Can't run any more trains than there are block sections to stop them. (This is why most long steel roller coasters have a straight, flat section of track where they can stop the train in an emergency and the train can successfully coast back to the station when released). I'm guessing three or four trains depending on how they configure the mountain launch. Could add one more train if they add a waiting block before (or after) the station but don't know enough to say whether a waiting block would increase actual capacity or just defer the waiting time from the line to the ride.
Good job man 👍
Yo how do you get the launch sound and the new gen lsm fins
In Saudi Arabia, we call the roller coasters a "death coaster" and this coaster is really deadly 😂🔥

This looks amazing, I just have one question about the small bunny hill at the end of the mountain. It looks very intense, and might not pass with the amount of g force
The fact this is real is insane. They must've been looking on TH-cam at the mad creations from theme park sim folk.

The construction is just the first step...lets be real, it needs to work. They can build it all they want but this seems like it will be a maintenance nightmare.
Looks awesomely insane. Great creation. What are the stats for this?
Looks amazing. Even if its built though, i dont think ill ever get the opportunity to ride this thing
How could the track and wheels handle the stress from all that track and speed?
Track is steel and G forces will be human limited, the track will be fine. It's gonna go through a lot of wheels. Formula Rossa is half the length and will likely be slower. I have heard it went through a lot of wheels early on and they trim it right after it's launch. I'm guessing there is going to be a trim coming down that 500ft camal back. I think this is gonna shred a bunch of wheels.
the real question is: can people handle it?
@@tufab3494 wouldn't the ppl in the front need to wear safety goggles just like formula rossa?
Poorly. And then there's the thermal cycles of intense heat and cold, because it's built in the freaking desert.
@@Codraroll yeah the good thing is, the same company built a ride with similar speed in a similar environment and while it had some teething troubles in the beginning, it has been adequately reliable since. So if anyone can pull it off it's Intamin.

@@Rolling_Coasters If so, the coaster will practically be unrideable.
What forces does this pull over the giant camelback hill?
Probably consistent floater airtime. Would be insane and also probably uncomfortable if that was sustained ejector
@@NathanHydra Don't underestimate Intamin and how far they can push the limits
@@AdamSmith-gs2dv I don’t doubt the willingness of intamin pushing limits, I doubt the limits of the human body. Sustaining ejector airtime for that long might result in red-outs if a rider has a slightly increased blood pressure. Red outs are dangerous.
